I recommend this series because it is well written. This novel has strong Japanese anime influence even though it is from a Chinese author. I like how the novel is slow on the build up and is not particularly too boring as well. A lot of explanations but not entirely repetitive which is nice. It really does feel you are watching an anime because of the arrangement of the chapters and flashbacks. Nonetheless, I rate this at 5 stars because even if it is a cultivation-ish novel it is still... more>> refreshing to see that they don't really cultivate like wuxia and xianxia novels. <<less

First off: As with 90% of Chinese novels, the MC becomes a rapist the moment he rises up to a higher position. This would be fine if he was written as a morally gray character from the start, but he's been continuosly portrayed as a paragon of virtue who just has a decisive side. The author is the typical gross nerd who can't write realistic male-female interactions to save his life once he gets high on his own power trip.

As for the story itself, it had great promise and has... more>> a few characters who I liked, but suffers from a ton of drawn out, unnecessary, poorly placed exposition. Many chapters have huge infodumps that you can skip with literally no consequence whatsoever. The story moves at a snail's pace, and most of it can be summarized by "Fighting then looting the enemy's base to steal supplies and gold. Recruit whoever is willing to join." That's basically it.

I don't agree, however, with the reviewers who said that the early part of the story is "pointless" because the MC leaves the city anyway. It served as a great way to build up the world, explain power levels, allowed the MC to build up his wealth, and gave us the companions who come with him on the journey. In fact, I consider it the best part of the novel. A pity it eventually loses its way. <<less

Pretty hard to stomach this MC. As far as I can tell, he's pretty much the bad guy in this series. He torches down innocent villages, kills anyone who doesn't obey him, treats all women as prostit**es (the few women who aren't random villagers get knocked down a peg by him personally), has people telling him he's too forgiving of a lord as he's ordering the death of thousands, has people telling him he's so intelligent when he solves everything by soloing armies... list goes on.

Add on shallow politics and... more>> chapters dedicated to trying to pretend the author understands anything about strategy and supply chain...

This MC is impossible to relate with.

Also, regarding comments saying he's balanced because he doesn't have guns... watch what happens when he runs into 50 enemies and one of his soldiers hands him a bag with 50 javelins... <<less

This is truly one of the best novel I have read. Top 5. I don't see why there's negative reviews at all. The story was beautifully created and well written. And are actually interesting. Not like most ret*rded Chinese stories that have no in depth background and story telling style that intrigues the reader to keep reading. I swear most of the negative reviews on this novel are so ignorant about this novel and are ruining its reputation by even inputting their insulting reviews. This novel deserves a top ranking... more>> unlike the ones in the current ranking. I will continue to read and love this novel. And challenge all who see my review to do the same despite these insulting reviews that are inconceivable to be even on here. There should be delete button for these misleading reviews.

Update- This is still an awesome good read. Anyways for others like me who like this kind of genre. You should also check out "I am the monarch" and "King of the battlefield". These two are not on recommended areas for this series so I thought might as well add it here. Also check out the top five recommendations on this series especially "Release that witch", "Hail the king", "Genjitsushugisha no Oukokukaizouki", and "Bringing The Farm To Live In Another World". They're all mostly good reads. <<less

One of the few stories that I bypassed the first time seeing it due to to some harsh critics. How wrong I was!

It's an incredibly detailed story, maybe way too much sometimes, but clearly a hundred time better than the lazy stories that don't bother to lay out any lore at all. The world felt literally alive when reading it, especially as chapters are long and fulfilling.

Characters are fleshed out, interesting, and not just the MC but the whole cast is developed. Also, no ridiculous power ups just to fill... more>> up some chapters: the character gets better really naturally through the story. Finally, kudo for the quality translation.

The only things I would nitpick about is maybe about how "average" morally the MC is: don't get wrong, he isn't the pretentious jerk you see so many times in Chinese WN, but he could slightly be better I guess... also, I wish it had a better romance, with maybe a female character to upset and balance the overbearing personality of the MC, though that's just personal preference. <<less

9/10 A hidden Gem!

