The start looks promising. The mystery elements are solid.

An authentic comic horror novel that smells like Lovecrafts.

A regressed element that blends perfectly without antagonising the genre.

Beautifully described the irresistible and unknown horror inherent in the cosmic horror.

Good story. Very rare type in fact. The novel theme is related to cthulhu mythos which is very rare. Aside from Lord of Mysteries, Deep Sea Embers I can't recall anything else to compare. Anyway the story is good that's for sure.

Unfortunately the novel is neglected. Only recently it started to have regular update. Hopefully it will continue like this. Looking forward to the future updates.

What an opening,

It is quite rare for me to 'fall in love' with a story from the first chapter, It is easier to say I have never liked a story from the first chapter.

The story sounds extremely promising so far, and the translation quality is probably one of the best I have seen.

It's quite enjoyable, but it hits a couple of my personal pet peeves.

As a reincarnator, the main character's perspective and reactions are a bit too... native. If comparing to deep sea embers, where the main character is generally calm and collected, the MC here panics and even goes crazy after witnessing some things that are just the tip of the iceberg. Even gets traumatized. Those are not very main character-ly reactions.

This reeks of Lovecraft. It oozes Lovecraft. The style of writing and the pacing of dialogue just drown in the same sort of feelings as if one were reading The Whisperer in the Darkness or The Shadow Over Innsmouth. This is a lot more dialogue-heavy than anything Lovecraft ever wrote, but the tone and cadence of the writing captures the essence of it.
