It's a nice and fluffy read about a dad raising his 3 daughters that he found abandoned in a wrecked village. Pace is fast so they grow up extremely quickly, and we don't slow down until they're in their teen years (well, just read the title, and it's obvious) but that's just how the story goes. Don't expect a lot of action, it's mostly SoL, just dad hanging out with his daughters and seeing them grow up; so if you don't like that kind of stuff, it may not be... more>> for you. I did use MTL from Japanese to English for the later chapters, so when things become official and have a proper translation, my opinion might change. I would've given it 4 stars if it wasn't for a forced "love" interest that they author introduce later on that just that made the story take a downwards turn. And of course that love interest has to be an muscle-brained idiot, rude, overly arrogant, tsundere bit*h and in typical Japanese fashion, the OP MC that is the strongest character there is turns into a corporate s*ave whipping boy that doesn't even defend his daughter from abuse.
Spoiler

The introduction of Regina, one of Kaiser's old party members before he retired, just popping outta nowhere in 18 years and is now a "love" interest just cause the author feels the need to have him have one, just ruined the story for me. There are so many better choices among the cast of characters we've seen, but of course let's go with the bit*h that basically verbally abuses your daughter, attacks them out of nowhere, call them burdens, don't bother to acknowledge their presence yet you don't have the balls to reproach her? Could've focus on why the Ancient Dragon said that the 3 kids are the reason why the village was burnt down, and they weren't supposed to exist instead of making a forced romance with a shitty character that has no redeeming qualities except being "an old acquaintance". Just wished Regina would die. She has no charm at all. She's a Japanese Karen.

It's a cute story. I like it. I generally turn away just because of being shounen, but decided to suck it up for this one, just because it sounded like it'd be a cute, heart-catching story. There are some things that are too cliche' and kind of bleh (typical of shounen), but otherwise, it keep me looking forward to the next chapter. I give it a thumb and a half right now.

Putting aside the shame I felt from reading this, it's your generic power fantasy with cute girls but with the creepy non blood related daughter shtick (x3). The writing itself gets worse the slower you read it, not in terms of plot (?) but in stuff like syntax and rhythm. It's really bland and simple in a very mediocre way. The characters are somewhat one dimensional, and I don't foresee that changing anytime soon. Like the main character is this perfect, super-powered guy who can do everything and anything. With... more>> this under developed backstory and no ability whatsoever to evaluate his own skill set properly. I guess the story is about him doing what he can for the girls he raised as his daughters, but it's not really showing any struggles he has a parent and it skips a vast majority of the raising phase, because why would he struggle? He's perfect and his daughters are creepily in*estuous from their p.o.v. If there's a redeeming feature of this story, it's be he actually cares about his kids. And that's pretty much it if I'm being generous. <<less
