7 chapters so far (1 per week) and this rebirth story happens in modern life. Its refreshing that for once, the new talents of divination can explain (besides the rebirth) how much the ML knows about things and people.

Give it a try ! Nicely translated and wrote, I can say that the story will develop well.

This is one of the best modern day cultivation novels that I have ever seen. This is coming from a guy that doesn't like reading novels with female MC's. This is my favorite female MC novel. Also dont listen to aattss review. I dont even know what he's talking about. The translation is not bad and I had no problems reading it.

I can tolerate some amount of using excuses made by real life quacks in your world-building, but "magnetic" and "magic" are different words. I shouldn't have to compare the author of a WN to juggalos. It's the sort of thing that ticks off anyone who actually knows how magnetic fields work, or at least knows that magnetic fields are defined phenomena that can be experimentally observed in the physical world, as opposed to magic.

Don't waste your time reading this. It starts good, but it goes downhill with the mc's IQ.

The MC is a genius in everything she does but it's just too goddamn s*upid at the same time. It's like someone with GM privileges still afraid to get out of beginner village.

And it's like she has a "how to see sh*t is coming - for dummies" in her hands but still... let sh*t happen that would take a 1+1 calculation effort to evade it.

The worst one was her master's problem. First, the guy was nearing 130 years old, damn, this is way off expiration date. She knew he was going to die (from being old!) but she just refused to accept it and kept crying. The guy was OK with his time coming up but she was just in denial and tried to stuff the old man with lots of nourishment to prolong life. Poor guy.

And she was obsessed with him living in the triple digits because yada yada her past life she lost everyone dear to her and could not bear being "alone" > Look, look, what's that? It looks like a family! Ohhhh mc's family. Too bad they are safe and sound [until MC courts death] but even if they are there for emotional support she goes mental breakdown even if her goldfish sneezes.

And then her master went strange. It was like he held a sign all the time hanging in his neck saying "yo I'm probably possessed?". She had the signs, had companions that were like master books to teach and guide her on what she needed buuuuut she let the poor guy get screwed up because she is this s*upid!

Her family too were hitting bags for her s*upidity. Every single f*cking time there was a villain doing villain things and aiming for her and hit her family, she was like giving them only warnings with "cold eyes" and 99x extra lives so they could jump as much as they wanted until she could not "bear it anymore" :

"bruh don't bully my family or you'll regret it!"

"bruh wtf this is the last time don't waste my patience!"

"bruh this is the last time!"

"bruh now I'm kinda getting mad and its the last warning!"

"... bruh now it's the real real last time!"

*family finally got hit hard and something is broken, probably bones*

"OK you little motherf*cker, now I'm mad and I'm sending my ghosts to scare you, make you piss your bedsheets, and be scared of sleeping without lights on!"

... and there you go. If you see it in the angle of the novel's lore, killing or even really hurting real bad guys won't be a sin and sometimes even merit. All the other masters in the novel are ruthless and just go on living the thug life spending like tycoons. She has the power to simply delete things but she can't be extravagant, can't indulge and can't even punish those that are bad with what they deserve because, uh, "backlashes".

There is a family that does bad things from the beginning to the end for years and it took to deplete her Mary Sue meter for her to take action. And if she did nothing they would be still living their villain's life to the fullest. The backlashes and whatnot restrictions look like they only exist to her. It's ridiculous.

And also besides being dumb she is timid asf. Not romantically but in everything else, in general. And with her family, it's like it gets an exponential multiplier on dumbness+cowardy. She is afraid of losing the ppl dear to her because of her last life yada yada. But the thing is that she is SO afraid that they get screwed up because she was too busy being timid/scared/crying to do something. Her poor master has it the worst.

Aaaaand we have the asspull ML that brain-dead loves the MC because uhhh... yes? Like he is born programmed to love her and even with rebirth lore it became weird. And asspulls kills when she needs it. And even remotely. Innovative. But he doesn't show up that much, this is a relief. If you look at another angle two brain dead individuals are a really good match so the romance it's OK. It's brain-dead anyways.