Cons:

-Lack of female characters. I'm talking about influential female characters. Ex. Queens, Duchess, etc.. I'm definitely not a feminist but this would have attracted more female/feminists readers. Also, It would balance out [a bit] the messed up things that women go through in this novel's setting.

Minor Con: There are some slow parts but there's also a very fast progression. So no, the story is not slow at all. The filler chapters are actually very well done. They show the world, show how MC builds an army/country, side characters point of view, the enemy point of view, etc. Yes, there are some boring parts but all novels have their boring chapters.

I tried so hard to like this because of how much I love kingdom builders, but I just can’t. It’s soooooo garbage.

It’s funny how people think non stop info dumps equates to good “world building” I could struggle through the first couple chapters of the history of the world etc, even with the mind numbing slow pace of the story I was hanging on thinking that “there’s no way it could continue for much longer.” Nope, the author proved me wrong. As soon as he’s done with writing about the... more>> history of the universe and how shitty the body the MC reincarnated into was, he goes into 10 f*cking chapters about the girl who dumped the MC whole life’s history. It’s like seriously? NOBODY GIVES A f*ck. The saddest part is I’m not even exaggerating, so s*upid. People say it “gets better” after you get past the first 50 chapters, but who has the patience to struggle through the hot garbage the author wrote? Honestly pissed me off, I had high expectations for this. <<less

This story is just plain BORING!! The MC is not a reincarnated man, his morals, mindset, actions, everything is just like a man of the Middle Ages. He was supposedly an elite military man who eventually left the military and succeeded his family business and turned it into a million dollar company. None of that is shown through the character. Intellectually, he's taken advantage of by everyone he meets, from the Dean of his school to the chick he s*upidly fell in love with (apparently, he's never been in love... more>> even though he was over 40 years old in the modern world).

The Dean tricks him by giving him coffee and then telling him all the important details at the last minute and pushing him out the door. I'm serious, that's the evil scheme of the Dean. As for his girlfriend, he gives her everything she wants, helps her found a business, then she leaves him and he still goes around sticking his nose in her business. F*cking pathetic. <<less

So here's the thing, I would like to know how the hell people like this shit.

The writing style of the author is quite rare to see, nevertheless, The story It self was filled with junk words, so just to fill up his target word content when he publish a new chapter.

They says, It will turn to better once after you finish the first 50 chapter, Nope, Hell no.

Okay, this is the only reason of how I think of why such as 'Rape' tag was born, It was... more>> probably this.

I guess on the original site where this WN were it publish, Is getting harshly criticized.

What type of flammable word is it?

They probably mock the MC or the author as a 'Gay' Shit, cuz I thought the same thing.

It was on the arc of so called 'Betrayal' of how the writer dump the MC on the most shitte way, I thought for the first this type of author has some weird fetish as such like to be cuckhold or something.

But I only realize, that he didn't wan't to start an early romance.

Then he should've never made such a shitte time skip and over exaggerated about the years, was the main shitte flaw.

Then this is the main root of the problem, this is the reason why I thought this a**hole has a shitte type of fetish.

First, the one who took MC v**ginity, was married off to a 60yr old geezer, second MC girl who betrayed him was married off to a 38yr old geezer, then what would you expect from the viewers reaction with this type of shitte mess up romance? Of course flame both MC and the Author.

But It hasn't ended there yet, MC slaughter his way back to their home, then giving away beauties, like I couldn't be bothered by them n stuff cuz still heart broken by the gal who abandoned him. While some weak reasoning stuff like he can't act like a lustful master n stuff, while In that era he live It was relatively normal.

So what do you think the readers will say to the author and mc? It is GAAAYYY SHIIIT~

Cuz he cared so much for the well being of his own so called 'Brother' while didn't even have a ball to fight back to get her own woman who is being play off.

