Dropped. You can say chasing but she's borderline harassing him in the name of chasing. (I mean I've seen worse so it's not that typical "harassing" it's "lighter" I guess but..)

Idk why you guys think this is acceptable just because she's the MC? He explicitly rejects her multiple times verbally and she ignores him. Yes, we all know they get together in the end & he'll eventually like her & whatever so it's "all okaayyyyy" but whatever that's f*ckin double standards. No means no man. But the MC is... more>> like no, I'm thickfaced and shameless (yes she gets embarrassed but it doesn't stop her...) so this totally fine for me to continue to "chase". Nah. If this was a guy too, this would be unacceptable imo. Personally, can't accept this type of character.

Basically if you want that typical asian drama ready for tv story & characters, this is good.... there's no real nuances in it imo. <<less

I can never resist the temptation of Grumpy Crab's Novel.

Unlike in Please confess to me and My scholar syndrome husband, our FL here, really chase ML hard. By the way, FL worked in ML's company as the company's traditional doctor, the company itself has two doctors iirc, a traditional one, which is FL, and a western one.

ML had insomnia and gradually he and FL became close. The phase where FL chased ML is quite memorable actually.

ML's character is typical yet also not typical (?) well, you'll probably get what I mean after you read it.
FL's character is bolder thus makes it a fun ride for me. Of course, since this is a fluffy novel, her tricks are cute -only in the novel-, but considering ML's feeling, it's not that unacceptable. But I somehow could see that some people would dislike FL lol. But I'm the side who like her.

The friends are very supportive and there's this friend of ML that helped FL to chase ML,

Y’all I’m so glad this is being translated because I suffered through MTL cause I just love this author so damn much.

This is a fun, cute, and lighthearted read that I think is fairly realistic. The FL and ML don’t instantly fall in love and in fact their first impressions of each other were pretty terrible because of various misunderstandings. However, watching their relationship develop was very satisfying.

I like the FL a lot. Some people may think she came off a little desperate or pushy at first but honestly if... more>> she hadn’t chased the ML that hard their relationship would’ve never went anywhere because our ML is a block of wood. He was hurt by love before so he was really jaded when the FL met him.

His ex made an appearance at the end and man I hated her. She’s such a green tea. She left the ML in the past to develop her career but when she returns she expects him to pretend nothing happened and cater to her every whim again? Like woman you dropped his ass like a hot potato and ruined his life. You can’t just come back and expect that everything will be daisies and roses! Plus she kept trying to declare sovereignty in front of our FL even after knowing that’s his new gf. Because of her interference, the FL even dumped the ML for a while and normally I’d be angry at such a development but not here. The ML needed a real wake up call. He wasn’t a scumbag but he definitely was taking the FL for granted because she was the one who chased him. It was nice to see the tables turn. It was a little like the plot of the movie/book Flipped if anyone’s seen that.

I don't about you guys but it went from fluff to crazy real quick to me when I hit c32. After that it's just meh to me, I don't know what I'm feeling for MC. This is just crazy. Well at least she got what she wants, ig. I thought I was actually reading an April fools chapter, who would have guessed.

This is s*xual harassment. What does it mean to kiss someone forcibly. Chasing someone is not a problem. But people should have principles. People have to understand that no means no. I don't like this female lead at all. She is an educated grown up woman, but acts like a child who does not understand human relations. Even if the ML rejected her and she didn't want to give up, she could have chased him another way in a more subtle manner. Instead of analyzing her actions and his actions... more>> to find out the reason for rejection she kept doing s*upid things like kissing forcefully. It might look romantic when reading. But the one who was kissed would not feel good at all. And the ML as well, its said he is sharp tongued, he is useless to. Does it mean if she is a beautiful young lady then he can accept anything. I don't understand the logic in it all. There is no romantic sense in it. Brute force is not a way to go girl! And ML you are also useless. I don't know what to tell about you two. <<less

I really enjoyed this novel, even though I had to bounce between MTL and different websites to find chapters. The ML and MC both had their ups and downs but it made for a sweet story. Recommend, but good luck finding all the chapters :)

This story is such an amazing read. Cute FL and ML. The lil bit of trouble in near thr end of the story also makes it good and flavorful.

The novel is a good slice of life kind of novel, not too much drama, heavy plot, . Just simple story of a thick face FL and cold-aloof ml. The humor was good, I mainly liked the fl's character and her friends are quite good too
