I'm currently translating this novel. I like romance novels and nobody was translating this, so I decided to do it myself. The story is pretty good (at least for now). The only problem is that the author keeps jumping from first person perspective to third person and vice versa without any reason. I'll come edit my review once I've covered a significant part of this novel.

Well, it's kind of the standard Cinderella story with quite a lot of unusual and interesting parts as well, so it's an enjoyable reading. My only complaint is that the villains are 2D and way too s*upid to be alive. But then again, it's mostly MTL so maybe the subtleties were lost in translation. I can't wait for the properly translated chapters to come out.

It's very rushed so far. While the author is able to hook the reader in they aren't doing much with the hooks. Toss in incredibly short chapters and it's very hard to say what's happening with this

kinda s*upid. Feels lifeless, as if it was put together by a marketing commitee composed of boring middle-aged men who are determined to stuff in every single well-selling cliche their market research pointed out.

with lines from FL like "thank you for letting me sleep in a forest and sorry for inconveniencing everyone who stumbled over my injured body", she feels less like a person and more like a parody, a carricature of the old cinderella trope. Seriously feels like it was written by an old guy who's trying to provoke... more>> someone's 'protective instincts' and doesn't realize romances are written for women, not men.