I almost thought this sh*t might have some hidden agenda, I even check the genre and the tag carefully.

So this is the reason why, MC suddenly force a servant girl for himself, without any reason n stuff.

It was like the synonym of the author saying like, This is what you guys wanted right? Then I'll give it to you and prove the MC is a MAAN!

Really, the fault lies to the mess up setting of this shitte author, who probably doesn't realize his shitte fetish, cuz It happened not once but twice.

That's only the problem from the romance, but there's lotta more I need to rant bout...

But I am leaving It here.

P.S #Realtalk This author Is a virg*n In real life, who doesn't know a real relationship Is.

I don't know, but to how the author emphasized how b*tch or sl*t every female character Is quite weird, Idk if the author is a man or a woman. But is this realism to you? Aren't you just salty as f? Probably this author doesn't across a decent woman In his life time.

Romance - ❌

World Building - ❌ <<less

Interesting but not catchy enough for me. I rate with 2 stars and even those are for potential & world building. The writer seems amateurish as he/she tries too hard to describe things and even that's done in a heavy and awkard way as it points out useless details or too much details. The writer tries to explain things but.. Doesn't guide, nor allows the reader to make it's own opinions about facts. As a writer, you don't have to explain the actions of the characters but show them, show... more>> why they acted as such and allow them to 'live' and take decisions.

The novel has potential but it's not my cup of tea: Too much info dump, too many similar 'elements' to other novels & especially, the arhetypes & world values aren't grey as they seem but more similar to those of puppets: they think, act and 'live' only as the writer wants.

I'll modify my review when the plot builds up. Until then, i'll reflect more on the character & story - it's something that's forced on you from the first chapter... And I don't like that. <<less

Disclaimer: If you like very cliche'd XianXia novels don't this review and just skip to the book. For your mental health and my own.

Like most books on this website this story has the skeleton of a good story; unlike most stories on here it has more than that. The sad fact is, that instead of skin, organs, muscles, etc. It is like all that got partially digested and we are reading the end product. I found it easy to find pieces of the story that are complete and amazing. I... more>> also, find sludge that I can't make heads or tails of. At the very least when you start reading it isn't fully digested.

Take the exposition for example, It starts off amazing in the first chapter. The story reeks of fantasy from the word 'go'; it really got me hooked. It wasn't poorly written or translated. The quality of the translation doesn't drop, but when I got to chapter 8 and the MC had his first flash back it was incredibly frustrating. The author (s) showed that they could create an entire world without breaking the cardinal rule of exposition, NO f*ckING FLASHBACKS. (Yes there are ways to do it well, these guys did it in the worst way possible.) Seeing what this author can do made me want to read more and see if it improved. It did not, there were simply more and more flashbacks. It was like the author (s) were just f*cking with us the whole time; seeing what they could get away with. ''Well now that we have proven that we can write well and completely lets not.'' Says the first author '' What a splendid idea.'' Says the second. This leads us to the first love interest.

She is the worst kind of person, and both the author, and by extension, the MC have nothing against her.
Spoiler

The relationship between the two is incredibly one-sided, and everyone just seems to blame the MC, in some small margin, for their break-up. He has done nothing but give, and the love interest has done nothing but take.

[collapse]
The only reason you should read this book is if you are an aspiring novelist, and you want clear cut examples of good and bad exposition.

Someone has literally taken a dump on anything resembling good writing and posted it to the internet. I know very well that even sh*t stains can pass off as great writing in this community. In summary this is an objectively bad book that I know many of you who are reading this will love. I am confident to say that this is objectively bad, because two buildings can be just as beautiful as each other, but if one has a rotten foundation it is worse. As soon as someone stands in the wrong spot the whole building is coming down, and for this book that spot is chapter 8 and beyond.

