spoilers reveal that the new chosen ML r*ped our FL in one her QT but that's OK because he read her mind and totally loves her?!? Like WTF I couldn't drop this harder if I tried!

The FL drugged and r*ped him and it's understandable because the FL has been harassing him for 15 years! Do we really expect r*pe victims to interact peacefully with their suspected rapist? If the lack of empathy is because he's male then that says everything about what kind of person you are. As far as I read including spoilers this info is yet to be discussed so OG ML still blames FL

I also think some people reading seem to have a misunderstanding? The female lead did not r*pe the og ML (chen or shen wang). It was the og female lead (meng yiran) who drugged him and then she somehow got him into bed with su nuo.

The low ratings given because of this are rather unfair in my opinion. They also give the wrong impression.

I think the way the FL (su nuo) is portrayed before transmigration is just a very traumatized and scared person. The reason she pestered her ex-fiance (og ml) is because she truly desired affection and was scared to death (welp literally) of losing it.

This explanation of her personality is pretty good to me, and I also understand why he would dislike her, even without meng yiran. I sympathize with shen wang, because his parents were always playing favorites.

His ending is reasonable to me, not because I think he "deserves" punishment for being a kid who didn't like his sister. But because he chose the end himself.

To the very end, he had trouble accepting responsibility for his actions and their consequences. Like when she was kidnapped as a child and he ignored her. When she did her best to be good to him but he hated that.

It's not the fl, su nuo's, fault that his parents were unfair. She did her best to be good to him and even afterwards, after she realized he treated her horribly, she never "took revenge" on him. She just moved on.

However, he couldn't, he got trapped in his own emotions. And stayed that way for the rest of his life.

He also harassed her (not in a cute way, like a dragging forceful way), and kidnapped her in the later chapters btw.

He probably falls straight into the yandere line of male leads. Can't say he's my personal favourite, but he's okay to me.

He treats her pretty well in the novel, and it's later revealed that he helped her several times (most of the time?) while she was quick transmigrating.

He doesn't step in immediately whenever she has issues, he seems to respect her ability to solve problems very much.

To be very honest, I'm not quite sure why he likes her... The way he described falling in love with her was more like "she was unusual, bang lost my heart". And I was just: ???

Although I did MTL, so I could've missed something.

Shen family first, she was raised very delicately by them for most of her life in the beginning. They are portrayed as having good intentions but wrong methods. They love both their son (shen wang, og male lead) and the fl, however their parenting plays a large part in hurting them both.

I don't have much feelings for them, they don't really seem to do too much.

The fl's original family is, at first, said to be money grubbing and basically evil, but we quickly find out they're just good people in a bad situation.

The fl's original parents are every caring to her, love her very much, and try to treat her well when she returns. The fl's 2 younger brothers, on the other hand, flip out. Although, at the end, they warm up to her.

The FL is originally quite cold to her family. Even though it's not their fault she was abandoned at the orphanage (it's the grandma's fault), she still feels a lack of connection to them and is quite distant. She is slowly warming up, but really slowly.

This changes drastically when her mother is found to have cancer. She further realizes their importance and eventually fully accepts them.

I thought this part of the story was quite good, although I really hated the cliche act of having her miss her mother's death because shen wang was holding her phone away from her. If it were me in that position, I'd be doing bear tackles to get the phone away from him. For someone who went through 10 lifetimes, girl couldn't you be a bit more fierce??

Now, the character I adore the most. Her older brother Yuan Ze is the absolute best. He's flawed and fiery but you never doubt his care. I honestly wish he was the ml, he is crazy but crazy cool at the same time. Unfortunately he doesn't get enough time spent on him.

If you haven't seen this trope before... You might've been born yesterday lol.

This is the extraordinarily standard - the FL got in a car accident, and boom memory loss.

It is hinted that this is the world of the novel trying to get back to the original path. Which, okay, kinda makes sense. But I feel like the author just wanted to give the FL a chance to rewrite her youth.

The amnesia is not so much plot drama, as it is a chance for su nuo to comfort her inner child. It's not really an obstacle to her relationship to the male lead.

Instead, he uses it as a chance to get close to her and rewrite bad memories.

I personally don't really mind this. It wasn't well executed but I thought it was actually a pretty okay concept.

There was always a part of the FL before that didn't seem to come to terms with falling in love again or finding out that she had family who loved her. This is common amongst people with emotional trauma, it's difficult to trust in the love others give and it's very hard to lower your guards to accept it.

I think this part was meant to give closure to her, and while badly executed, its goal was in the right place.

From spoilers, it seems indeed shen wang's ending is really bad. Furthermore, it seems that after getting to know MYR's situation she's quite pitiful as well. Personally, I don't like authors that absolutely villainizes and utterly punishes everyone against the MC because I feel this is just shallow writing. Also, based on spoilers, it seems that ML's character just makes MC a total damsel in distress that needs someone else to help her complete tasks. I won't talk about his raping her because based on that setting I can't blame her, but I hate that MC became a helpless white flower.

Zhao Yunqing, her senior brother, that film emperor guy. He also happens to be the reincarnation of the tyrant prince that MC was "gifted" to in the first transmigration. He actually appears in all 10 of her transmigrations, following her and helping her complete her missions.

- the fake heroine has to stomp on the MC to return to her own world.

- the ML seems to have quick transmigrated with the MC and MC has loathed him at least in one life. She's obviously got some kind of trauma from it although it hasn't been entirely explained yet.

- MC and the original ML had s*x when they were BOTH roofied (Veronica Mars, anyone?). While I understand while he would feel disgusted, I am disgusted by him for not believing her. But then again he basically shrugged when she got kidnapped and got stabbed because of him.

1) He's hot 2) She's human 3) People have basic needs. And well in her ten transmigrations, she had regular interc**rses in some of them so she'd definitely know what she's missing.
