One of the most shocking parts was when ML killed the mother, father, and sisters of this irrelevant character in front of his eyes. HE EVEN WANTED TO KILL THE BABY. MC just forgot about all of this after one day

The worst case of it is when the Abel finally learns that the Karas is the Prince and begins spiraling to the point where he literally dies from grief. It's honestly really well written you can feel the terror and guilt that Abel feels for all the death and suffering he may have caused. So tell me why the moment Able wakes up all of that tension is gone and they're giggling having their first kiss with no thoughts at all as to why he almost died a couple minutes ago.

The MC almost got r*pe twice. Both times I felt it could've been avoided and unnecessary. First time, I was so angered because how is it that his tent was completely unguarded despite everyone knowing how important his safety is. Sure, one of them felt bad for like a chapter but in the end learned nothing.

Second time, it could've been avoided if ML try even a little to communicate with MC about his plans so MC doesn't have to run around doing the most pointless things.

Despite almost completing the full story. I am not one bit convince the ML has feelings for MC, is more like obsession and possessiveness--this isn't love. First time they kiss is none consensual.

First time they had s*x, it was none consensual. ML literally teard his bu*t hole bloody and didn't care to stop even if MC is screaming in pain and passes out. Something tells me that the author is probably a virg*n because only in someone's delulu fantasy can find this romantic.

MC always making excuses for ML's bad behavior. How blind do you have to be still think a grown ass man that slaughters even babies as "innocent". People arguing that he gets a pass because he is a dragon needs to get their brain checked.

Also, what's with the side character's obsession with the ML and MC's s*x life. They more obsess with it than running the country. The way they talk about it is so cringe...

MC became the exact manifestation of the trope he was supposed to break. I really don't understand why he got anime aids and now falls over at the slightest breeze. I guess it's easier to write an MC that randomly falls into ML's arms and need to be carried everywhere? But it's super cheap.

ML is actually just evil and cruel for no reason. While he had a poor childhood, he still had a ton of people (ie. Asher) who deeply cared for him. I really can't excuse his behavior. Also, I really hate MLs that are so obsessive and insane when it comes to the MC. Seriously, 2 months when you're 10 years old, shouldn't really make you imprinted for life. But I guess that's just how these novels go.

In volume 5 there's a part where he tries to find that hidden item in the Marquis house. No one ever managed to find his item but the MC was the only one who managed to guess where the item is

For example, how is it possible after dozens of chapters of interacting with the ML following his reincarnation, he still didn't recognise him? So what if his eyes were a different colour? Did he not think the way his subordinates acted around him was too deferential for even a military commander? He underwent extensive Regas training in the mountains with a qualified instructor who, judging by the MC's brief moments of brilliance, also taught him politics and military tactics. So how s*upid is it that he apparently doesn't know military ranks, calling the ML "Commander-in-Chief"? Before his reincarnation, he at least had a robust, strong body resistant to poisons and illness – that is to say, moments where he showed cleverness were easily accepted alongside his abnormal physical strength as part of what made him the chosen one (the Emperor's Regas). But the author nerfed him so bad, and for what? Just because the new body is more attractive? That serves no real use in the plot.

I like him, he's a nice and smart protagonist, and to be honest I totally understand him not recognizing Karas earlier, he had only known him as a child for a month, and he had gone blind prior to his death. Moreover, Karas doesn't communicate at all. I just kinda dislike that men right and left fall for him for his looks, kinda find it cringeworthy. His whole character after the first volume reads as if he is stripped of his male identity by both characters and author.

I find his character so unsettling. I understand why he turned this way, but he's a ruthless tyrant who takes the lives of people as if he's drinking water, and doesn't even bother listening to anyone else, just does as he pleases. Well, probably except for Abel. I emphasise that understand why he turned the way he is right now, and I do find him pitiful due to his tragic background, but I can't bring myself to like him at all. I can't see him next to Abel, who is a sweetheart. Additionally, their first kiss was non-consensual, which made me feel even more hostile towards him. Even if he gets a character development, I don't think I will be able to ever take a liking to him.

I feel like author is trying so hard with the unconditional love trope, to the point it's becoming a bit unrealistic, e.g. Abel, a sweet and soft person, liking Karas despite witnessing his ruthlessness, even before knowing that he's the prince.

Nonetheless, I still love the story. I find this whole political conflict intriguing and would like to see where it is headed.
