For more than a decade, she disguised herself as a weakling while preyed on the strong – Qiao Qing had never viewed reputation as an important matter.

But people began to take advantage and purposely hurt the ones she cared about.

Qiao Qing then decided to stop hiding her real self.

An incapable good-for-nothing? Her natural genius IQ can explode your eyeballs!

A lowly commoner? Her real identity made her someone who you are not worthy enough to be friends with!

A feeble chick? Her skills in ancient martial art can result in you looking for your teeth all over the ground!

A godly student, a godly Go player, a godly night rider, a godly martial artist… as her real identity was revealed little by little all those snobs who once viewed her poorly began to switch sides and attempted to please her.

Qiao Qing shut the front door. No guests welcomed.

She blocked those who wanted her for their own selfish demands, but she couldn’t stop this one evildoer from approaching her.

Just like that, climbing over the walls and entering through the window became Jun Yexuan’s specialty.

As the President of the Jun Corporation, he had enough to protect Qiao Qing her entire life.

But what bothered him was that Qiao Qing was far too independent and far too capable. Without any of his help, she was able to successfully handle everything.

Jun Yexuan became moody – he felt like he wasn’t needed!

So, on a random day, a cry for help appeared on Weibo,
“What do I do when the wife is too capable? Waiting for immediate responses – it’s urgent.”

As of now, I'm on chapter 577 Raws. There are good and bad aspects of this book.

The bad... The Qi family. I find them sooooo annoying. I want to reach into the book and slap them all in the face. Even though they're "good" to her, it's too much and too controlling.

Everything else is good.

This is the typical Mary Sue novel.

The plot is actually a lot better than many of them, although is somewhat repetitive. The good thing is that it is entertaining and not one of those that you want to skip and ignore.

Basically, the MC is capable of doing anything but tries to be low key. Outside of the ML most of the characters that appear are actually enjoyable even if in a cringe way. The humor is very crude but can give some chuckles.

The biggest flaw in this novel is the... more>> ML. The parts where he appears and act like a whiny manchild are so annoying that I don't doubt some people will drop the novel because of him (I know that I almost did). Most of the time he exists only to sexually harass the MC, act like a spoiled child and create more trouble for her. If he was ugly and poor he would be one of the losers that pays OF girls for a minimum of human interaction. The ML is pathetic. Fair warning: don't read this because of romance because it sucks. Don't read this and think that the ML is a good yandere character, he isn't. Don't read this if you like overbearing CEOs. The parts with the ML will make you want to stop reading. He is not a good or entertaining character. If he appears just ''close your eyes and think about England''.

The second biggest flaw is how casual characters are about r*pe. It don't even look like a crime in this universe. There's one character that was kidnapped, r*ped by her ''future loving husband'' and always tries to escape her rapist before being captured and being brought back again. The ''joke'' is how long it will take before Stockholm syndrome kicks in and she accepts her fate. This is one of the MC best friends BTW and there were multiple times where she begs the MC to help her and is ignored.

To be honest, the novel is not that bad. The plot is good for the genre (Mary sue MCs) and the characters (besides the ML) are actually entertaining. This is one of those novels that needs a good editor and a rewrite. <<less

I'm not sure how this is supposed to be a comedy honestly? It's not particularly funny.

The MC is interesting so far although I wish they gave more background on how she got to be so OP in the first place. The ML is SO ANNOYING. One of those 'you will be mine, if you fall in love with anyone else I will kill them' types just constantly harassing the MC, touching her, telling her she will belong to him. I have no idea why this is considered 'romantic' ! It's... more>> just disgusting.
Spoiler

He deliberately stabbed himself to get her attention/sympathy. This is not romantic, this is emotional manipulation and it's a MASSIVE RED FLAG.

Yes, he is nice to her but that's just... the bare minimum?

The rest of the story is decent enough as lighthearted entertainment; there's some face slapping, the MC is pretty cool, there's some interesting plot elements. <<less

If there is a Queen Mary Sue, the MC (Qiao Qing) is probably her. Throughout the story, MC's almighty skills will be exposed one by one in explosive ways. In terms of plot, worldbuilding, and character building this book might probably only get 3 stars. But in terms od entertainment, I'm giving it a 4. Why? Because even though I kept facepalming and quitting, I also find myself coming back to read it. Mostly, after reading a much heavier novel because this novel is very lighthearted. So far, I have... more>> yet to shed tears or get mad. It's a super light read when I have nothing else to read.

There are a lot of ridiculous things about this book but still entertaining.

Spoiler

Like people let her treat and operate on a living person when she's only 17, and her only medical knowledge comes from books like emeged are they serious?

It started off as an interesting read but quickly got repetitive. The ML was overly forceful in his pursuit of the MC at the beginning. I chose to ignore that and continued on, but eventually his personality just became too overbearing and controlling. He's supposedly a super successful and ruthless CEO, but would get jealous at anything that gets close to the MC. His first instinct is to give them the death glare. If that doesn't work, he lunges at them to throw fists. Always checking on where she is... more>> and who she hangs out with. Questioning her relationship with anyone she speaks with like he doesn't trust her to stay loyal. It's just painful to read and no one should aspire to have such a partner.