(P.S. I refuse to torture myself with reading more, and yes I know how much that hurts my integrity.) <<less

After reading around 50 novels this is my all time favorite now and has solidified my favorite genre to be kingdom building. I find it has the perfect mix or realism and fantasy! My only problem is that the raws are on hiatus because the author want's to keep his story and write the way he want's too! Which only makes me love it more! One of the few books that I can't resist reading the second the new chapter comes out.

Spoiler

Like how his son killing small animals is just because he's young and doesn't disqualify him from becoming an heir, are you f*cking kidding me?! he's a psychopath...

[collapse]
resulting in constant mistakes and negligence seemingly for nothing more than trying and failing to create some kind of suspense, this is used to elevate his opponent, insinuating that it's because of their skill, while in other instances the MC performs acts of brilliance where everyone else is incompetent whenever needed to further the plot, plenty of inconsistency.

Furthermore, the MC is transmigrated from a different world, while this is used in some instances to pull him ahead in an ancient era, there are area where he's totally oblivious like statesmanship and management, the author seems to be lacking in research again.

The worst thing is how outrageous arguments are used as plot progression recently, directly limiting what the MC can and cannot do, this and the first one tells me that the author either didn't think his plot through or is desperately milking this novel for all it's worth.

-------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will try to write this without giving any spoilers, there will be hints to certain event in the novel, but I doubt it would ruin your read if you're just picking this up.

This is by far the pinnacle of kingdom building novels, no question about it, you won't find anything better out there. Everything about it is clearly well researched by the author and is very detailed, which makes it a delight to read for anyone who enjoys this genre. On the other hand you won't find any adventure-ish elements, even though the guild and everything else is clearly present, it is used to a minimal extend early on and most of his days of being an adventurer are sadly skipped.

Another thing differentiating this from other similar novels is how the MCs far superior modern day knowledge is used, he doesn't just build a gun 10 chapters in and becomes basically unrivaled, there is a logical progression with every scientific advancement made, these things are already in the world in some shape or form and it's the MCs job to unravel the basics, since the laws of nature differ from earth, these basics are then later used together with his knowledge to invent and improve things, while making sure that the MC isn't just some all knowing genius that we see in other novels.

The MC is overpowered in a way later on, but still toned down a lot which limits it to basically smaller skirmishes and duels, meaning he wouldn't be able to take on an army by himself. In the context of what this novel is about and the plot it is of minor significance.

These two later points in itself is something I find to be a huge improvement over any JP/CH/KR novel, not to mention the absence of a harem, don't get me wrong, I actually like harem novels but it isn't just mixed in there to fuel some fantasy, the novel has a clear understanding of what it is and what it's trying to say, things aren't just thrown in there to give fan service and attract readers. I won't say that the MC will only stick to a single woman, since he's a lord, which you can of course figure out from just reading the title, in a medieval setting, it would be unrealistic for him to do that. The author manages to handle this in a way that is realistic and doesn't make it into just a teenage boy's wet dream. (There are some points which I of course wished were in this novel as you can see both above and below in this review, but you have to respect that the novel sticks to what it is)

There are however three points that I am a little disappointed in, the first being the lack of any prominent female supporting characters. Seeing that he's a reincarnated MC, I would of course have liked there to be some female characters that were held down by the male-dominated society with the MC accepting them because of his difference in beliefs. The second point being how every potential enemy out there except for one suddenly turned into being complete fools in the later chapters, this smells like a way to quickly wrap up the novels with them just being steamrolled. The last point is how since his adventurer days were skipped it also means that magical beasts/monsters are given a minor role in this novel and it being all about human to human relation.

These last two points could however be resolved later since there have been hinted at other potential enemies out there besides the ones already introduced.

