Bo Xiyun had been transmigrating into one world after another. He just wanted to recuperate quietly but kept having weird interactions with a big shot.

For example, the note he passed to the God of Studies offhandedly resulted in weird expressions from fellow classmates who told him, “You are still infatuated with him? You have no chance.”

Bo Xiyun: “…I am secretly infatuated with him?”

Holding the note, the God of Studies who had been quiet the entire time suddenly spoke up, “That’s not true.”

Bo Xiyun sighed in relief. He just didn’t know how to act in a love drama.

The God of Studies continued low and cold, “It was you who rejected me.”

Bo Xiyun: “……”

The consequence of rejecting the God of Studies was finally realizing what the true meaning of being passionate was. There’s nothing wrong with being passionate, just that it was tough on the waist.

In the next world, Bo Xiyun became bankrupt, and when faced with a contract, thoroughly rejected him by saying—

“I don’t want to be a kept man, I prefer love on an equal footing.”

Such a cold-faced big shot who was used to his status as the top of the food chain will definitely not be willing to be in an equal relationship. Bo Xiyun just wanted him to get angry and leave. He looked into this pair of eyes, so similar to the God of Studies, and felt lingering trauma. His waist hurt.

The other party stared at him silently, his voice calm, “You had agreed previously to be my provider for three years and didn’t want to be in a relationship.”

Bo Xiyun, “……”

The consequence of rejecting the big shot was, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen nights, one night less and it wasn’t three years. Even after paying off this world’s debt, there was still the next world on the list.

In the end, Bo Xiyun finally realized. He may be cold and distant but when he falls, his passion has no end, like the sea.

This novel confused me with its abrupt introduction to the MC. I don't really understand what the author was trying to do with the novel and both worlds/ arcs felt like they were two separate stories.

I really liked the first world but it ended in a really unfulfilling manner that left me with so much discontent. The second world was similar but seemed littered with plot holes.

They like to show us that the MC has some incomplete memories but that doesn't excuse the blatant disregard for previous mentioned plot points.... more>> The authors foreshadowing is absolutely ass. The synopsis makes it sound as though we gradually find out the MC's true identity but why was it just a mash up of concepts put onto the MC. It doesn't help that in the second arc they barely discuss the MC's emotions; how I am I supposed to know that he hates his father and why. I don't get a view into his emotions and therefore cannot understand them.

the author should have just made to separate stories because the first doesn't effect the second in any way.
Spoiler

Why didn't the MC care when confronted with his first love in the second arc. He was only like he looks familiar and that was f*cking it. Why?!?! There is no development then. I at least expected a difference from the first world but why the hell was he not even slightly effected. Him being sad and emotionless won't cut it cause he shows an obvious care for people in his life.

[collapse]

Now my biggest gripe is where the hell did the MC come from. There is no background information and I'm confused on what the goal from his transmigration is. Does he have a mission? Are these his first two worlds? He said he's there for recovery but what is he recovering from.

If you just want romance though the novel is quite good for it. The main couple are really cute and the only thing keeping me from dying of stress reading.

Honest opinion:

first arc: The better arc, if the author expanded on this arc and went ham on the details I swear it would be a much better story.

second arc: The problem arc. The writing just seemed to deteriorate during this arc. The story isn't even bad it's just that plot holes started to show up and I got so confused. It may be because I MLT but I do subconsciously autocorrect when reading and I was still like " when did they tell us that" or " that doesn't make any f*cking sense" so take that with what you will.

The author didn't connect the two arcs together so it felt jarring to say the least. If they just made the arcs longer I feel like they could have fit all of there ideas without it all conflicting and causing a mess.

i have actually read worse and the novel is still genuinely enjoyable to read. I may reread when it's fully translated to see if my opinion can change and if the MLT ruined the plot in any places.

i also can't find the extras so that may be why it feels incomplete still <<less
