This is worth it of your time. It's really good and I did not expect that. I even searched for copies online just to MTL, but did not find any. Ughh I wanna know when they will divorce because I feel so heavy on how she is being treated. She does not deserve it!!

even though people try to put a spin on it and make it seem like the emperor, the emperors concubine and the male leadare in a love triangle its absolutely adorable how the male lead makes people think that the concubine aint all that while simultaneously building his relationship up and gaining his lady loves trust by using what he sees in his bird form while cuddling her (i said this before but hes a nerd that got embaressed when he caught the fem lead changing and used his wing to hide his eyes)

It's a very interesting story and the whole idea of remarried empress, how she gets into the society, the smart and tactful attributes of the FL is amazing. The ML to bmw felt like golden sunshine kinda guy who is mature but childish at the same time. I have been following this novel from start and love the fact it has ended with good note. It's definitely worth reading.

I probably would've rated this novel 5 stars if it wasn't for the recent developments in the latest chapters. Rashta and Sovieshu are very fun to hate and the main reason why I didn't drop the novel in the later chapters because I want to see them suffer. One of the side characters, Duke Elgy is also one of my favorites because at first I thought he was against the empress/MC Navier but ... more>>

he's slowly causing the downfall of the eastern empire (mc's empire) by manipulating Rashta. It's really entertaining watching Duke Elgy's and Rashta's interactions.

I really disliked the recent plotpoint the author came up with though.

basicallygrand duke chapman gives the ML a love potion which made him briefly fall in love with his sister in law (WTF????) for a day and the sister in law likes him back. Thankfully the love potion only lasted for a day (2 chapters in the novel) so it wasn't annoyingly stretched out. It just pissed me off because of how ooc everybody acted. Also the MC has had to deal with a cheating husband (Sovieshit) so this made me think less of the ML, even though it's technically not his fault. I also enjoyed grand duke's character before this so it pisses me off why the author made a character evil for no reason. The dog blood drama in this novel makes my head hurt.

tldr I rate this a 3.5/5, if the story becomes better later I might rate it a 4 but that plotline just ruined the novel for me. <<less

I love the novel and how the author express the thoughts of each character, and the translations are super nice as well. MC acts cold on the outside but im pretty she has low eq, with all those thoughts kept inside her and she makes assumptions rather than try to trust ML. Its also a bit annoying to read how Rashta was so full of herself ~~

I do wonder though if the book is already completed and at what chapter because the roller coaster ride is starting to make me... more>> feel annoyed. All in all, it's a decent read. <<less

Never thought I'd be anticipating and relishing a fictional divorce so much... I love fantasy/romance stories with magic, royalty and nobility, court intrigue, wordbuilding, and mainly, a strong female protagonist!!!! We stan Navie as the one true Empress and queen.

Really good story the antagonists have their own reasons and make you question if you can hate them but of course you still will. The story's romance was 10/10. Its so popular because the story is really good the manhwa goes onto depth in the story and the novel was the original who paved the way. Definite recommend :)

I love this story so far its enjoyable and the characters are better than alot of similar web novels ive read I like how not everyone is black and white but a shade of grey and I could only really hate one character and it wasnt rashta it was her husband well ex-husband which is nice

And I know that the story is only at 173 right now but I found another site that was at 174 ao I read that

This is the first Korean novel I have read and I AM HOOKED. Though the plot is cliche but the way the author uses it to her favour is amazing.

At the start of the novel it becomes apparent on how the supposed husband of the FL emperor sovieshu treats her, us readers become frustrated as time goes on with the way the emperor shames and neglect the FL in favor of the concubine ! Though we are at peace by the fact that there would be the eventual divorce scene... more>> BUT I must warn you it would take lot and I mean a LOT of chapters before we head there tho patience is key it would be worth it!

Also love the world building of the author it doesn't seem force all in all a great read very recommended even got my bf who doesn't like these kind of things to read it! <<less

It may sound absurd but I literally didn't read a single chapter normally. Whenever rashta and sovieshu will appear I just ended up swiping the screen real quick. So yeah I basically just skip reading it. It also depends on the title of each chapter, I think I only read the first ten then I skip it all the way.