The rating is given for how well the novel does what it is trying to do, despite there being things I wish were included, it seems clear that it was excluded by the author on purpose because he had a clear vision, what is then a part of it is perfected to a stunning degree making it by far the best in its genre on this site. <<less

First and foremost this story is not for people who do not like a slow start. Yes the main character is reincarnated in a medieval setting but does not start implementing everything at one time which is good, second the author takes his time to develop each character third this is kind of my issue is that he doesn't have strong female leads but they are if you strong female characters and intelligent once at that. The best thing that I do like about this story is that the character... more>> is 100% apart of that time and his characteristic confirms that ideology of that time and he does not want to implement ideologies of where he came from. The only thing I do not like about the story whatsoever is the historical episodes about his future life, which takes away from the story, it would have been better if the author kept it as a surprise going forward in the story and not telling us up front <<less

This is the first time reading a web novel where I can actually feel that the MC is living a real life as opposed to having an unstoppable momentum that never ends. The MC actually lives a life that is believable and full of the little details that add a higher level of authenticity to his character. The world building and lore set up in this series is amazing thus far.
Spoiler

There is more to a fulfilling life than constant fighting and bloodshed as what is the point of having power if you can never slow down and just relax. Don't get me wrong I enjoy many other webnovels that have constant action as they get the blood pumping but it is also nice to come across a different kind of webnovel that isn't full of the same exausted tropes.

I recommend this series for those who enjoy Wuxia like Transcending the Nine Heavens (due to well thought out characters who are not 2 dimensional) and Otherworldly Evil Monarch (because of the use of modern day knowledge used well in another world).

Will update review as I progress in reading but I hope that my impressions remain the same and that there may be some good action sequences alongside the other aspects.

Update 04/02/17 c 134: Still 5 stars for me as the action has fully ramped up ever since the MC made his way back home.

A real novel :D miracle on NU, mirakurru! maybe I'll write a real review after reading to the latest chap, until then you have other reviews and my word.

Edit: here is the full review:
First a warning to those who only like the cheap web novels here, this isn't one! Well it may be a wn but not a cheap one... If you can't stand reading the backstories of characters, slowly moving plot and long descriptions this isn't for you, for example Harry Potter where it takes 500 pages to... more>> describe what happens in one year and characters have real personalities, they're also not mentally disabled as in xianxia.

We start in the middle of MC's life where he already transmigrated for no reason as usual and his former life doesn't matter other than being said he was a crafstman but that isn't of much use up to the latest chap translated for now. There are a few too many flashbacks which leads you to understanding Locke's situation after spending a few years in another world, some don't like these info dumps as they call them lol but I didn't mind. Locke, 40 in his former life and now 24 is somehow naive in his love life as he got duped by a gold digger... anyway he has funny friends which follow him on a loooong journey to become a lord of his family clan which is in dire straits. The journey is where the real plot begins (planning starts at c42 and to actually get moving ~50), it is filled with what you want "Kingdom bulding!" well it's convoy building for now but you get the picture. However due to him becoming a lord, his friends get more serious/less funny which is a shame. Latest chapters are about him finally arriving and settling the score with his enemies, building stuff... Oh almost forgot, until now there is no technology advancement, he made some useless stuff in the beginning and pretty much gave the stuff away, fck he was even giving gold away as he was living his life without ambition but luckily he had to become a lord so that changed. There are hints there will be technology developments, for now Locke is focused on defending so he doesn't have the time. Enjoy this rare jewel on NU!
Edit: I've only realised this after reading chapter by chaper since I've caught up with the latest one, it is a bit boring reading all the statistics, how many soldiers in a squad and of what type, how many kills, injured... skip read that and it's still an awesome novel <<less

Boring.

The first 21 chapters will not enthrall, intrigue or enrapture you. It's all a massive info dump that barely manages to scratch the surface of the world built into the story.

This is the synopsis:
"After his consciousness transcended worlds and entered the body of an exiled noble youth, summons arrived for him ten years later to return and succeed the title of the Lord. Faced with a desolate dominion, uneducated common folk, treacherous nobles as well as the current Lord Duke, how will he cope and thrive?"

