Um. Very short chapters?

MC gets cheat skills because the god of his world thinks that his accidental death is a misfortune.
- Strength to carry 5 tons
- Barrier magic
- Earth magic

He is now reborn as the eldest of four siblings, in a feudal fantasy setting. Despite living as a farmer, the last chapter notes that he is already better than the current feudal lord's army and the adventurers...

He tries to uplift his family for now, as well as his village, and his siblings seem to show great potentials themselves.

... That's it.

As of chapter 8, the chapters are indeed short, but the pacing is slow. Nothing has happened, and and only a small amount of information is given about his siblings. At the end of chapter 8, the MC seems like he will finally interact with others more. So far, the small interactions with the family seem interesting. It also seems like the MC will begin fighting goblins.

Well it is slow I guess, not a problem. But his powers make no sense at all if your body can use 5 ton of force then keeping up with a wolf his speed should be no problem. Just using earthmagic to form iron sand into the shape of knives is useless because they would be more brittle than that of dry clay. Normal blacksmiths use fire to remove the sand part (impurities). Well in my opinion metal should not even be considers a part of the earth. What happend... more>> to Nika? He was supposted to teach his siblings (3) magic and only 2 were learning afterwards. Filled with plotholes and a nonsense MC.

Also some sentences make no sense at all and feel as if they were machine translated. <<less

This isn't a proper review but just to clear up Lucaria's comment the chapters are really short. I mean really really short. So the story isn't really slow paced but more comparable to a daily 4-koma. Still the quality and writing are pretty decent and the translation is good in terms of grammar and structure.

If you can't stand slow-paced stories then do not pick up. Its almost infuriating now to find authors now that write these slow-short chapters. To use an analogy, if a volume was 24 hours in real life, the first chapter is rolling out of bed.

30 chapters in the story is starting to pick up speed and we see an actual plot just around the corner, but its taking the author/translator months to get 1 chapter out. Hoping, but not expecting better in the future.

I binged read and currently at Ch 22.... and I'm already getting sleepy reading this. Already at 22 yet I don't know the name of the MC. It also feels like I'm reading a diary of a reincarnator (who seems to forgot to introduce himself first)...I don't think it's a slo~w life. Just that how it was written is kinda like the one writing the diary doesn't have that much (or did not feel any) excitement in his everyday life. The story is nice. Very easy going, looking forward to reading more. I would recommend this to people who enjoy slice of life, medieval, fantasy type novels. *VERY IMPORTANT* Pacing is slow *VERY IMPORTANT*. This is just my opinion so you don't have to take it to heart, but if you're going to critic this novel do it base on anything other than the pacing. mtl the wn, stopped at some point, mostly cause of so many chpts and slow pace, the wn does better covering details and events with MC than the manga, which also suddenly the manga makes the MC much older than the author wrote mostly for sales purposes as the MC is supposed to be several years younger than the manga, as there doesnt seem to be any group ever gonna catch up with the wn, if u read the manga its not bad but doesnt explain alot of details but... more>> is good if u wanna start with interest into this wn, but will be dissappointed with how much is left out from the wn in the manga version with details and author intent, overall if u get into it, its a good slow life writing to mtl but alot of time will be needed, its typical op MC slice of life slow life writing but at least the author wrote so many chtps regularly

edit: if u mtl chpts, u can understand frustration with so many short chpts and why some need for combining for manga adapt but wn still has good details left out of manga

edit 2: mtled ahead, I remember why I stopped this wn, writing is chuni with alot of MC isnt overpowered but brings fantasy type stuff to different situations, in unblivable ways and makes op pets and uses tech but keeps living the poor countryside slowlife vibe somewhat.... retrospect, it seems the manga is a more corherant follow along version even if it leaves some important details out..
