I am a beta in an ABO story. The alpha I took care of for three years has awakened from his vegetative state. Everyone tells him that it was my omega brother who took care of him all these years. Okay novel. Somewhat predictable. Easy read with green flag ML (Wei Hang).

The story flows as the intro states. ML's dad gives MC money to never show up in front of ML. MC takes the money but ML's dad wanted MC to attend ML's and MC's brother engagement party. MC does attend and sees ML again. Then ML latches onto him like a bur and follows MC back to his home town.

MC had used the "get lost" money to pay off his dad's debts. His dad was scammed in the past and ended up deep in debt.

Something happens and MC ends up getting a merit from the government. He's also pregnant with twins. ML's parents give in and no longer disapproves of MC and ML's relationship.

A nice and sweet reading.

The first two (?) chapters was upsetting because we see MC treated badly by bad people.

But I love how ML persist with pursuing/staying by MC's side.

... more>> Didn't expect an intense scene, but that was a nice touch too to make MC even more Outstanding.

I'm relieved that at certain scene, ML didn't force himself and MC gave his consent.

In the end I'm soooooo relieved they get their truly Happily Ever After ending. ML truly Love and Protect MC, and MC shines with his own ability.

The Mpreg part definitely the Best touch for their HE.

All in all I LOVE THIS NOVEL!!! <<less

Short, quick and cute as the "betas are losers" people get slapped down hard. A fun twenty minute read and it's holds up plot wise. Little character development - well it's a short story after all - but some funny parts and even an action scene. Try it.

The plot is not that unique. But if you just want to read something short give it try.

Absolutely hate the narrative it ended with.

Was supposed to be a promising beta × alpha story where the beta is accepted and loved by the ML instead of being shunned for Not Being "a precious omega who can carry his bloodline".

And guess what!

Even though the ML supposedly is a "green flag" who seemed to love MC despite his gender, the story still had to forcibly push that pregnancy sh*t at the end. The beta MC magically becomes pregnant and is happily accepted into ML's family because now he can continue... more>> their bloodline!

Then they live happily ever after as a "perfect family"!

Couldn't you just write a generic omega × alpha sh*t if you were going for this trope?

Could've been an easy 10/10 but author just had to ruin it by trying too hard to insert social validation into a perfectly cute and unique story. <<less

Short yet promising and fun story. The build up on the story line goes up quickly yet understandable. The pace not entirely too fast and definitely cover the whole plot in a perfect manner. I love both the leads, their characterization are brief as it's a short story yet their characters are not shallow and I could see them as a 'person' inside the story. I'd probably re-read again in the future, because the translator doing their best to translate it in a way people could understand the story better.