No matter how bad or cliche a novel is, I still give it a try (I'm not saying this is a total tr*sh alright)

But this, I AM SO FRUSTRATED!! Sovieshu... more>> is a goddamn s*upid shit! And that rashta is just hypocrite b*tch! I just want to f*ckin go there and beat them half dead. Navier is so pitiful but if only she knew how to fight back, or just to show how bit*h rashta is but then it is still a blessing somehow

At least Navier divorced sovieshu and married heinley. I expect some regrets. I want sovieshu to realize what he had lost. And rashta to be an incompetent empress. That compared to navier rashta is not even worth mentioning. I want his entire empire to fall into ruins.

As I have said I only read a few chapters cause this really uh makes my heart stuffy. I just can't continue to read. This is the only novel that makes me feel like this (i guess) <<less

Translation is great, the characters have reason behind their actions and aren't creating drama for s*upid reasons. Perhaps the wait till the divorce is the only main problem but if you are a fast reader everything seem to rush by at a good speed, building up the characters nicely, and make you more hyped up for the second marriage to come.

I am simply in love with this story! I've read all the released chapters in 2 days and that says a lot. It's even the first time I'm writing a review.

Although I recommend it, please bear in mind that this is not a typical fluffy romantic story, it does have its moments, sure, and they're too lovely and heart warming, but it also has A LOT of anguish and politics about the nobility.

Caught up with it in 3 days, that's how much I love this novel.

I started it thinking I would be skipping a lot of chapters, just because of how slow the story is, but I ended up reading every word of it. I know a lot refuse to read this because of the amount of chapters it takes to reach the divorce, but I highly recommend picking it up nonetheless. I was like that as well, but once I started reading this I couldn't put my phone down.

5/5 for Navier... more>> and Heinley's happiness (I MTL'ed the raws and I seriously can't wait to read their moments together again <333) <<less

Im so excited with the development, I still really hate tr*shta and that s*upid emperor. If we really put this story in modern era romance maybe sometime really most men are like this insensitive and they keep on feeding their pride and ego for putting all the blame to their partner. And sometimes its likewise to the counterpart.

Im just so angry how useless the emperor. Sadly the kr novel is still ongoing so I cant find any spoiler whose going to end with our empress.

This novel is quite binge-worthy!

I started this last week and I am hooked. The translations are wonderful and it’s refreshing to have a FL that is as level headed and resourceful as Navier.

Honestly, this novel is veeeeery slow paced and although you will find yourself disliking Rashta there are moments where you find yourself pitying her. But I think everyone can agree that the Emperor is s*upid af. If you want to read a novel that builds the characters personalities (a bit of their storylines I guess, but sloooooooow character... more>> development) then this is for you. It builds the characters relationships (especially the female characters) well and provides good world building too!

However if you want something that is faster and develops characters quickly, then I recommend to skip this one. The situation in the prologue doesn’t happen until way later in the story (like 100+ chapters), and if you want things to happen in a quicker pace, then this is not for you. <<less

When I first read the description I was like wtf the emperor promising the empress seat to a s*ave girl?!!!! ? that just plain s*upidity so at that time I decided not to read it. after few months with nothing to read I gave it a try turns out I was wrong and I'm regretting not reading earlier... I really love the strong FL ! Heinly and the Grand duke ❤️?

BUT !! It's really frustrating... you can't not think of mu*dering some character while reading ?

And I still can't believe... more>> that in the upcoming chapters he would promise the empress seat to tr*shta. like bit*h not anyone can reigns over people it's a lot of work... you'll understand that if cherish your people and you want the good of your country... even though the emperor sometimes showed cleverness (he doubted tr*shta) but he's still a dumbass ?

And also I hate how some nobles fell for tr*shta charms, the nobles are always protrayed as cunning people that always have political and nerve battles so for them to fall for her face and innocence it's revolting !!

It was good, I'm looking forward to the next chapters and hoping the author doesn't mess up and keeps the good work ❤️! <<less

If there was ever a novel that will make you fall in love with LN, this is it. Bewared though, after reading this it'll be hard to wade through the filth. 5/5 novel and a total bar-setter

It's amazing. I love/hate the characters so much!

You really need nerves out of steal, otherwise I recommend you wait until its finished.

I wish the concubine Rashta would just break her neck while falling down the stairs. And the empeor break his back deathly while trying to catch her. You will hate those to so much. Be prepared.
