The "AFK Farming" adds nothing of value. In fact, it's just a more boring version of other cheats. The schtick from the synopsis seems to be that he doesn't like danger so he cultivates and "becomes invicible without realizing it" or something.

The synopsis is lying to you as usual. Power scaling goes off the rails to him being ludicrously strong extremely quickly, and he can obviously tell. He goes out to battle regularly. He says he is trying to be low key but for some reason talks extremely arrogantly constantly... more>> and flaunts his power.

I think the point of these stories is to have the MC "shock the world" or have it be really funny how strong he is in face of people's expectations when he never goes out but ends up so powerful. This story just makes everything feel so boring somehow and everybody's reactions to his ludicrous power is so tame. Like he fights people over a realm above him and beats them with utter ease meanwhile pulls out whatever super rare spirit beast that somehow cultivates faster than him and is a realm above him, and people just say "wow he's so talented", and don't investigate how he got talented or where all these random insanely rare beasts came from.

If you thought the premise seemed interesting, read Top Tier Providence instead. <<less

Yeah, no. Can't say I enjoyed reading a highly repetitive novel with nothing much going for it. It seemed good at first but it quickly descended into the usual cultivation trope wherein, as their 'cultivation realm' becomes more and more profound, the more they become a fcking NEET. Heck, he's even worse than a NEET. The MC's character did not develop at all in the slightest (in fact he became worse and even ignored those he formed bonds with just to be a complete recluse, not leaving his 'safe abode'... more>> at all). It's just not fun to read, at all. Like, he could have helped his friends to progress given how he 'mastered' a lot of auxiliary craf MI l LGting methods but nooo. He's a selfish b*tch who had the gall to even say he was 'sad' to see his friends die in front of him even though he did nothing at all to maintain his relationship with them. I dropped it cuz his character was moving backwards and not forward at all.

Note: He is AFK Farming so there's no fcking reason at all for him to ignore everyone around him and be a recluse mofo but he still chose to. Then he'll go around complaining that it's starting to get boring just AFK farming when he himself isn't really doing much. Like, b*tch, of course it's boring when you're just sitting around counting the specks of dust in the room. So infuriating. <<less

This may have been the most ban*l book I've ever read from WebNovel. The AFK farming software cheat is not bad, but the way the author writes can literally make you fall asleep. So much word count fluff from copying and pasting entire game notifications where he only changes one word, so much sh*t about him just switching out things from AFK farming. MC is low key most of the time where he just cultivates in seclusion but when he goes out he has the most arrogant behavior, which is... more>> very weird. Time means nothing here and the author does casual skips of hundreds or thousands of years. Very boring. <<less

The MC is someone who wants to be lowkey but flaunts and arrogant. Background characters are lame in a sense that they are willing to be dogs for the MC because he is strong. Seriously? Is loyalty that cheap? They don't question why ang how he have those things. He is also narrow-minded and vengeful coated with the author's claim of being cautious. Without the system, he's tr*sh.
