Btw, something the summary didn't mention (this isn't a spoiler or anything, tbh) : MC was a man in the real world before he came to the Otome Game World.

I really wish I saw that note before I started to read this. The story is well written, well translated, interesting and does a nice job of luring the reader in. It's just that it ends at an entirely inappropriate point, that has nothing resolved. Instead of being a prequel it could better be called an introduction. You would honestly think that this would be something quite hefty to read, as with the beginning starting out decently, and building up from there. But that would end up getting shut down by the very conclusion at the end, as there was no sort of development to work with, which disappoints me to a good degree.

It was pretty short, so it'd be a fun read, but it's better if you don't get too invested into this one shot.

This was honestly abrupt lol, it's like the MC jumped to conclusions and then time skip to her marriage and done... no relationship building or anything of that sort just some assumptions. >_>; Good thing it's a one-shot, I think it probably would not be a good read with the author just dropping it down after stoking one's interest. =.=;

Not going to bother rating it since it was just pretty much a prologue then skip to the end feeling for me.

I don't know why people expecting so much from it -it is a one shot for a reason. You're not really supposed to invest much on it or expect big character or relationship growth. That's why most one shot, especially those in the otome genre offers 2D love ("love in first sight" "different from others" etc). At most it give us a glimpse on the life of a character in their world.

I personally love the concept, and I am very glad the writter didn't prolong it and went straight to... more>> the point.

MC was readying to go the monastery to avoid her death flag, only to realize the world didn't have any... "Force of nature" to keep the story similar to the otome game.

Had they prolong it, it would be way worse as we would be anticipating for something big to occur only for the writter to shatter it by saying it wouldn't happen.

I love this concept, it tells us a scenario where there's no force making these events real and so their life continues how it should be without it following the otome game scenario.
