I was enjoying it right up until chapter 37.

Spoiler

He dies together with a female store clerk and they both transmigrate. They reunite after he is accidentally teleported to another kingdom at age 6. He saves her life, family and village. They reunite happily as friends in foreign lands, then spend a month dungeon diving to deal with a dungeon overflow. That's all well and good, but then when he leaves to return to his home (in another kingdom that is at war with her kingdom) she decides to go with him.

I don't buy that even a month of risking their lives together would make her want to abandon the home and parents she has lived with for 6 years for a guy she's only known for one month (they met for the first time the day they died). I don't buy that her parents would support her decision. The author completely failed to sell this plot line to me. If you (the author) really want them together, have her attend a school in his kingdom once they're adults and the kingdoms aren't at war. Who the f*ck entrusts their 6 year old daughter to a 6 year old kid (I don't care how f*cking strong he is) ?

To be honest the first volume is really hard for me to swallow. Like, it just really hard to match the logic there. Though MC's family is quite chill about MC development. And going on, it's quite enjoyable read for me so far.

Though, one thing I couldn't help but to be sad about it, is the fact that TL-san website is a Patreon type that needed you to subscribe to be able to make a comment.

It's a very standard reincarnated light novel with the MC growing ridiculously powerful at an incredible young age. As it stands while there isn't anything ground breaking it writes the tropes well enough to be enjoyable.

There is one thing the gegeheehe8686 has stated which I didn't agree with.

the reason why the other transmigrated girl is entrusted to the main character isn't because she trust or that her family trusts him or anything like that. It's because she is becoming a well known holy magic user in her town which in this world is enough of a reason to be kidnapped and ens*aved. They bring up multiple times that both the MC and the other reincarnated girl have to keep their holy magic a secret otherwise both nobility or A-rank parties will try to snatch them up. So the Count of the area decided it would be best for Clarisse (transmigrated girl) to be sent off else where to get stronger before anything else.

The more I read, the more disgusted I feel about this novel. I don't even know where to start talking about this novel. Everything so bad that I couldn't understand why this novel get such high rating. All the character so god damn one dimensional that I could feel any emotion from any of them and what kind of bullsh*t is wrong with him parent commonsense? A one year old child talk like he knows everything and you don't feel anything at all?? And the level, state, etc. Also all... more>> over the place. At one moment the MC's brother have better state grow than him, then suddenly the MC start catch up and even surpass him, but it still believable since he get all the grow cheat unique skill. Then what? His brother suddenly have all him state grow much faster than him despite so little level increase??

Again this novel has so much plot hole and 0 world building as well as no character development at all and to make thing worst I couldn't feel the emotion that a family should have between their family. So, what with the high rating?? I could only give this novel a 1 star rating based on my experience with this novel. <<less

I am currently at chapter 27 and I am very confused about those negative reviews. Some talk about being blindsided and what not... First it´s a fantasy novel don´t be too logical.

The world setting so far is indeed a bit dim but its done in a nice way. You only get to know what´s relevant. To me it seems like there is a proofreader and someone who does the quality read or maybe the author is just very focused. Not a ton of world settings is very good.

Usually you get... more>> an overload of worldsetting (many rules) and a bit later the most rules are either broken or will never play a role ever. I prefer this bit by bit version.

So far the only thing that bugged me was the fact that it took him so long to tell others to deplete the MP. Not sure if will disclose this lifehack.

5 stars for the translation and the nice website (no cross site scripts = no data selling).

4 stars for the story itself. As of now I am quite pleased with the tempo and focus.

EDIT: - Chapter 81 end of vol 4/ start vol 5

I understand the dislike about the school arc... it´s a s*upid trope and makes no sense. MC had a character and a baseline but it was all thrown out of the window.

Spoiler

At first he wanted to only protect this japanese girl from his world (they are of the same age 20 years and were born again at the same time. All fine in my book. But he gets a harem... a big one... with a lot of disgustingly h**ny children..