All in all, it feels like her rebirth is a waste of resources. Give those cheats to anyone half decent and you'll have a legend. One of the worse mc's I've had the displeasure to read. And I tried to give this a chance because I like the theme.

PS: And what about the full chapters all describing Feng shui. Really? Is this a novel or a brochure in hiding? Or is this thing a copy+paste from a wiki to fill in words? It's ok to talk about Feng Shui and Daoism. But to describe each concept in a full chapter and half? A bottom note or a wiki reference would be way better. It sometimes looked like just filler to cash in words. <<less

Not bad and not that good too.

I actually like the idea, and the story is nice too. Mind me I went and machine-translated it for a couple hundreds chapters, but like other reviews say I too found some problems that made me drop it:

MC halo is too strong, she can make anyone fall in love with her from any age even when she is 5 years old, no one hates er, and if they do it's always because they are unreasonable and vicious.

A bit too much gloom and death, there... more>> are happy moments, but the overall impression is important

Massive info dumps about feng shui, it seems a novel-like manual ?

Not scared of hideous ghost with blood and whatever, but scared of snakes and insects

All in all it reminds me of those trasmigration novels with mob protagonists and scumbag MC that poses as a white lotus.

Dear MC, if you already have a man, let other men find their own love. Why must you be the only important female in the novel?

These are the bad points, but it's still a nice read, the feng-shui theories are accurate-sounding even if totally weird for those that have no idea of what it is. <<less

It was interesting enough, as even though she has a bajillion cheats she isn't always able to thwart fate, but what I couldn't stand was why all the MLs were so old?! She's 5 for the first 40 chapters, and at least one of them rejects his future wife for her, pretty creepy.

So far so good? I am a little turned off by the relatively consistent gloomy atmosphere in the story, possibly due to the constant mention of death and stuff like that. Plus the constant danger of that US feng shui master and the possession of her master that she hasn't realized yet. Also, I am also a bit weirded out by how basically every man, single or not, under the age of 40 seems to have amorous feelings for the MC. Like the MC halo shouldn't be that intense right? MTL is actually pretty good, though I definitely skimmed a lot bc there's a bunch of explanations about the feng shui concepts that I'm not too interested in bc I'm not superstitious at all. Paused to read something slightly happier, hopefully.

Just finished reading this. Love the book. Very worthy reading. The MTL is easy to understand as well. My only complain is the MC is sometimes really childish when it comes to the second maleleads in the story. Like Song Xuan at first, she hope that they maintain a master-student relationship but when he married his wife and finally stop seeing her (with joy-like a crush) she felt uncomfortable and feel like her toy been taken away from her. The TOY word really make me uncomfortable. The same thing she... more>> felt towards Min Gang and Xuehu- when she imagine them love somebody else (which they didn't until the end of the story). And there's ML's background as part of a gang? (Mtl) I thought the author will elaborate more of his background but turns out there's nothing special to it. It's just to make him more 'mysterious', I've imagine countless of times when will his subordinates appeared and called MC sister in law ? And the thing is this 'background' is so unnecessary. SMH. But anyway apart from that I got nothing else to complain. It's a great book! I'm on my way to find another novel from the same author! Hope not to disappoint! ❤️ 5stars from me!!! GREAT WORK AUTHOR-SAN!

P/S. To those people who feel annoyed about the whole 'superstition', this world has a monk and their belief. It's superstitious for you but not for the people believing. I suggest you not to read any novel that # with daoism. <<less

I was happy discovering this novel which have different style than the others... But the story is bit gloomy... 8 don't like stressful novels where it's dark for me.. Also there this part I hate about MC where she find poor family and trick them to get precious antique that cost 100 millions yuan for 3000 yuan.. while doing it she hear the guy coughing so she decide to heal him and justify herself taking the antiqueand even act as goddess.. Then later when they find out they got tricked... more>> she give back th money but the auther try to show that they are bad for doing that and even hint they will receive misfortune from it.. Which I find something annoying. If It happened to me I would be very angry and sad... It show MC being greedy which should have earned her negative karma or what ever that stuff... also this story focus too much on superstition and make me feel irritated how everything is related to arrays and all that bullsh*t arrangement controlling everyone life.. It is so s*upid to me for reading about how to get wealth there is spell.. For studying there spell.. For every little detail can be solved and all related to MC magical stuff.. It make me feel everyone need a master following him like a shadow because everyone MC meet have negative evil energy that exist everywhere.. so if you don't get irritated by how superstition magic can fix everything in life then I do advise reading it... <<less

I really want to like this story more but can't get past some of the hangups.

