Short story of a tsundere done right. The overall plot though confusing at first becomes clear as the story proceeds. I was able to connect with the MC. Overall it is good.

MC was good character. He wasn't unreliable narrator, he was just telling us what he think necessary in his pov. But then ML gave us the rest and apparently MC is Absolutely Really Really Good Great Person!!!

I am honestly not a fan of novels that have the harem tag and often I can find those tags in historical novels because you know.... the king or prince or whatnot has a bunch of concubines. Well I'm not saying that all of the historical novels are like that because I have read some exceptions already so I'm really glad that this novel is not harem related. I prefer the ML to focus on the MC and vice versa so this was the type of novel that I liked.

Pretty good novel! Though reading it twice would make you appreciate the novel more so I suggest doing that too~

It was cool how they added the Emperor's perspective on this. That added heart-wrencing chapter was nice. Its like if Wife is First and Tyrant Pampering Wife Diary had a baby, so if you enjoy those types of novel then I greatly suggest this one.

Short stories are short stories; there isn't time to develop a complicated plot, so it's never going to be a revolutionary literary masterpiece.
That being said, in the little time this novel had to develop things, it actually kept me entertained and happily surprised by the end. Well written, and although plot is simple, everything was well done. Really like it.

A very short BL story about a reincarnated minor noble who once sacrificed his life to save the emperor. It's sickeningly sweet with just the right dash of angst for a quick 10-30 minute read.

Plot is typical for reincarnation stories where the MC sacrifices themselves then gets a second chance to save everyone he loves and prevent tragedy. MC's character is timid but very earnest in his actions. ML is typical overbearing gong that is devoted to love interest.

Writing seems to have some gaps but still very easy to understand.

A short, fluffy-ish story. I'm a bit passive on it though, but I wouldn't mind recommending this as a quick read.

The only bad thing about this is that it's too short! (And the translation could use some more polishing as it could grt confusing, but the overall, it's passable.)

T was actually pretty light to read despite some tears have to shed at some point in the story, but it’s just a little. Although, the story was good, I just don’t like the ending. It’s too sudden!!! I want more! The emperor was so domineering if I have to say. The MC is just so helpless XD but being love by the emperor was also a good start. I just hate the fact that the emperor always get his way :P

This is so cute and light. It's one of those novels that you can come back to from time to time. It's short, sweet and easy to read, perfect to read between other novels.

A really cute and quick read! Even though it’s a very simple plot, it was enjoyable due to it not being very serious. Although, it would have been interesting to see how much they love each other/see the story be more descriptive with their relationship (why they are actually in love (because it seems very one sided) and etc..) I wasn’t mad that it was a short story!

(The synopsis up there was too confusing to communicate just how interesting the story is, so I wrote another one.

Would've loved to read more details about the past life though... as well as more insight on the MC's feelings

Note: "Rain and dew" is basically the favour of the Emperor; in the synopsis, MC wants to share the Emperor's favour with the entire harem instead of being burdened with it all himself.
