Since I’ve Entered the World of Romantic Comedy Manga, I’ll Do My Best to Make the Heroine Who Doesn’t Stick With the Hero Happy.

I love romantic comedy mangas.

However…….. my favorite heroine is a sub-heroine, a loser heroine who will never be able to connect with the protagonist.

One day I was hit by a truck and woke up to find myself playing the role of the hero’s best friend in a romantic comedy manga.

Yeah, this is probably a dream. I’m dreaming about being hit by a truck.

In the scene where the hero’s best friend is talking alone with my favorite heroine, I possessed that best friend.

In the classroom alone with my favorite heroine……… All I have to do is to say it.

“I like you.”

“What? What are you suddenly saying……..?!”

“I’ll make you happy. I want you to go out with me.”

“Huh?!”

Because I was dreaming, I casually told her.

If this wakes me up from my dream, I won’t have any regrets…….

……Hey, I can’t wake up from my dream? It’s usually the next day, you know?

What, am I reincarnated as this character by any chance?

This is the story of how I make sure my favourite heroine is happy.

The few couple of chapters are really good, especially the fluffy romance between the MC and FML.

Spoiler

However, I just can't seem to get over the fact that this guy planned to ruin the mutual feelings between his best friend and Fujise... I mean as a friend why would you do thatttt. I understand that this is to 'help' the other love rival - who by the way is depicted as a stalker (though she does have her reasons for it) but cmon man

Well this is quite the gem. Honestly the seting is quite unique for this type of fluff story. Its more or less just an MC gets a gf now watch them flirt and date, but this one is probably the most intresting and fun among the bunch. The characters are all just great, I love the shifting pov between the MC and his gf. Ok I know she still hasnt agreed to to be his gf, but come on she more or less did.

But what imo makes this series amazing... more>> is how the MC isnt really the focus of this world. Thats his best friend and protagonist of the story he isekaid into. I feel like the fact that the main romance in the story is more just a side romantic story between the best friends of the protagonists makes it feel like their relationship isnt the whole point of this world even existing and I like that in a series. Plus we seriously need more isekaid into best friend of the protagonist stories.

In the end I want to say that if you like romance read this. Its honestly got everything you need and more. <<less

I personally love the losing heroines in almost all the stuff I watch or read, so I'm loving this story so far. Also, the romance starts super early and I'm loving the development so far. Highly recommend keeping a track of this novel.

After "Ore Monogatari!" I had a hard time finding another rom-com that I found interesting.

I don't know if I am just bad at picking reads, but this is of the few I've seen that they confess early on and we see the relationship develop trough the course of the story.

Love-com, Ore Monogatari!, and now this one.

... more>> I just don't really enjoy the "should I confess?" cliché a lot of other authors write.

funnily enough the Isekai aspect of this story is disposed of almost immediately, I wonder if it will have any relevance in the story.

Anyway, it's an interesting story and a fun read, full of fluff. Give it a try if you enjoy those other two, it's in the similar ballpark. <<less

If you are like me and are looking for something simple, sweet, slightly different compared to other web novels you might have read and that can fill your sugar tank up I would definitely give this a shot! I mainly read Japanese based novels for two reasons, simple romcom/romance stories or their interpretations on fantasy.

I like the ML and FML and their cute interactions. The progressions is fairly decent, well at least comparing to prior novels I have ventured in, and the overall story is fun. To me it feels... more>> refreshing to read and deserves a chance to be looked into by others. It's nothing ground breaking but still really enjoyable! <<less

Welp. It's just a shallow story and average writing that mostly revolves about cuteness and sweetness hence the reason that boosts the score.

I see that the MC get a lot of praise from the reviews but tbh he's pretty average and also a bit dense like any other protagonist. This is the real problem with readers who are too into JP stories with descriptions is always exaggerated... if they say that MC is Brave, it's not the truth, it's just an MC who is less cowardly! If they say MC... more>> is Evil, it's actually not, it's just an MC who is less nicer! If they say the MC is a Sigma Alpha male, don't believe them, it's just an MC with a bit of confidence!

This is a case in this story. MC is praised fror his straightforwardness and that he proactively pursuing a girl blah blah.., no he's actually not, he thought everything is a dream at first so he decided to just go on full offensive and confess on the FMC and when he started to think that everything is actually real, MC started to get cold feet and shy.

MC also shows the USUAL denseness of a usual Protagonists, like how he UNKNOWINGLY creates a flag on his little sister by saying she's pretty and cute, praising her left and right and saying how lucky he is to have such a lil' sister then patting her head making her embarrassed. And sure, MC acts as if he didn't notice any of that and also acts oblivious that his lil' sister is blushing to him. There's also that time when the FMC tries to avoid the MC because she's embarrassed and MC was like "Oh she dislike me now".

This is what I hate about japanese stories, 9 out of 10 the authors are too lazy to create some real plot and instead used the "Dense Protagonist" card to make the story more complicated.

--

Not a bad story but a bit too shallow than what I expected. Basically the characters had a 2D-ish personality which basically like most JP stories.

So far it's good if you just want to read a shallow story filled with cuteness. Just don't take this too seriously and expect it to be deep or else you will be disappointed. <<less

A young man is isekai'd into his favorite manga and wastes no time confessing his feelings to his fictional crush.

