“I prepared for this day. So you have to understand.”

The strongest player, Lee Suhyuk, is betrayed by a trusted friend during a tower raid.

As a result, he lost all his comrades and met his death.

However, for some reason, he woke up 20 years later.

“The same approach won’t work.”

Faster.

Stronger.

To achieve that, he needed points.

Suhyuk decides how to earn points early on.

“Cosplaying as Lee Suhyuk is trending?”

20 years have passed, and Lee Suhyuk has become a legend.

He didn’t know much about streaming, but if it’s imitating Lee Suhyuk, he was confident.

After all, he is Lee Suhyuk.

[‘Lee Suhyeok’ has started streaming.]

The desire to write overpowered protags will never be understood.

There explicit scenarios where a good enough author can make it work... and then there are stories like this one. The author seemingly wrote the universe to fill the need of writing an over powered protag... sooooo many "and this supposed to be hard, but I'm doing so much better this time. oh look at this amazing award for doing above and beyond."

In all honesty, its written pretty well. but the core concept is merely the same scenario over and over... more>> again. there is something about to happen, it was hard last time, I did well last time, im doing the bestest there ever was this time. rinse and repeat. no one else in the universe matters, I am the bestest bester that ever bested. oh look I have a chat screen where people give me money for being bestererer <<less

Was curious why it already had a one star so early in its debut. This is actually super entertaining, brought back my old love for novels about action streaming.

I'll admit the world building is a bit of a mess, but personally I think that's partly just due to the skewered common sense the MC has.

I think the world is essentially "Tower appeared many years ago on Earth connecting earth to many different worlds".

Words like murin are used as well as the phrase "Affiliation: Earth", implying other worlds and such which is interesting. (There seems to be some sort of academy or something too?) Also there seems to be a deep reason for climbing the tower? The world building is weird but I'll update this when more chapters come out. The tower even seems to have its own world and society, it's quite interesting.

[collapse]

Besides the world building that confuses me a bit, it's actually quite an entertaining novel if you just want something fun/exciting to read without romance. Try it, it may be to your taste if you like the hunters/players type concept + streaming. <<less

This novel delivers exactly what it promises. No more, no less. Well, strictly speaking, it exceeded my expectations, but that's mainly just because the bar is so low.

If the novel sypnosis sounded interesting to you, then you will most likely enjoy the novel. There's not much to criticise unless you inherently hate this cliched genre itself.

On things the novel did particularly well:

For once, tower floors are actually written as part of world-building, in a continuous episodic story. Of course, there isn't anything wrong with the common tower = instanced MMORPG... more>> dungeons, or tower = random unconnected arbitrary trials based on whatever the author thought of that day. But these types of floors sort of limit how engaged you can be in the nove's world, because there just isn't a world to throw yourself into. You stop at engagement slop. While I wouldn't say this novel did the world-building spectacularly, there was a very strong attempt to do it, which I like, because it's not a cop-out.

Villians are given somewhat understandable motivations behind their actions, beyond just being "pure evil". Again, it's not written so well that you'll find yourself having sympathy for them or anything. It's just there, a solid attempt, like everything else in this novel.

Overall, if you like a power-fantasy MC who never loses and never fails, with above-average but not excellent fundamentals, then you should certainly give this novel a try. If you know from experience that such novels simply don't appeal to you, then this novel most likely won't be well-written enough to change your mind. It's as simple as that. <<less

Honestly, this novel is exactly what you would expect from a reincarnation tower climb novel. The author clearly knows what they want to do with their world and characters and is pretty good at wielding the tropes and cliches of the reincarnation and tower climb genres to get us there. The pace of the novel is quick in some places and slow in others, but always just enough to keep you looking for the next chapter. I'm reading through Fenrir Translations, and the translation quality is good. It's a pretty... more>> easy read with very few mistakes, and all the translator notes/comments are kept to the bottom which is a blessing.

As for the story, personally I think it's funny as hell that the author sets up a situation where our MC can "hide" himself without hiding himself at all. I find Suhyuk endearing as an MC, and much like his in world viewers can't help but want to cheer for him. I enjoy the side characters as well and appreciate the fact that the author takes the time to work on their stories as well as the MC so that they also get depth and growth of their own.

