Its not her gender that is belittled. Its because she was an orphan so they dont want to believe that she can stand with those proud son side by side. I think ML hurting MC when they were young wasn't a big problem. Also MC didnt really put it in her heart because if she wasn't in that place, she wasn't testing her "mecha" which attracted the attention of the zerg. She wouldn't be helped by her teacher. So I also dont take it to heart.
some reviews said that there is a discrimination regarding genders. Im already at 141, all I see is there are a lot of female in military. Like, ML's auntie She is a commander and ML's father is a Grade B. There is also Master Xie who likes to kick peoples bu*t in the training, MC, Master Yu, and the military school full of females. When people provoke MC its because they dont believe that an orphan can defeat them the proud son of heavens. It's not because of gender but because of resources. They have been trained since they were a child, while MC lacks of resources. Im in chapter 170+ now, if you still think they like to fight her because she is a girl then I'd say you are a s*upid sh*t. If they really look at her gender they would always belittle her in the battle field. As you have read, its obvious that they want not taunt her instead they would directly eliminate her because she is a threat.
