Abel, who received training to become Regas from his master, meets the prince who will become the future king.
“Wow, it’s the first time our eyes have met. Let me introduce myself again. My name is Abel, Your Highness.”
The young prince, who was ab*sed and hurt by his mother, did not open his heart to anyone. Until then, no Regas had been able to endure him.
However.
“Since Your Highness looks so frightened, I feel I should stay by your side.”
Only Abel was able to open the prince’s heart.
“As long as I’m alive, I will stay by Your Highness’ side.”
“…Eppel.”
However, due to the scheming of the ‘King’s Heart’ which had effectively controlled the king and produced the king’s Regas, Abel eventually dies.
* * *
And after 12 years have passed.
In the meantime, the once young prince has become an adult and ascended to the throne as the emperor, unifying the continent through wars, but the ‘King’s Heart’ still remains intact.
Abel, who has gained a new life, and the prince who became an emperor.
Can these two people recognize the changes in each other and destroy the ‘King’s Heart’?

I don't understand why, but the MC reincarnating and hiding their identify is a trope that happens pretty often in Korean manhwa/novels (along with an obsessive ML). One of the main reasons I liked this story was because the MC wasn't the average skinny bottom, but he becomes one when reincarnating.
Instead, both the MC and ML are unable to properly communicate with each other. It is extremely frustrating seeing the MC trying to piece together what the ML wants because the ML simply doesn't say very much. The MC also doesn't try and put up any boundaries even when he is uncomfortable (such as when the two are in a single bed during volume 3). So far the ML has almost (intentionally) killed the MC multiple times, and used the MC as a meatshield in volume 2. This is even called out by fodder characters for being an as*hole move. However the MC isn't bothered by this for some reason?? It becomes glaringly clear how unnaturally kind, forgiving, and naive the MC is, even though he doesn't know the identity of the ML yet. The MC's characterization is not consistent, although he is kind in the first volume, he is also smart, and does a lot for the young prince with what little power he has. However, once he is reincarnated, the MC becomes insanely naive. It makes no sense for someone who was able to understand that they were being poisoned to not understand the ML's intentions when he deliberately put the MC into a one bed room with him. The MC's kind attitude towards the ML is even weirder when you consider that the MC has no idea the ML is the prince he used to care for. Being saved a few times doesn't negate all the mistreatment you have received from someone. Why doesn't the MC act even a bit more wary of someone who doesn't communicate and kills innocents? I am repeating this for the third time because I feel it's important: the MC has no clue that the ML is the prince as of volume 3! The novel would be radically more different, and probably better written, if the other characters simply told the MC that the ML is the prince. For the MC, it has only been like a month since he was taking care of the young ML. Of course the MC wouldn't feel any immediate romantic interest for the ML, even if he is an adult now. But the slower, and more natural development, of their feelings would have been so much better than being forced to share a bed.
The very first time they kiss is when the MC is very drunk, and obviously can't give consent.
It is currently very poorly used and feels like massive wasted potential. The MC now has a family again, a rich and doting one, but rushes off without considering their feelings at all. It is also mentioned how the MC thought about the original body when burying his new hair, but it is also never mentioned again! This novel would have been so much more interesting if the MC actually considered/acting with the implications of a new body/family.