None of it is... more>> seen in the chapters so far and according to the translator, there's still plenty to read until the main plot is set in motion. This entire entry arc is a giant pile of literary manure that's supposed to fertilize the development of the character and rationalize some of his most likely poor decisions later on. And it is very and fully boring as hell. I skipped entire paragraphs that were just fluff details and feel no loss whatsoever. These entire 21 chapters would've been only 4 or 5 in any other novel of the same subject.

Why did I leave 4 stars for the review then? Exactly because of it.

This review is as much a criticism for the inflated 21 chapters and some more on the way, as it is expectation for the story as a whole. The world building, the character development, the storytelling, I have expectations that it will all be richly expanded and bring forth a sentiment of fulfillment. This isn't something to be read chapter by chapter, but arc by arc.

So, if you are not someone who can stand a slow start and a whole lot of pointless fluff, it's best you don't stress yourself. However if you like chapters with plenty of details for each moment and thought, then this is the good stuff you've been looking for.

So far. <<less

Its a little bit r*pey, the main character gives away women to his men and he forced himself on one of the female main characters, the author does bullsh*t such as the main character being incredibly under cultivated but is able to take on Blade masters. Its incredibly s*upid, there's parts where the convoy the main characters friends are leading gets over 1 million people and somehow being able to feed EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM not only that but to add more bull sh*t the main character pillages and loots a duke and takes ALL OF HIS POPULATION which is more than 1 million people I believe, the main character needlessly kills animals that were defending their children despite it being his mens fault (Which happens a lot) he's also extremely arrogant while dishonoring his heritage and ancestors.

He also doesn't annexes the dukes lands which is quite questionable, basically the main character is basically the genghis khan, raping women, handing women off to his subordinates and killing innocents. You'll get extremely frustrated with this if you don't like history dumping, in a matter of days he also provides shelter for all of his people and constructed a harbor and a small fleet shortly after the 1 million people is added to his population, he doesn't take responsibilities for his actions and can sometimes be quite sexist. He's also a cuck as he let's his ex go, ruin his room and let's her kiss him, not only that but he helps her indirectly by giving him his business and all the models for his dresses. That part extremely frustrated me and pissed me off. As of right now the main character has r*ped basically 2 women, he forced himself on what you would basically call a nun and his maid. Will definitely increase if the story keeps going as it is.

As a wise man once said "Exposition should be woven seamlessly into the narrative by integrating it naturally into the story and spreading it out over the course of several chapters to allows the reader to more easily absorbs (and actually care about) the information"

The author clearly never heard of this saying, that's why he starts the novel with a bunch of info dump and just throw exposition everywhere! And the worst part is that the information is actually interesting but because it was delivered very poorly I can't even... more>> care about them! Wow, what a huge waste of opportunity! And to top that off the pacing is really weird! The story itself is pretty damn good imo, but the author keeps on jumping in the timeline unnecessarily

Spoiler

Jumping in timeline, flashback, and stuff is perfectly fine! If done correctly that is :S

another saying "Tell but not show" is actually pretty acurate to describe the first 30 chapters and just the author in general I guess :P

so at first I was wondering why the author decided to start the story at the present in which the MC is 24 years old instead of at earlier age, I thought it was because he is tired of the general isekai novel where they usually start at as early as baby or early teen and instead jump into the already adult MC so that we could skip the boring part and start with the interesting one instead like some other novel, for example Running Away From The Hero! Etc, but I was wrong. So instead of actually telling the story and let the reader experience the MC life of when he gets reincarnated and growing up, the hardship, the confusion of the MC, other characters reaction, and other interesting bits is just not there, or at least it wasn't well presented because the author decided to just throw a lot of info dump about the MC past with unnecessary detail, makes me wonder why the author didn't just start the story from when he was still a teenager instead since it is such a waste of potential

[collapse]