The overall pattern of this novel is pretty predictable. MC gets put in a challenging situation, some guy tries to pursue her (or one of her cousin figured out that she's related to them), that person then fights with ML for her attention. The drama then revolves around a mysterious character who could solve all of their problems that the time. MC encounters an antagonist, usually female, who would take interest in ML while also constantly putting down MC for not being comparable. MC is then revealed to be the ultra famous, ultra talented mysterious person mentioned above. Rival gets shamed out of existence. ML gets more and more possessive and jealous. Seriously, like a little kid who doesn't want to share and will throw tantrums at the suggestion of sharing....

Spoiler

He also abuses animals. He nearly choked a fox to death for being too close to the MC. The fox is her pet...

[collapse]

The only bearable characters are her cousin brothers who are just overly enthusiastic about having a sister. I might be biased since I kind of enjoy how they think the ML isn't good enough for her (honestly he isn't).

MC is also a very dull Mary Sue type character. She doesn't like to speak much. Will let annoying bugs pest around her because she's too lazy to get rid of them. Too indulgent of the ML. Too many talents. Basically the Ultimate Mary Sue. I'm just now listening to the audiobook version as background noise but even then I don't think I'll make it to the end.

TLDR: Read at the risk of your sanity. <<less

This book is absolutely absurd but it does scratch an itch in your brain. As the synopsis has stated, the MC is very very Mary Sue and OP, to the point that you just get sick of it.

Spoiler

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler since the synopsis has already made it out that she’s really OP. Anyways, throughout the book, her multiple identities will appear. You’ll find that she’s a famous go player, a famous writer/novelist, the God of racing, the God of martial arts, the queen perfumer, the legendary architect, a famous CEO (honestly are we even surprised at this? Being a CEO for a Mary Sue is obviously a must, duhh), the God of Guns, owner of the country’s most expensive and popular restaurant, the Godly doctor, a Godly hacker and etc. Honestly there are so many identities, I can’t even keep track.

The book will explain that the reason she works so hard is to find her dad. One thing the book does is that it’s good at following the plot. Of course, at the start of the book, there are some fillers but the entire book follows the plot of finding her dad, which is quite good since most OP CNovels always drags on the story and moves away from the original plot. Obviously the story could be much much shorter without the fillers and s*upid side characters.

Also another thing is the amount of men who just falls in love with the MC, like please, the book took this to an ENTIRE whole new level. I was quite annoyed at this tbh. The ML at the start of the book annoyed me so much as well.

[collapse]

It can be quite boring reading a book where the MC just wins the whole time but I did tear up a little at some parts, only a little. It’s not tear jerking but it does bring out some emotion. The background of the MC and how hard she had to work is quite pitiful. The amount of drama in the book will also keep you going, it makes you want to continue reading. It’s the type of book that you don’t like because it’s s*upid but you just want to continue because it tickles your brain. For me, what made me continue reading on was when the MC’s identities were slowly revealed throughout the whole book. Yes, throughout the entire book. When her identities were revealed, the shock from the people around her and from the entire world in the book made me feel a type of satisfaction that just makes me giggle. That’s what made me read so far. I was also really curious about the MC’s dad. It’s not a bad book, just don’t use your brain too much while reading. Abandon all sorts of common sense. <<less

this novel was really a journey alright! like someone mentioned- has its good aspects and bad aspects, in fact so bad it makes me feel really uncomfortable in my heart. this is the matter of the plot tho so it seems to be purposely integrated which made me even more unable to bear it... ill try my best to give a comprehensive review of the overall novel. spoilers prolly ahead-read at ur own risk.

when it comes to the world background it's very simple, seemingly 21st-century china, a modern romance. nothing... more>> confusing about it but what is unpleasant is the character background and growth experience that's at most vaguely described since she has all these skills it'd be nice to know more of how they came about and not just hear the of its legends. As for MC's father-he too has a poor background story where we see her worship and love him so much but we aren't really told about how deep their feelings were and how great he'd been. The idea for the book is great and also nothing rare but the issue comes up when there are too many elements that haven't been put in yet poorly integrated into the story. There wasn't much the feeling of excitement or shock-factor when her identities were revealed that it kinda got boring since or me the best part is when everyone realizes how much they underestimated her and when the MCs' prowess is in fool bloom, yet here the reactions failed my expectations. I love OP MC's even more so when the skills they have are entirely their own and not some dog-sh*t luck or over-the-top system cheats... there are little characters of importance at the same time too many characters of no importance. some instances in the story piss me off like when everyone is bullying the ML saying that he doesn't deserve her just because shes awesome and they really trample over him... in this book my fave character is the ml, he's so sweet and amazing and overall a treasure.

great story idea but somewhat poorly executed-not the worst but could be better! howeversince I managed to stay till the end I never regretted reading. despite its manyyy lwas it wasn't a bad read <<less
