Rather than sweet, I got a mouthful of dog blood every arc. And the ending is not necessarily that teeth-shattering sweetness (but it does make you sigh out of relief and give you peace of mind).

Seriously I feel kind of cheated because of the title (it should be 'Full of misunderstandings, but short' imo).

The 2nd and 3rd arc, especially the former do made me tear up a little, but let's pretend I hadn't said that.

The first two arc start with misunderstanding and kind of angst, but everything will clear on the last two chapter of each arc haha so basically the pattern is : misunderstanding - the backstory of the misunderstanding - the climax when one realized the truth - misunderstanding cleared - happy ending! Each arc has 7 - 9 chapters.

Just as the title sweet and short three stories. Maybe not necessarily that much sweet because there are some misunderstandings, angst and so on. But still my heart is so warm and sweet because at the end love was able to overcome all the bad things. I especially liked it because author told the story in both perspectives.

sweet, although short lives up to its name; these are short stories that are really short, very easy to read in one sitting. Overall, it's fairly average. These stories are all centered around misunderstandings, which is a guilty pleasure of mine lol. The only story I have problems with is the third story.

1. sorry, i've fallen for you (3/5) - this was cute. Frustrating, but cute. It's the most enjoyable and shortest out of the three. It's also a bit unexpected, although it's fairly obvious that they will end up, I still had my own doubts.
2. the seven year itch felt a bit sweet (2.5/5) - the epitome of miscommunications! I wanted to rip their hairs out--i mean, they're MARRIED! They still did not grapple the idea of COMMUNICATING for 7 years??? But it's sort of cute in the end, but yes, it was frustrating.
3. because I love you (1.5/5) - this has a tw for implied sexual assault and child abuse that was uncomfortably lenient, so immediate deduction of points. The other points deducted are just from the fact that this was the least enjoyable story. (Sigh).

I'm always bias towards bl stories so despite the cliché plots, I give 4 Stars!

This is good lie, because instead sweetness you will get sadness. I think every chapter was a bit angst.

Conclusion: Everywhere lie, sweet story can be sorrowful story. All characters of this novel is s*upid idiots, which can't just speak with his crush. Anyway it's was fun and cute.

What is with the "sweet fluff" nonsense??? The third story was straight up terrible. I'm not going to spoil anything, but don't delude yourselves. It's this bizarre, messed up part of BL novels that really irks me- and the way readers interpret it. Whatever.

Edit: just want to say that Game Loading is one of my favorite novels, so it's not like I'm trying to hate on this author

I love Long Qi and I love dog blood so this was a pretty fun and quick read. If you came here purely for fluff I wouldn’t read as it’s much more in line with melodramatic one shots purely driven by misunderstandings. The only reason why I gave it a 3.0 was because of the third (and last) story. I really just am not a fan of stories where one character is clearly uncomfortable with the other but is then forced by others into falling in love, It’s just always... more>> made me feel icky.