First, the MC is one of those morally grey people. While she says she is all for keeping a certain balance, her actions always tend toward f*cking up other people for small things. Granted, some of the things she does feel right for certain people, but others are just so out of balance it makes you wonder when her retribution will come into play.

Second, the romance is really off-putting to me at the moment. No... more>> real building into it, just a sudden, BAM, guess this is my fated partner. I dislike the way that the 'romance' is forced and awkwardly pegged. Sure, the romantic interests seem to just suddenly fall for her but at least let her build into it.

Lastly, the author seems to really want to keep the philosophical points as genuine as possible, but it ends up just being large info dumps of esoteric bullsh*t that reads more like a summary of some religious papers instead of part of the story itself. <<less

No bad, but not good either. The chapters wording doesn't flow as nicely as I would like. And the grammar has some problems too. So although its a nice premise and the synopsis seems intresting I will put it on hold for when im really bored and have nothing to read.

So this novel is on pause for a bit.

It's not what I was expecting, because I went off the cover rather than the blurb. It's an interesting mix of light-hardheartedness with a dark overtone. The author uses time skips often, which I appreciate - it skips over the mundane tasks of daily cultivating and makes the results far from instant.

As others have mentioned, it's creepy how every male seems to hold romantic intentions towards her, especially if their first meeting was when she was five (antique dude, I'm looking at you). From the MC's perspective this isn't as... more>> creepy, because mentally she's a 28 year old woman, but objectively it's just... smh.

Overall, looking forward to more updates of this! <<less

This is my partial review for now.

-Easy to understand the translation.

-MC knows that she still need to improve herself. Not being proud to much because of the ability she got.

-a variety of event, which a first time for me.

-Specially this divination.

Usually the story goes about being an alchemist.

Now a diviner. So I really hope that there would have a more translated.

- not short or too long the chapter.

I'll wait for more.

Hm.. this story is really interesting. Its different from others. Its the first time I read something about daoism, feng shui,... etc. curious about the ML (male lead) I just hope it will keep on translated. Pleasee.. do not stop translating this story... love it soo much.

Bad 'romance' kills it for me. S*xual assault is not romantic, and the pe*o vibe is just gross. Especially since despite being a cultivating kung-fu master, all her powers fail to work when her chosen creep invades her home and pins her to the bed. She goes from kung-fu master to helpless victim. It makes no sense, it's creepy and predatory rather than romantic. Ugh.

A good premise with a nice translation. Although it is lacking a bit in terms of action, one can see the story is just beginning.

Plot:

Quite interesting premise involving rebirth as a child and supernatural powers.

+ protecting loved ones and correcting mistakes

+ no childishness (FL is rather indifferent)

+ superpowers (divination, Feng Shui, curses, talismans, medicine)

+ revenge on family branches that were bullies (really evil)

+ well done introduction of characters from past life

+ FL is emotional sometimes and makes mistakes

+/- FL is OP (I like it, others might not) when it comes to powers and tad too easily convinces people to follow her

- sad part about Song person whose life changed due to meeting her compared to past life

he fell for her soul - no pe*o - but he realized they were not meant to be which actually made him not marry his gentle wife from previous life. It was really sad, but there was nothing that could be done as emotions can't be forced

The story is really interesting so far and I really like modern rebirth stories. It's very different to other rebirth stories where they only want revenge and the 'love of their life'. I hope more people can get onto translating it

It has great potential she just keep talking like she is a six year old child of whichever what happened was totally unfair even though she broke rules and was a charlatan which makes me unable to continue to read. If ya don't mind that tone you might rlly like that story I just cannot get past it.
