I really used to love this manhwa and the artstyle but I had to drop it as the FL was dumb enough to end up with the same man that killed her in her past life and yeah ik he had a tr*sh life too but thats still not a valid reason for her to immediately forgive him.

I really wanted her to end up with the carrot guy or the yandere guy but she still choose the one that treated her miserably in her past life like girl??

She also had... more>> so many choices, she really had potential to achieve a good future and become an independent woman, this is why I dropped this manhwa.

Im not mad that she ended up with ML but the fact she couldve done better is rlly sad.

To anyone who has anger issues I do not recommend u reading this shit

respect to the artist tho🫶 <<less

Have a great day y’all!

This story deserves a better rating than 2.7. The choice of male lead... not the greatest. Sends a very bad real world message, even if it's justified in universe. It also becomes hard to trust the ML because yeah, he's being nice now, but we know what he could do if he started feeling cranky. It doesn't help that he isn't even around that often because Tia avoids him and he has very few POV sections. This leads to his changed attitude making very little sense because now we don't... more>> know why he disliked her to begin with nor why he likes her now. The explanation for why he didn't like her also makes him look like a gullible fool.

That being said, the rest of the story is quite solid. Tia is a little on the bland side and strangely naive, but she's still a sympathetic and interesting character. In particular I enjoy that she does have a certain level of unexpected complexity to her: For all her resentment of Jeiun, Jeiun was NOT a bad person, was not at fault for what happened and Tia's attitude towards her was not really justified. It's understandable that she'd resent the girl, but she also fails to extend the slightest ounce of sympathy despite Jeiun making it very clear she genuinely wanted to get along, never wanted this situation in the slightest and just wanted to go home after she was taken away from everyone she ever knew and loved and thrown into a ridiculously complex role she had never been prepared for and where no one respected her. A completely faultless protagonist can be very boring, so I enjoyed seeing that Tia shared some responsibility there.

The secondary MLs feel a little mis or underused. Grass is okay but in the end it feels like his story is very self contained and doesn't affect the greater narrative except to be Failed Love Interest A. Why he's a failed love interest is somewhat interesting but in the end kind of irrelevant. Carrot, meanwhile, never really DOES anything. Is it because if he showed up too much he'd overshadow the actual ML? He doesn't really have any flaws, after all. Seems like a much safer choice.

So I think four stars is fine. Not good enough for 4.5, but it's overall an enjoyable story. <<less

Giving this 5 stars because I'm annoyed with the users who gave it 1 star despite the fact that they obviously didn't read the whole novel.

Spoiler

2nd timeline Ruve was the best love interest that Tia could have out of the three MLs. And she made the right decision for choosing him. The one with red hair was too childish and doesn't really understand her and Allen was a sociopath.

People thinks the FL forgive and forget what ML did to her. When actually FL never forgive or forget. In the novel never it says she forgive. Those who wrote she forgave him didn't read the novel, why are you giving a review?

Also the manhwa is not good so rushed they skipped scenes and new characters

Even at the end of the novel Aristia remembers the past. She said why should she take revenge on him when he didn't do anything to her? Aristia decided to enjoy the time with her... more>> father and makes friends, something she didn't do because her obsession with ruve (if you really read the novel you should know she was obsessed) that's why aristia decided to change, to live her own life enjoy moments say what she wishes and not trying to be perfect all the time. (Although aristia and ruve were wrong in their own way in the first timeline, can't say they loved each other because that was very toxic but there was an interest between them but I wouldn't call that "love")

Aristia thinks of the current Ruve like a diferent person, actually it is like that. Because in the universe of TAE it is implied that there are two timelines that occur at the same time. Jieun is the proof of that. There are two Ruve who lived at the same time even thought both of them went for the same situations they both reacted differently. Some would say that's thanks to change of aristia. So what's the point of this kind of stories if you can't change? Thanks to that Ruve doesn't let those rumors of aristia deceive him and he begins to see the real aristia (i wanna wrote more but that would be spoiler). Aristia decided to change not to avoid the tragic past but also to learn how to live her own life with love. The first ruve cannot be redeemed but the second doesn't have to. That's why there's two timelines. Aristia saved everyone not just Ruve, also her father and friends. And she finally learn how to love and how to be loved. I don't wanna be too boring so I leave it up here. I hope you can read TAE with an open mind considering the thousands of possibilities. <<less

I understand all the bad reviews but I still love this novel. The beginning was so good! As long as you don't read the ending or season 4 of the manhwa and think of your own ending, it will be fine. The book is 8/10 for me. It just holds a special place in my heart. The two second male leads are literally the best and I still simp for them to this day. The male lead is a disappointing but oh well... I don't remember this book for being... more>> bad, I only remember it's best. Because the begining to the middle is sooo exciting and fun. <<less

It has a nice storyline. It'll make you think "Where the f*ck is this story going?" lol

Unpredictable. Exciting. Mind-blowing.

