Yes this is romance, but I got to 40 and we're still on the first world and I just became so bored. So bloody bored. His eyes are always "fierce" or "gloomy" or he's looking at her possessively. As I read through the paragraphs my brain started going "blah, blah, blah" while searching for indications things were finally moving.

Not a fan of the ML at all. Dude injures himself just so she'll act caring. His self-esteem is just constantly zero and he NEVER BLOODY TALKS.

Yes, I know he was a s*ave and it's understandable but jesus I was here for romance and QT not chapters of stalkery possessiveness, crippling self doubt, and a dude who keeps disobeying orders. Sure, it's cute he cooks when she tells him he should be reading but even though he realizes she's doing it for his own good he still ignores self-improvement to act like he's a maid/all-around servant. Cute the first time, annoying the rest of the time.

He goes and kills the prince just because he was upset the marriage contract was handed down and it upped his possessiveness. Doesn't think about consequences, doesn't consider what would happen if he was caught. Just does it then hides in some random ass alley. He literally just knows how to kill even after reading the bloody Art of War. So. F*cking. Useless.

I know we're supposed to pity this dude because of his past/potential future but christ on a cracker I'm bored out of mind and just want them to f*ck or die already. Seriously. If you don't have the ability to raise yourself up after being given all the tools and just want to act like a pathetic dodder flower that acts as impulsively as an annoying ass teen in the big things, then GTFO. Forreal. Doesn't help he barely ever talks so we get his thoughts and the FL is over here guessing and backtracking and I am just so annoyed. Felt more like gaslighting than a romance.

Some may like this, but I was bored out of my mind and simultaneously wanted to bang my head against a wall. Premise was nice but the ML doesn't know how to actually take advantage. Sure I could have held out for the 6 more chapters (arc ends at 46) that probably have more action than the 40 before combined but it just wasn't worth it. Already too bloody bored. This author needs to work on their editing because damn. 46/67 chapters are just the first arc FFS. <<less

The way the author set this up was to have the MC jump through three novel worlds and save the miserable ML's there. After the second world, the author quickly gave a final chapter which kinda wrapped things up and gave us a happy end, but it was still abrupt and unsatisfying, at least compared to what I'm used to. Maybe I'm spoiled as a reader. Even went to check for extra chapters, but nope. I also don't think her world travel was explained in any way.

In the prologue, she gets sent to the novel world by an "ugly face", could've been an ugly expression? That was supposedly the author of the novels. In the end, she reunited with the ML when he set up an audition and it was about guessing how the plot of the setting he wrote continues. However, it wasn't mentioned whether he was the original author or why/how he sent her transmigrating. Or what his reason for writing these novels, if he wrote them, was.

It was just a bit of a loose thread, which made it pretty clear the author was rushed to end her work.

Personally, I wasn't bored while reading, though it's true it tends to get long-winded and draggy. If anything, I found myself wondering about the cruelty and the cast system. Starting this novel, I was still hoping that the MC would have a cheat to help the ML, but all she got was a system restricting her behavior at times, that could also locate the ML and determine whether he's still alive or not. It's still something, but I wanted a more wish-fulfilling aspect, I guess.

Anyway, my only real gripe with this novel is the way it was given up by the author. Not sure whether she intends to go back to it one day to edit and complete it. I hope so, it has potential. <<less

I'll give this a 3.8/5 because I didn't like how long the first arc was. The first world was sooooo long when it didn't need to be. It way over half the chapters like it felt it like there only a handful of 2nd arc chapters. Also it ended abruptly. I wanted to see a little more about their married life and other stuff. Same with the last arc and the final ending. The final ending was only 1 chapter you might as well say. I wanted to see them... more>> interact more. Like it was all just a whole bunch of nothing. It's not a bad story tho. I quite like it. It's just that the author executed it wrong. <<less

This is a healing and romance novel, with a badass and strong system. The morals of the world are very low, but it would all end up well. Moreover, I am a sucker for the healing stories, so it was a wonderful treat for me.
