The little prodigy Chu Xiao Xiao grew up in a lot of love since childhood but did not know she had an older brother until she was three years old, until one day the whole family watched the Spring Festival Gala.

Chu Xiao Xiao: This star can’t sing or dance, how can he still be on the Spring Festival Gala?

Father Chu pointed to the fool in red on TV and introduced: Xiao Xiao, this is your brother.

Chu Xiaoxiao:???

Chu Xiaoxiao: My brother made such a big fool of himself at the Spring Festival Gala, how can I hold my head up in front of the kids in the future!

The big star Chu Xiao Yi has tens of millions of fans, very popular, but did not know that he suddenly had a sister until one day he finished his work during the Spring Festival Gala.

Father Chu sent a text message: come home when you have time, your sister misses you.

Chu Xiaoyi:????

Chu Xiao Yi: I’m busy with work, and haven’t entered the house more than three times. My parents actually gave birth to a second child!?

In Chu Xiao Xiao’s opinion, even if Chu Xiao Yi is the idol admired by millions of young girls, he is just an obnoxious brother. In Chu Xiao Yi’s opinion, even if Chu Xiao Xiao is an amazing and intelligent prodigy, she is just an annoying sister.

Chu Xiao Xiao, Chu Xiao Yi: In this family, either he (she) dies, or she (he) dies.

The brother was annoying at first but he got better afterwards. This novel is more of a slice of life/ familial love type of story. Totally my type of story. There's no drama whatsoever. Don't expect much world building nor romance.

The parents are mmmm idk how to say it. The father has a not so good father-son realtionship and he was your typical asian tiger parent but soft to his daughter. Kinda relate to that.

The MC is the usual child of destiny. I won't complain much about it cus she... more>> is actually quite nice. The ML is okay ig.

Kinda fed up with the children must be eisten level smart and speak 567 languages while also discovering the cure of cancer. Like babee you're only 6. Still enjoy the rest of the story tho. <<less

I feel emotional after reading this, not emotially liking the character but hating them, especially the MC. I hate that kind of people like her, and keep my blood pressure increase! Not heartwarming at all.

A fun read. Recommended. Love the siblings relationship and other characters relationship with one another. Relatable. The dialogue between siblings (as well as others) are mostly hilarious.

Great story!

The comedy and interaction with the Child MC and her brother were so amusing. Seeing their relationship of silently guarding one another was so cute and heartwarming.

The way parents struggles with their children's future and children's struggles with understanding their parents was so interesting.

... more>> I loved the ML! He was a genius is his right, but ordinary otherwise. It's also fascinating to see how, once talent is discovered and appropriate effort is made, how far one can go in the case of the ML with his musical talents.

For anyone coming or expecting romance, there is just a hint of it, but mostly nonexistent.

This concept with a genius MC, class for genius students only, celebrity brother, childhood sweethearts CP so much could be done and explored, but it's truly a pity the author left it all on surface level.

A short, sweet read that cures boredom and warms the heart. <<less

Fun and refreshing story.

The interaction between the brother and the sister are cute and the progress in their relationship is nice to see.

The relationship between the parents and the brother is great too and it is heartwarming to see them slowly connect again after being kind of strangers to each other for a few years.

Not that many side characters so far, so I can’t judge that one.

Hope this gets picked up again in the future... will edit the review then, when the story has progressed a bit more.

I'm currently up to c10 part 2. I honestly love it so far. There are important themes and issues that the author wanted to highlight (about family conflicts etc, mending relationship), but at the same time, the interaction between the MC and 3-and-a-half year old sister adds humour/light-heartedness to the situation giving good balance.

Perhaps the recent webnovels I have been reading have been so repetitive that they have gotten mundane but this really made me tear and laugh so far. I hope that the this can continue to get translated... more>> - but even if it is not, I think I will read the novel in the original language. <<less

I was interested in this for the complex family dynamics, but I absolutely disdain reality tv shows for novels that are supposed to focus ON ACTORS. so I gotta drop it.

imo the brother is not a brat. He has trauma from his entire childhood and he can never get the true apology from the person who always made him feel like he wasn't good enough bc he wanted to go into arts bc now the person is changed and old. HE WAS ABUSED. Just because he holds resentment doesn't mean he's a brat. Smh @ other reviewers.

His mom has a true perspective for being mad at his son for grouping his resentment against his father with her. It's interesting. Different perspective for sure. I don't know if I fully agree with her delivery when she aired out her resentment... Also why didn't she ever call him then to call him out on it? Seems weird for her to be mad that he was mad @ the family and left and not message him to contact her at least once if she really missed him.... You would think she wouldn't mind being the bigger person initially. Especially since the dad who f*cked up was willing to. The more I think about it. The more I'm not sure I agree with her....

The father is honestly so typical. Even how he's kind to the second child and has changed is typical. I dunno. I give him points for knowing he was wrong and trying to make it up to the ml.

These people need therapy, not a genius adult 3 year old daughter....

The MC.... hm I closed an eye to read her. The whole time I'm like.... She's 3 years old dude. She's not a genius btw, she's just plain book op golden fingers. They even say it. Anyways she's not a child at all. More like a logical thinking, opportunistic person by observing change in emotions. Her comprehension is when it's convenient very high but then just "I dunno why this is happening I'm a kid" thought process when it isn't convenient. She slow gets there but it's more like robot with sensing abilities learning emotional complexities than a f*cking 3 year old thinking about it. Fyi. And I love op characters. But homie. Like make her op at 14 or something. But 3 yr old is too soon sir for at least my enjoyment.

Aye, I know this is supposed to be fluffy but the angst is getting to me. I feel like there's a fish bone stuck in my throat, I just wish the family would begin the reconciliation much sooner.

At start ML comes out to be a brat who hasn't grown up but with the help of his sister he goes under emotional development and MC (sis) too who has been protected since childhood get to know more emotions outside her comfort zone (she can perceive emotions in the form of colors towards herself of others). MC is more like a binding force that binds her broken family.

More focus on MC growing up.

Story from both ML and MC prespective

I really like side characters and yaa my cp of Chu xiaoxiao and liang shuangqi came true in extras.

Hoped to see more of both MC and liang shuangqi family plus Yang yin later rather than entertainment part

It's a slice of life with comedy.

ML has no cp.

Sometimes story gets boring I guess due to mtl and no romance.
