Shi Feisha and Isefel

• • MC and ML

• • So slowburn to the point that I don't even know when they started having feelings for each other. I realized it when I noticed how often MC started seeking the ML at his room or the pool.

• • This CP somewhat reminds me of Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji from Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation: Feisha's mischievous pranks and Isefel's compliance to Feisha's prodding. WWX and Feisha are very capable in their own right, but it's cute how they find comfort and protection from their hubbies!

Hughes and Gin

• • The most comedic pairing and the most well balanced couple. This pairing gets so much attention that I could almost regard this as the main pairing. Every major conflict (plot) involves this pairing as a crucial focus.

• • Although this CP is the bu*t of a lot of jokes and comedic moments (particularly over their s*x life since Gin is very open about it), there's a lot of mature aspects to the CP. The dynamic of this couple is like that of a modern couple. They live together. Their personalities fit together. Healthy s*x life (a lot of it, no explicit smut scenes). Like any other couple, they get into couple spouts and have their way of making up (*cough* aka. make up sex!)

Darhk and Asa

• • Not a fan of this pairing since I'm not a fan of either character.

• • Lightly implied. Darhk only appeared once in this novel around chapter 5.
    MC hinted at it after Darhk left, but this pairing was pretty much forgotten as soon as it was over.

• • The second time we hear of the Darhk and Asa pairing, they became leader and vice-president of the independent faction of the Titan clan. Meaning they became enemies of Noah Ark and our darling MC, so that killed whatever sentiment I had of this potential CP.

Dea and Almedande

• • One of the first major conflicts started with this pairing, specifically by Almedande's younger brother who opposed the relationship. Although the conflict set off with Almedande's appearance, the MC and Gin were the most proactive figures in the conflict. We don't actually see much of Dea and Almedande themselves during this conflict which was frustrating

• • One of the most upsetting things about this CP is that despite the conflict being centered around this CP, this CP is overshadowed by the Gin|Hughes pairing. It's not until the couple spouts between Gin|Hughes resolves that the focus shifts to Dea|Almedande in which the MC helps resolve the misunderstandings very quickly.

• • Dea and Almedande pretty much disappear from the novel as soon as they get together so we never get to see how their relationship develops outside the MC's influence. *shrugs*

Shamal and Jesse

• • The most explicit smut scene in the novel features this CP. *winks*

• • Some people may find controversy over that scene since Jesse admitted that he deliberately made Shamal intoxicated. However, I found that scene very heartfelt because Shamal let go of his bottled up feelings after he drank the wine and Jesse also opened up his feelings too. The incident with the smut scene and wine intoxication made Shamal realize their feelings for each other.

• • One aspect of this pairing that struck me the most was how much Shamal changed because of the upbringing of his strained relationship with Jesse. When he first appeared around chapter 40, he was such a bubbly chatterbox and so attached to the MC. It was sad to see such a cute and innocent character become so withdrawn and depressed after his encounter with Jesse.

Metatron and Mammon

• • The two never appear together as Metatron has stayed in isolation in Noah's Ark throughout the novel. Metatron makes brief appearances a 4-5 times and Mammon only appears once.

• • Only vaguely implied in the extras when we see Mammon exhibit a strong reaction to Feisha briefly mentioning Metatron, but the topic ends as soon as it appears.

• • One commentator said that there was a novel that focuses on this pairing and said it was boring. He/she didn't say the name of the novel and there doesn't seem to be a translation

• • Mammon's reaction to Metatron's name was really unexpected. Metatron has such a warm and tranquil personality in contrast to Mammon's devilish and mischievous personality.
    The sneak peak of the pairing sparked my interest enough to try to find the novel, but I can't find it so....*sigh*

Lunacy Syndrome

• Considering that this was the longest lasting conflict of the novel, you would expected this to be the highlight amongst all the drama. But nooooo, it was completely caste aside and forgotten.
• Throughout the novel, especially in the beginning, the issue with the spreading disease called Lunacy Syndrome. This topic was consistently brought up and we saw an escalation in the spreading disease. It was so severe that it instigated the meeting of the world leaders.
• However, this matter was pushed aside and overshadowed by the Genesis revolt. So we never find out if they managed to find a solution to the epidemic. If they did, it was never explained.

Locktini's unrequited love

• It upsets me how Locktini was cast aside when his feelings for Feisha became known.
• Locktini is quite a sad character. He was labeled a traitor by his older brother, Almedande, and was rejected to the point of cutting ties by Feisha.
• Despite what he did to Dea and his unreasonable interference in Dea and Almedande's relationship, I quite like him. His gestures of love for Feisha was really cute. What really struck me was his brotherly love for Shamal, the third brother. Even though he was rather mean to Shamal in their first interaction in the novel, Locktini didn't hesitate to protect Shamal when he was in danger. He even pushed aside his pursuit for Feisha when Shamal was kidnapped by Jesse.
• He first appeared around chapter 35 when he met Feisha.
  He appeared again around chapter 60 specifically to court Feisha when he entered Noah's Ark as a guest. Feisha became aware of Locktini's feelings around ch. 70 during the Genesis revolt and tried to avoid him the entire time. Locktini disappeared afterwards and never met Feisha again since Isafel made Shamal stay as the faire representative specially to keep Locktini away.

Antonio

• The biggest disappointment considering his strong presence.
• As the former Werewolf Patriarch, he was the most emotional and passionate about resolving the Lunacy Syndrome that plagued his clansmen. I had expected him to become a more prominent character as the matter with Lunacy Syndrome escalated but since the whole thing was forgotten,
• Antonio had such a strong presence in the novel, yet remained as just a distant minor character. We never get a chance to get familiar with Antonio on a personal level (partially because he's a lonesome and reserved character) since Feisha never talked to Antonio on a personal level. Even Metatron was closer to Feisha than Antonio. Most of their interactions is usually comedic and casual.
• We never really get a feel for Antonio's true feelings. We can only speculate based on his behavior and background. We never found out how Antonio felt towards Dea and Shamal. It was noted that Antonio only really interacted with Dea and pretty much lost his conversation partner when Dea left for Almedande.
• He was the most proactive character in dealing with the Lunacy Syndrome. He suffered Almedande's wrath because of Feisha's matchmaking attempts to pair him with Dea. He was guilt-tripped by Feisha into giving Shamal a cold bath when Feisha inadvertently gave Shamal a laced pepper bottle. He prepared a welcome feast for Feisha at the end of the novel.
• Antonio is a really honorable, reliable, and highly disciplined, but stoic character. He's proficient in his work as the hotel's chef. He was really worried for his clansmen because of the Lunacy Syndrome and brought the issue to Isafel and was willing to risk his safety to help his clansmen. When Shamal farted (lol), Antonio was very considerate did not avoid Shamal like everyone else did and did his best to tolerate it. When Shamal became delirious because of Feisha's laced pepper bottle, Antonio took Feisha's false accusations seriously and diligently cared for Shamal (giving him a cold bath).

Abbadon

• A Demon King.
• Considering his frequent appearance and the weight that his name was always spoken in, I expected him to have a significant role, but that never really happened
• He captured Houllier s*upidly easy which gave a very anti-climatic resolve to the Genesis conflict.

Borja

• He never got close to Feisha or anyone else on a personal level, which was unexpected considering his amusing interactions Feisha and Gin in the first half of the novel. Although he did return again with more disciplined as the new CEO of Noah's Ark, his role only served for comedic moments. He pretty much disappeared after Isefel returned.

Lord Cain

• The leader of the vampire clan. He was mentioned so many times, I expected that he would wake from his long sleep, but he never did.......
