No one has written a review yet? Damn this is actually a really interesting and unique story. I'm so happy the translation continue after such long hiatus!! I'll let some chalters pile up before i'll read it again. Since it has a romance genre I wish MC will somehow had her happy ending, will we have ML here? I wonder.. Though there is a guy who seems to be a possible ML. But this is also a horror novel so I won't put many faith on the romance part :... more>> ( <<less

I do not usually comment but I would give the credit that this story deserves.

The development of the personalities is done with delicacy and intensity, you can be frustrated with the actions of the protagonist, however, does all the feeling in the course of the story. Remember, they are mentally fragile people who are trapped in a limbo because of their traumas.

The protagonist of this story manages to get past this in her guilt and intense pain, the best parts is when she loses control of what she is feeling... more>> and this is very well developed.

Apart from the place and the other characters that are set, I'm very curious to know if all the answers will be answered until the end. <<less

This novel is epic so far! It's refreshing to read a female lead that doesn't have the attitude of white lotus that constantly relies on golden fingers to solve all the situation she messed up because apparently using your brain does not exist in most of the female novels I have read so far! This novel deserves more than 3 stars!! I hate how people underrate such a good novel (Q.Q) it makes me cry as a reader who seeks thrills and other high-ends emotion from novels

First things first, I don't get those 17 1-star ratings that just ruin the impression. I'm inexplicably glad that I first stumbled upon this story at the Volare site and only then got here to add it to RL. Otherwise, I'd have just missed a good read because of this embarrassing rating (who would want to read a 3-star story if there are so many better out there?). Khem. My point is, the rating here is misleading and I'm glad translators keep up their work despite the story being underappreciated.... more>> Thank you!

On the same note, translation quality is good (in 54 chapters I found only 1 sentence I'd have rather rephrased) and it's enjoyable to read.

As for the story. It's a horror story with a well-thought-out world-building and characters that you can relate to (despite their eh, deficiencies and tendencies). That Split Zone is cool and freaky, somewhat like hellish limbo. The further in the story, the deeper the characters are. The main cast is definitely fleshed-out, others are on the periphery and don't really need much weight placed on them (perhaps, yet, and later they'd join the MC). The story might begin somewhat confusing and unappetizing, but soon it picks up, and ohohoho, keep your seatbelts on.

MC is... a likable escapist with a quite a bit of psychological baggage. In the synopsis, it's said she suffered from some harmless psychiatric illness at first, yet ended up in the psychiatric ward after killing her senior, whom she's been crushing on for years. But the feeling you get is that it's not that simple. There are times you want to sympathize with her, some times you just want to grab her shoulders and beat some sense into her, but that's the way humans are, and so is she.

The suspense in the story is also on a good level, keeps you waiting for more and that spooky feeling is all around, you know?

As for the ML. I believe that ML is set from the start and even though there would be some heart-wrenching, tear-inducing, and hate-producing parts, I believe with such a thorough setting, he's the one (melikes, meapproves). And definitely not that Gao-senior or his look-alike.

I'm only at 54th chapter (need a break, my poor heart needs some good loving), but seeing the pitiful situation of the novel I just couldn't pass by and leave without a review. Anyway, if you don't like horror stories, don't read -> don't rate, or if you do leave a review, why. ### <<less