Over all for sure something I recommend if you're looking for a novel for a good, if not predictable, time. <<less

At the time of this review I am caught up to the current available chapters in the 300s. Overall this is a good underrated series in my opinion. It is a typical tower progression fantasy story but the characters are written well and the pace of plot and action keeps you wanting to continue to see how situations resolve. World building occurs in the background so earlier comments mentioning they were confused, it is by design as later chapters and arcs fill in those gaps. At least as of chapter... more>> 305 there are hints of a romantic subplot developing, for now the MC is driven by his goal but two of the heroines have taken an interest in him.

The synopsis tells the bulk of it. Earth along with many worlds were thrown into a tower-like dimension against their wills forced to prepare for a distant day in the future that is unknown. This story occurs after all that has long been established as fact. In this tower series, there are trials that need to be completed prior to floor advancement, and then there are guardians that must be defeated on each floor in order to open up the trials. In the trials death can occur without penalty, however death is permanent on the floors when attempting to kill the guardians or hunting monsters to raise levels. Worlds can also be consumed if they fall too low on the progression of the tower. Which is the driving force to climb.

The story opens up where our MC from Earth and his team of close friends (The strongest players of the time) just killed the guardian of the furthest floor and were about to proceed with the trail. They are at that time betrayed by their friend who created a support guild to help them. Prior to the MC's death, he attempts to save as many of his friends who are still breathing then attempts to take as many of those who attacked them with him in death. Thinking he did the best he could for his friends, he wakes up in a dumpster with a head injury. Learning he is in a younger body he doesn't recognize he learns he reincarnated 20 years in the future and sets his goal to get revenge on those who betrayed him, grow stronger properly this time and join up with any of his friends who may have survived the onslaught 20 years ago. <<less

Hiding his face behind a (now) generic mask is seen as the ultimate disguise by the MC. Even going out to meet his soon to be agency with said mask on. That somehow this means he'll be able to hide his identity from his enemies and anti-fans or something? But the problem here is that he'd have to verify his identity for any business contract and ultimately the 'points' he gets from streaming have to be paid to him. So there should be a connection to the body he has possessed. Any real antagonist (i.e. His revenge target) should be able to do this much investigation if the MC caught their attention. Unless of course there's some contrived setting where all this can be done annon. I wouldn't be surprised if there was since the MC kills a guy right outside a dungeon and for reasons there's no people, cameras, or guards? They don't even mention how the MC takes care of the body. If it's the norm I guess he burnt it and/or threw it in the dungeon? It would have been more believable if the author established why dungeon entrances weren't monitored and that it was an unpopular dungeon for some reason.

Still, wearing the mask in public is just drawing attention to himself so it seems counter to the goal here. Wear a different freaking mask at least?

Reincarnator's Stream is another example of the author's skill in crafting engrossing worlds. With its own unique features and plot, you'll be absorbed into it.

The main character is well-written, with a balance of strengths and flaws that make them relatable. His journey of self-improvement and perseverance in the face of adversity is captivating and inspirational. While the novel is enjoyable, it does rely on some familiar tropes from the progression fantasy genre. For those who are searching for something completely unique, some of the elements may seem familiar.

If you’re a... more>> fan of the author’s previous works or enjoy stories about second chances and overcoming adversity, this novel is definitely worth your time. <<less

Pretty cool! The MC is likable and isn't a completely blank slate. The tower climb is pretty good and unlike most tower climbs where the MCs find all of the hidden pieces to complete the story the right way. This doesn't happen each tower climb seems to be different for each character removing the plot armor story type.

The MC is "OP" except not really he is simply to powerful against the lower level people. The streaming part is fine, this is my first novel about the streaming archetype but they... more>> play it of well with him only streaming because he needs points.

It seems the only reason he hasn't been flagged as a reincarnation is because people don't believe it could happen, other than that he hasn't but much effort into hiding is identity.

The fight scenes are cool especially the ones in tournament in the later chapters (150-170ish).

Although, most of my review is negative I highly recommend it <<less

Well, I would say this novel is pretty nice.

Standard cliches -> betrayal -> reincarnation -> second chance (but now it is the future) -> climbing tower (KR novels like it) -> gaining more power for revenge -> killing the guardian of the current floor.

The only thing I would argue about tags is "Overpowered Protagonist". He is not super overpowered, otherwise he would enact his revenge, but everything else is correct.
