Further into the story we get the ML's POV. We also see that he wasn't in-love with MC immediately.

On the other hand, the second half needs a lot of patience. Personally, I wanted to physically go into the story and delete the villains myself. But, we also get to see MC thinking more about his emotions and the world around him so that's cool. Even with all the drama, he still manages to do his job well and even run away when he said he would. I don't have much thoughts about the ML, but the MC is just A+

for example towards the beginning chapters when that beta runs away and they have to catch him, can you tell me why he went alone instead of calling security (guard team 3) ? And what was the point of that embarrassing demonstration of breaking the bottle?

or when the ML clearly shows favoritism towards MC and totally ignores the beta that MC forcibly tries to pair up with when he knows the beta has a lover?

I mean you know that the slightest mistake an employee makes, the ML will kill him, but the MC makes countless mistakes and brazenly corrects the ML (like when he gets his last name wrong) and the MC doesn't suffer any punishment?

Or when he pretends to be sick and the ML asks to rest? As MC points out countless times how ruthless the ML is, doesn't it seem strange to him?

or punishes an entire team of guards because they put you in danger?

or even more obviously he wants to eat ramen with MC? MC goes into a little monologue about how ML never snacks at night and how ramen is not a food he would eat and still doesn't understand that ML is hitting on MC?