Second is thefact about him hiding all traces of his japanese origin to avoid the mu*derer from his world... Yes at the end of vol. 4 the author just decided to name their ridicoulously prominent party Reimei. A japanese word that ONLY these three know... so yeah.. At this point the story willl probably go down the drain.

I stopped reading at chapter 21. I dont mind it was your usual isekai but it was badly written, so many lacking in details, and the story just progress on without me seeing it got better. Maybe I ever read something with so few details before but this is the first time I realize something like this to actually exist. The world building in this story is sorely lacking. I mean, how the heck a mid rank adventurer actually got to be viscount without any achievement so great that it... more>> shook the kingdom? Previously they got promoted to baron for the reason to manage a dungeon too. I can understand if they got to be the guards for dungeon but straight into baron rank gonna be a major events among the Count's clique and will have some serious discussion about it first but there's nothing about that at all. Well, just speaking from years of my isekai novel reading. I can't stomach most stuff the story tells me.

The author also seems to forgot the stuff written 10 chapters ago, what the heck?
Spoiler

The MC managed to defeat hundreds of goblins everyday but now he's struggling against one hundred with whole lot of adventurers and knights helping? His mp should be enough to slay thousands of normal goblins all the way to generals and it's not like he can't fight with his sword, I've even take him doing healing into consideration but just can't imagine how the heck the town got so bad with just hundreds of goblin, geez.... if the goblins attack a town in hordes.... they'd be just practice target to archers if they not come in thousands of hordes... at least that's the impression I got after reading. The story didn't mention any archers at all when yhe attack happen was the most unconvincing

It was quite decent till school arc, so around chapter 130.

Around that chapter quailty drops drastically, and masive plot holes apear.

At the same time characters become porly writen and designed, some characters that do feel important at first, randomly got forgoten bg author - and you can easly tell who is going to die next, because author dosn't bother describing characters that he plans to kill in a moment (mayb except for thier name)...

I do not recommend this novel for anyone looking for a high-level plot, the story is generic the characters lack any depth, the conversations between the characters are strangely uncomfortable in the sense that there is no sense of realism, just like the other reviews have said, you you need to turn off your brain and not think too deeply if you want to read this novel

It is the typical reincarnation in a fantasy world story, it perfectly serves it‘s purpose even if there are some flaws,

Spoiler

like the store clerk for whatever reason being so in love with him, I would understand her behavior if they were childhood friends, but they were strangers till shortly before they died

the translator somewhere wrote that you need to shut down your brain for this story and I agree with that opinion, this story is nothing complex, not even close (atleast atm)

I'm quite liking this.

Honestly, it would be even better if the author added 5 years to everyone's ages and made it so that they only regained their memories at the age of 5 and extended their growth period or something because the way they behave (and look like based on the descriptions) would fit a lot better.

I have already come across some WNs where the author (probably on the editor's recommendation) corrected it once the series was licensed by a publisher and I feel like this one could use that... more>> correction, as well. Maybe it's a WN author thing that they don't have a good grasp on ages?

Anyway, I think the story itself is pretty decent, the romance with the heroine is also okay, but because of it the harem feels forced. When the girls just randomly throw themselves at the MC, there's no real contrast, so I don't really mind that, but when there's a proper love interest, it just feels weird when the other girls suddenly get extremely attached to the MC.

The MC doesn't become OP immediately but trains his abilities in a good pace, the general flow of the story is fine, and the translation is also good, makes it an overall enjoyable reading experience.

Edit: Okay, in the later chapters (140-ish) there are some annoying incosistencies.

Spoiler

In an earlier arc, the fiancée of MC's brother lost her arm and MC managed to reattach her arm and heal her. Then a lot later MC says that the girl doesn't know that he can use holy magic. Yeah, he just performed a miracle-level healing on her...

Another one like this there's a school holiday so MC and his buddies have time to visit home. Everyone tells them to avoid a certain city because it's dangerous, MC agrees that they should definitely avoid going there, and then when they discuss possible routes, they choose to go through that city without even mentioning the risks they talked about earlier as if that conversation where they agreed not to go there never happened.