No, really, not 5 minutes after a lethal traffic accident and he's listing 100 Things I Love About You while thinking it's all a dream. What follows is a low-drama fluff-fest in which our ML tries to get an ending where no one has any regrets.

The romantic progression is pretty quick. Not first-chapter quick, but not 100-chapters-of-pointless-misunderstandings-and-interruptions slow.

On the titular (in-universe) interfering ojou stalker: You find out why she acts the... more>> way she does and she grows as a character.

Spoiler

Her behavior stems from a complex caused by the lack of communication between her and her father. She never asks anything of her busy father, and he stays out of her life and doesn't talk to her much because he thinks that's the distance she wants. Because of this, she became afraid of baring her feelings and being rejected, hence her maneuvering behind the scenes to make her relationship with the "protagonist" an established fact. After this issue is resolved, she gives up on the overbearing stalker act and faces the "protagonist" head-on, competing fairly with her rival. She also develops a close friendship with our ML and helps him out from time to time.

I'm gonna be honest - I love this diabetes inducing story and I'm gonna be quick on the review.

MC is fun, the girls are cute, "manga" MC is a good guy and has nice relationship with the MC and the most important thing - the relationship is steadily progressing. I also love it's kinda more realistic, slower pacing.
I know that many people have problem with what MC did at the "double" date in vol.1 but hear me out - he was sure that it was all a one-off dream... more>> when he confessed, that's why he did it and changed the story. Later on when it turns out that he really got isekai'ed he tries to return the story to the somewhat manga-like continuity since he knows how important it is for the Kaori mental problems.

Remember - he has quite a knowledge of the heroines and events that will happen in the future, he knew what he was doing.

It only has 2 volumes for now but as long as it keeps up the main pair cute dynamics and explores some more of the side characters it will easily keep up being 4.5/5. <<less

3.5 stars. I found it neither bad nor very good.

I like the idea of MC going after his 2D dream girl, and found it ok for the reasons other reviews have stated (though to a lesser degree).

I think I'd rate it higher if the dialogue and interactions were more to real life. I like fluff, but I can't fully buy into what the author's writing. If only it was more natural and less of the author's own fantasies (it's still better than most, hence the 3.5 rating). Other than that,... more>> I found the developments a bit boring after the interesting beginning, and the fact there's been no update for more than half a year shows the author doesn't know what to do with the story. <<less

MC keep claiming about wanting to stick to the original story as the reason why he chose to f*ck up his best friend confession arc yet he still went after FMC despite it being not in the original story which was rather hypocrite of him and the reason why he even want to f*ck up the confession isn't just because of original storyline but because the stalker girl is his 2nd favorite heroine which is why he choose to f*ck up his best friend confession since he want the best friend to resolve her internal issue which also make another plot hole where even MC is able to resolve her internal issue since he know how etc which is one of the reason why people choose to drop this

[collapse]

Does MC really love FMC is legit what I still think even after reading till the latest chapter or rather do he have a sub heroine fetish..
Spoiler

Mainly chapter 30+ is what really make me doubt does he really love her as he claim to be when supposedly he have zero reason to help the 2nd losing heroine but choose to still help her because she's his 2nd favorite heroine because if he really did love the FMC as much as he claim to be, he would have choose to help FMC support her best friend which he didn't just because 2nd losing heroine is his 2nd favorite even after he claim he wouldn't support either of them but later throughout the chapter, he seem to be helping abit more toward the 2nd losing heroine

But ye, still a good read since it's unique way of romcom which is kind of nice. <<less

It honestly reads like a first-time author's detailed life of an ideal boyfriend, albeit with the quirky setting of a romcom manga world.

It's not bad. The published version expands on it a little, and I do hope it continues, but because it reads like an immature maiden work, it has all the pitfalls of an author not come into their own yet.

Dropping one star due to the utterly annoying machine translators talking to each other during scenes. I read books to read books, not because I want to know what... more>> some annoying losers think about certain scenes. It truly detracts from the experience. <<less

Main girl is like tsugumi from nisekoi. Theres no milking confession where it takes 100+ chps for them to start going out. The pacing and progress for their relationship is really good to. Agh it made me smile so much when they go out, I love this so much. Probably my favourite romance novel, rate 5 stars.

Interesting spin on someone being isekaid. They opening chapters setup the characters pretty well and what their reasons are for doing certain things.

It is very much Slice of Life/Romance but I wouldn't really call it a Comedy.

The translation seems well done and the main characters all seem likable.

Spoiler

The comment on a negative review... The stalker friend is explained rather well early on but I do hope they expand on her with maybe some more POV chapters.

Very wholesome, it really is romance diabetes. I can't help but be a bit short on words to describe this novel, it's just fluffy and comfortable to read.

Plotwise it's not a masterpiece or anything, I know, but it's still something I'd definitely reccomend it if you want to read a blossoming rom com type story between a person who is a bit too honest about his feelings and someone who used to supress her feelings for the sake of others. Their interactions can only really described as cute, and embarassing.... more>> Actually, 90% of the lines the MC says to the girl are plain embarassing and I cannot comprehend how he is able to say that so straightforwardly. Regardless, the comedy is good and so is the romance. The characters are nice too, what's not to like? <<less

. The characters feel very natural, MC is just a normal guy, the manga protagonist is great as well, and the premise of the manga is interesting enough that I'd read it if it was a real manga. Read it if you like the genre.