This has a total of 367 chapters and most of the rumors and spoilers where just based on the more or less first100 chapters.

Out of the spoilers I've read so far, yooyunayoo's was the most acceptable and accurate.

I give a 3.o review.

On the positive note, the plot is intense and somehow compelling (?). They really on point with the political drama and how hard to trust people in the medieval kind of age. You can get easily heavily involve with the main character, Tia just by the first chapter. They manage to capture how the mindset of people in the olden age.

On the negative note, the ending isn't satisfying. Although it is really on point with the premise considering Tia isn't a reincarnated or a transmigrated protagonist.... more>> (Her mindset is practically medieval. LOL) Considering the trauma she went through (I'm not saying that the transmigrated girl or the emperor didn't experience it), it is practically impossible to feel infatuated to a guy that cause you misery whether you are in love with him or you know he isn't at fault. The closest thing she could feel to him was indifferent. But Tia is still in love with him, noted they show it in the earlier chapter and shows how she move on to it, I can still can't accept it. As a person with trauma that still carrying from childhood, it ain't easy removing the uneasiness from the person that cause you that trauma regardless if they felt sorry or not.

But I guess, it should be forgiven given the fact Tia's mentality isn't the same to us from the modern world. Tia is someone from the old age where they have different logic and women in those time are extremely meek so it ain't easy for them to become badass protagonist.

If you're asking that why those logic applies in this manhua where the premise happened in the different world? Because the time frame and the culture showned in this manhua is somehow aligned with the story.

But if I got to choose what kind of ending I wish to happen in this story, I just wish that Tia and Ruve just end up being friend and close allies with Tia inheriting her father's position while Ruve became a great emperor he was meant to be. It sounds beautiful to me that even they are not together, they can still work together for the betterment of the empire. (And Tia can actually have a peaceful life with her choosen spouse)

I know it is just wishful thinking. That is my opinion in this manhua. It is great and pretty much one big emotional roller coaster ride but the ending just disappointing for me. <<less

How... Could... They... Romanticized an assault.

Thank god it's a fictional novel. I am flabbergasted, there is no other way how I can express my disappointment. It was immaculate. The author really love the ML huh? I get the justification on how traumatize he is as a child. But can't they just be friends...

I don't understand why would FL fell in love again to the same person who has abandoned, assaulted, and beheaded her.

Both woman, Jieun and Tia are being pitied against each other... Ruve doesn't even that worth. What is... more>> the point introducing sub-MLs that are more caring and understanding just to pair the FL again with her abuser.

I don't get it. <<less

I would have loved this book if it was written properly. Scenario in the book changes abruptly it will make you confused. MC is little annoying sometimes. Ok I have a mixed feeling for ml. I wouldn't say I like him very much but I also didn't hate him. I guess because I already knew she will end up with him at the end so from the beginning I was more focused on their interactions and moments together. His reason for past behavior may not be good enough for his... more>> atonement but in my view he is not the same person in this time line. So I could accept him as her final choice. But I would have also loved if author chose Allendis as Ml. I cried a lot while reading his pov😢.
Spoiler

Also partly there's also mc's fault in her previous life, the way she behaved like a doll made for empress without emotion which further encouraged his hatred. Though this doesn't justify his behavior but I really hated mc's behavior as well. From her pov we can see she is really a conceited person. And yeah I really hated past timeline ML so much that I wished he would suffer more in his present timeline but again I couldn't blame the present timeline Ml. So, its unreasonable to hate this version of ML and also he really loves her so much so I couldn't hate him.

My favorite character from this book is mc's father. It was really good to read their strong father-daughter relation and their love and trust in eachother, this is really rare in Korean-Chinese books. I just gave 3star because of its writing style. In my opinion it wasn't written in good order especially at the ending part. <<less

Cute and long story that led to the happiest ending for the kingdom and characters! A lot of the problems could've been solved, had the characters been more expressive/communicative instead of expecting the others to understand their way of doing things.

I tried reading raw one but couldn't make sense of it. Though the story seems to take her back to the time when her father was still alive and she was still young. She had no clue as to why she time traveled back. Also the story here gives us a over view of how things first started but she doesn't go into details on who caused it so far besides the jerk that she liked that was the king.