The novel is just getting started and I already feel disappointed, the prologue was interesting and early chapter set my expectation rather high but that's it, 50 chapters in and I didn't feel much at all, there is no excitement, joy, sadness, only mild curiosity keeps me going, the info dump is tiring but I tried to ignore it and focus on the good part, which is barely there, and there is another problem with the lack of research and knowledge about the technical stuff, like for example how the author thought that stainless steel is a good metal to make a weapon and armor for war and stuff, it made me do a facepalm, but that is not a deal breaker since I'm used to it and it was not the main point of the story, but after 100 chapters in, I decided that I have had enough

Spoiler

God knows why the MC decided to r*pe his maid, I'm totally fine with r*pe if it adds to the story but there is a lack of consistency in the MC's behavior and I just cannot wrap my head around it, f*ck this shit, I'm out

[collapse]

the pace is really slow so far but I heard it's getting better later on but I don't care anymore at this point, if you can ignor all of the flaw and could geniunely enjoy this novel, good for you, I just cannot stand it <<less

A good novel, really.

To summarize my chatter below, read it if you're in for some serious read. Well it got lighter along the way, but still. It has kingdom building, political struggle, strategic battle, medieval drama and sidecharacters are not just some fools.

To summarize it further, what should I compare it to? Game of Throne? Sorry, haven't read the novel. Harry Potter? Yeah, the start has that kind of writing style. Hmm, maybe Amber Sword with no game status and more kingdom management? Dungeon Defense with fewer superdark characters, less... more>> dramatic buildup and more action army battle? I stopped reading it halfway, but Realist's Strategist with more realistic fiction fantasy medieval character interaction (kind of Game of Throne-ish, yeah kind of with ish) and less cooking or other entertainment shows?

Well, it has slow progression at the start with a western novel kind of feel. But the details fleshed out is quite beautiful, so I don't think it's gonna be a problem and even a plus if you are the type of ppl who like to read heavy stuffs. The latter on is fast and can be seen as repetitive, but there are always some details and new smart plot progression making them different than the usual abuse of conflict plot where the enemy is just stronger than before.

I've gotta say most of the kingdom management problem or political struggle and society issues kinda makes sense in that kind of world making this story kind of real and not just a simple writing of an author but have done with respect and careful study. Sure I've got some problem with health issues of the convoy, but hey.

The best thing about this novel is that most of the character is fleshed out, even the enemy, making them not just a simple cannon fodder for the MC. Yes, later on we start to have a lot of cannon fodder but at least they show some kind of inteligence making this novel to have some depth in it. The MC is strong, seems OP at the start but still in the realm of human possibilities in that world.

Eventhough to be truthful I think there're some kind of changes in the type of writing, it still has a really good plot and story. I've gotta agree with coyote, the progress of power and cultural technology is not absurd and abused like the usual modern ppl reincarnated story. So yeah, good job author. Also I kind of agree with rustic soldier with how horrible they kind of now, I've just gotta say look at the situation, babe. It's war and most of it is not the one they start. Many innocents have already been suffering, at least he's also saving many more by making a save space in his realm. Their situation is not the one they can control after all. It's war of the 3 kingdoms, with some duchies, a lot of counts and barons with other countries medling and going to join soon enough.

The only problem I have with the story is just the plot of him and that one barbarian woman. It's just, why does it have to be like that, I know I don't know what it feels to be used like that but still. Other thing is just the problem I have with the people, higieny and health problem, but maybe in that world with body reinforcement, sickness is not a problem at all. Also the problem with gunpowder, I just think of how convenient. Like, really? Hope it doesn't change the style of war too much. Well, with how war and skirmish have been depicted before, I think it won't be a problem for the author to make it believable. I can't remember any other problem cz it's been 2 months since I finished binge read it and I haven't started to read the story for the 2nd time.

Also kudos for the translators, awesome work u have done here. I'm grateful, really... <<less
