I was following the translator (they do a great job but there are only 5 chaps) but then I said Why don't I just read the mtl and I went to do just that and, oh, boy, you got a big storm coming. MTL is very readable, honestly v worth it, recommend it. Also, read the tags, they don't lie, but apart from that...
Another title for Soft Fragrance would be Beauty and the Beast, the h**ny version. Oh, have I spoiled just everything with this??

• ML is a rich and rough guy of 30 who owns a gym, very muscle much wow, he is like a gloomy cloud, but then he meets the FL and he just changes for the best. He had a scary bad temper in the beginning, and in the end, he's just like a big teddy bear who is very h**ny and is totally whipped by his wife. She was his first woman, and his first love, he proposes marriage to her very quickly and is never unfaithful. He had a bad relationship with his family, but cue FL, and we all know how this ended.
• FL is very poor and shy, she has low self-esteem because she has always been treated badly for being poor. They have a fling at the beginning because he thinks she is seducing him, and she runs away the next morning, then he chases her to her village and starts wooing her. He treats her very sincerely and doesn't think less of her because of her poverty. And although he has a bad temper, he is not cruel to her and is easy to coax. When she sees that he wants to date and marry her, she also opens her heart and takes care of him. She is still very shy, and a crybaby, but she slowly gains confidence, and grows as a person. When he buys her a phone, he sends her a bunch of messages and is obviously expecting the same from her, and when he doesn't get it, he asks her to do it, and she does it. He is the clingy one, hahaha. His family is rich and a bit snobby, so they don't like that she has no education, so she starts studying to enter college, and he never mocks her for it, but rather feels aggrieved for her, and never contacts his parents when they make it clear that he can't marry her because she is uneducated. The novel ends when they're married and they have a child.
• About the smut: Almost always missionary, or doggy, dirty talking, blow jobs, and cunnilingus, ML is a ti*s guy, too, for sure.
• About the other characters: ML has a bunch of guy friends and they're a very funny intervention in the middle of smut and romance, FL makes a friend out of a past enemy, and the topic of family and found family is very prevalent.
• This novel is 5 stars!! Wholesome, hot, and cute! Also, a little quote from ML that melted my heart, ugh!

He often felt that people were born into this world to wander. He was wandering, and his heart was too. But since he met Chin Xiang, his heart suddenly wanted to stop. He wants to have a home. He wants him and Ching Xiang to be a family. (Slightly edited MTL).

Totally give this novel a try, it's so worth it when you want a comfort but smutty read!

I smiled at the end. It was a good ending.

The FL is sweet and kind. She is very easy to bully and cries easily too. But the ML treated her well. He provided for her and aside from bullying her in bed, nothing is inappropriate.

The story is soft and sweet. Though of course, the smut is really smut. At the beginning of the story, I find it ridiculous how the ML just started having s3x with the FL without knowing her well. But hey, this is a smut novel so... more>> I continued to read. Eventually, the love between the protagonists flourished.

It's start with r*pe and because of very different characteristics fl's very timid and crybaby (very weak images) when ml's gangster type with muscular (very bully and forceful). He only charges forward and drag FL along even she always say no. So smut scenes very r*pey and sound hurtful. If you can't stand r*pe act. Don't read it.

Ya! Don’t get deceived by the smut tag or by the arrogance of the ML or by how cowardly the FL is at the beginning. I tell you, although it isn’t a transmigration tag, I rate this novel 5/5 stars not only for the smut, but the character growth, plot line, romance and the fluff 💗.

If you’re impatient like me, just MTL the rest of the chapters. It’s super understandable as if it wasn’t MTL. 🙌🏻

If you're looking for pure 1v1 smut, you'll like this hentai like scenario. Although, the ML is a rich and successful businessmen, I do feel that he's all brawn and no brain type. Basically, he's like the typical CEO who throws money around to be overbearing and arrogant, while the white rabbit FL is forced to follow at his pace.

This is probably the most wholesome smut novel that I've read so far 😭 except for the accidental "rape" in the beginning everything is so fluffy and heartwarming and the snu snu is also good. Although mtl but you can understand most of the part and the ML is so whipped for the FL. he literally pampered her to heaven.

tbh I feel a little bit uncomfortable reading this one because I think ML is so rough toward FL escpecially during bed time. Like he somehow always forces FL, eventho FL said it hurts and she tired as hell. HOWEVER, she said it hurts, yet she spoils ML at the same time. So yeah im not sure either. Apart from that, ML really treats FL particularly good, escpecially when someone bullies her
