It starts off incredibly slow, with our MC not really interacting with the former hero until almost chapter 50. So it takes that long for us to reach the point described in the summary. The pace picks up after that though, and since I was reading mtl, I didn't need to wait for anything. The dialog is quick and a joy to read. 100 chapters in, there isn't a whole lot of depth to the side characters, but you get just enough to at least have a thought about them.... more>> The relationship between the MC and former hero is at the stage of good friends at this point, but I know the author wrote an 18+ chapter about them after the novel was finished, so things are going to progress eventually.

The biggest turn off a lot of people might have is over the MCs brutality. This is a revenge story, and when she says she wants to kill all humans, she means it. Mercy is not an ideology she subscribes to. The story doesn't go into much gory detail, but I know it will bother some people all the same. Still, I really enjoy her utter excitement and joy as she goes full musou mode on these humans.

Edit: just finished the series and wanted to stress that the dialog and characters are a lot of fun. The fact that the plot takes so long to get rolling is my only complaint, but it does get incredibly good after that. The comedy can also come out of nowhere and brings a wide smile to my face.

Spoiler

In the middle of the climatic battle with the final boss, the demon lord kicks the guy in the dick. The follow-up line was something like "Just as a man will never understand the hardships of giving birth, neither shall a woman ever understand the pain of getting kicked in the dick." It earns that comedy tag.

This story may not be everyones cup of tea and the pace is rather slow but in the end its a really fun read I got rather invested by the concept that I started reading ahead. My main complaint really would just be the pacing being a bit slow but it does allow us to more clearly grasp the power dynamic of the characters and provide more infor on various characters and that it takes a rather long time for the romance aspect to show other than that the story... more>> was great and I highly recommend it <<less

Good revenge story where characters didn't become too edgy or blinded by their revenge. A not so tragic story of multiple characters because they gained power.

The story revolves about the fight between humans and the rest of the races. The humans are brainwashed to worship Misery the human goddess while marking other races as evil. This is the only reason why I didn't rate this as 5 star despite being deserving of that. I just can't believe that literally all humans are faithful that they are blinded by the church... more>> teaching. Like what about the criminals, or scholars? Why there's no one pursue the subject regarding the other races. This cause various question to spring up while I was reading this.

That said those are minor things for me. Battles that involves revenge are satisfying. The characters are also good and interesting (think of Rimuru and his allies). The yuri element though are mostly present near the ending and it's cute.

Spoiler

It's surprising that the hero is the top.

The story after the beginning chaps, are not slow and actually a bit fast-paced. There's a lot of time-skip. There's an occasional PoV of different characters, and a whole long arc that tells the past of the demon lord, which is like a mini-story.

It's a story that I really enjoy and that MTL the rest of untranslated chapter. I like the dialogues and banter, and even the occasional comedy that appeared. The ending is very good and left me satisfied. I just hope there's more after story, as like a I said, the yuri romance only appeared near the end. This is just perfectly fit for my taste as a fantasy story, it has skills, lots of strong characters, battles, gods, etc. I highly recommend this everyone. <<less

I very much like the writing style considering it's likely my second or third time encountering one. This Web Novel starts off as slow and meets the hero on around chapter 45 or so and that's where "other" more interesting characters are added.

Its very fun to read and im quite dissapointed that I only found this containing just 52 chapters. Give it a go, once you've started reading it, you will find yourself at the last updated chapter in just a blink of an eye. Then you'll find yourself wanting... more>> some more

They truly made the humanity extinct. Man, that was brutal LMAO~

They literally slaughtered every human other than hero (who later threw away her humanity), and made a world where no human exist. Even the Demon Goddess happily announced it once they slaughtered the last human group, and then they made a huge celebration to commemorate it. The Human Goddess were also judged by the Demon Goddess, so there won't be any interference anymore from other Divines. They succeed in making an utopia for all non-human race.

Also,

Spoiler

The hero is strong af. She literally became the strongest entity (other than the Demon Goddess) on the entire world. Imagine MC having an absolute unit as a wife.

[collapse]

The multiple worlds are ruled by a group of divinities (for convenience's sake I will call them the Divines). The main cause of human vs demon conflicts is the Human Goddess. Out of envy to her peer, the Demon Goddess, she broke the Divines' rules by giving a portion of her power to the First human hero, a war maniac who happily slaughtered the non-human race for fun. Simply put, the egoistic Human Goddess didn't like 'her world' to have non-human race in it, henceforth she decided to oppress them. The Demon Goddess tried to fought back and asked help from the other Divines yet failed, because one of the higher Divine was in favor to the Human Goddess and through their conspiracy, they blocked the Demon Goddess' attempts from getting any help. It was through other Divine's intervention that the MC's soul was sent to that world as that Divine's messenger, becoming a helping hand for the Demon Goddess and hence they started their counterattack.

tl;dr quite a nice read imo. I won't go into the details because the story mainly about conflict and war, and how to beat that arrogant Goddess. <<less

Just what I came for. A really pissed off MC who goes out to cause chaos! I don't care for the Yuri/Shoujo AI aspects as it mostly seems comedic for now. It seems they've stopped giving status checks which is kind of annoying but a lot of other novels drop status checks after a while. I think we're long overdue to see her stats after all of her training with Yumi the former hero. Overall so far though, I think this is a rare gem of revenge in a fantasy... more>> setting. All the other revenge MCs are too squishy for their own good, taking FOREVER to actually get around to their revenge. And I think a lot of that has to do with Freedom. MCs typically have a single person or family they want to get revenge on whom are in high and sophisticated positions while Lean has a whole species to play with to live up to her name Bloodlord and nickname Blood-Thirsty General. It's a really nice change of pace and honestly I really wanna see Lean's Brutality in a Manga or in an Anime.

Regarding Chapter 62, the chapter I'm on, it was satisfying to see the church really talking about the mystery of Lean Bloodlord, the new Demon Executive. I feel Novels don't give enough perspectives on their MCs, but I Digress. That reveal at the end that it was Lean who just wiped the floor with their new buttered up hero got me on the floor laughing my ass off. Dude was getting all hyped up in fighting but then instantly got his ass kicked, you'd expect nothing less of our girl. I can't wait to see in Chapter 63 where that fight is going to take place (I think, at least I hope we get to see it). One thing I really wanna see is a confrontation between her and the hero who's in love with her past life identity, Senjo Yona. I wanna see him realizing that the woman he loved really did die that day, and this Lean is only a monster that he unwittingly and unwillingly helped create. <<less

I cannot stress this enough, this series need more love.

Sure it starts up slow but as soon you past the 50th chapter it's just such a fun story to read; sure there's gore and it's a revenge based story but it's so goddamn entertaining.

I didn’t read the description when I pulled this novel up to read, and only paid the yuri tag and the title any attention. I pulled up the novel b cause I wanted to read a yuri romance, but was super caught off guard with how dark the move got all of a sudden. It’s good either way though, I liked reading the chapters I did, and if it was a few months back, this would definitely be a novel I’d binge, I’d recommend it as long as you didn’t... more>> originally come looking at it for yuri romance lmao <<less
