The FL family was facing accidents one by one and she suspects her fiancee. Then she found that it was true and ran for life with her only nephew. Then she met ML who holds the little boy hostage in exchange for FL 's survival resources (Don't misunderstood here. The ML didn't do anything dirty and it was a transaction). After spending time with the subordinate FL, the lord ML began to admire her and thus love sparks (Of course there were many exclusive turn which can be enjoyed only by reading😉😉). After a little fighting, at last they got together. At the end we see FL with her two little sons sitting by the can*l (Poor ML 😢😢 He was not there in the family ending scene.

We can say that the novel start with the rising storms for digging can*l and ends with the flow of the canal.

When every character of the novel has life, then we can enjoy 100%. This is the main flaw here. First come tothe marriage. It happened too fast that I thought I missed some episodes. No bridal gift or ancient dowry talk. No explosive scene before marriage or main leads talking part about marriage. The ML entered the marriage scene directly in bridal chamber. No scenes after marriage and the author directly brought two kids. After that the leads send the kids to their grandparents. Well it was somewhat confusing as they don't have scenes with children. There was also no ending mention for the nephew, the royal members, FL's colleague, former fiancee, song and xu family and many more. They were also important characters. The ending only mentioned the FL. Moreover, their married life was described in a few lines.

In total the ending is really abrupt. I think author was bored and decided to just end it
