This story is pure fluff and their relationship is already built. It's adorable how it's the shou is always pampering the gong by feeding him and everything. They've been married for 5 years, which it stated on the first chapter. Each chapter is short but cute, and in the 5th chapter, we get some smu smu. Anyway, this is a story for who just want sweetness and fluff, with a tsun gong and a pampering shou.

Just felt like sharing a glimpse of this adorable fool—I mean, the ML before starting my review hehe:

Surprisingly, the pacing was perfect and easy to keep up with! I was honestly expecting it to be rushed mainly due to the fact that this novel only has 20 chapters. As for the storyline, it was neither simple to the point of being boring, nor complicated to the point of being stressful. From the beginning till the very end, it was engaging. If you're looking for a fluffy danmei with a healthy and lovable couple (and lil bit of uncensored spice thrown in), then I assure you that this novel is absolutely worth your time. The only downside is that you might feel single after reading this novel brimming with dog food...

C h a r a c t e r s : 🍓୨

↬Shen Shujie - Either he actually likes cooking/baking or he just likes to spoil the ML with his favourite treats (or maybe both) because he's always making something for him in the novel, and it's the cutest thing ever! I also love how he's really understanding, kind, hard-working and have a personality of his own. He isn't some empty character purely made for the readers to self-insert into.

↬Jiang Haofeng - He seems ice cold on the outside but on the inside, he's just a soft teddy bear with a sweet tooth and tendency—nope, a habit to be clingy. He's like a cat, always acting like he doesn't want to cuddle but then behaves like a wronged harem concubine whenever the MC doesn't pay any attention to him.

Their relationship started as a marriage contract so they're already a married couple from the first chapter. There's no major power imbalance between them despite the marriage contract trope and they're domestic as heck.

The only reason I gave it a 4/5 was because I'm not much fond of shous being called a 'wife' just because of their position, and here, the MC was addressed as the ML's 'wife' by literally every character in the novel. If they're both men, they're husbands. If they're both women, they're wives. One person doesn't need to play woman and the other doesn't need to play man in a gay relationship. Anyways, I won't go any deeper into this subject because although it's very annoying, this novel isn't the first one to do this nor will it ever be the last, so I guess it can still be ignored. And it doesn't really effect how much I enjoyed the main cps interactions.

The sweetness will give u diabetes. MC is adorable, ML is adorable and the entire story is super-duper adorable.

Their love is soooo fluffy.

T/L rate: 5/5

A must-read especially if you want to relax your heart and feel the love in the air (& pages) again.

This is a very cute and sweet short story. A well established harmonious married couple. But turns out to be journey of MC realising when he truly fell for ML and serving the red bean ice as the answer to his husband's love. It had one respectful gong I ever read.

Usually, people said how respectful the gong is, but not many is like ML here. He is tsundere but worked hard to tsundere-ishly pursued MC and proposed after the fire episode. He saw MC probably bored being "housewife", he asked what MC wanted to do and give it to him. Wow. When MC working, how sour and unwilling he is inside, he never once controlling or overbearingly managed MC. I super love the part ML never involved in MC's career due to MC's wish. Nice to see that MC slowly realised that ML basically fall for him at first sight (as opposed to MC that fall in love after marriage), and then after fulfilling his wish to be great actor, he basically retired to be his husband pastries chef and teased the tsundere to his heart content lol. After all, he didn't really love acting lol, he is just the type to try his best in something he do.

Uhm.... knowing eachother for 4 years, married for 5 years.... it took MC 9 years to fall in love and ML 9 years to confess... communication is not their Forte.

It's an ok story but nothing special. Maybe I don't like this cause I dislike it when couples are not able to simply speak out their feelings and problems.

I've rediscovered my belief in love after reading this novel!

To be honest, it's not usual for me to read a story about a married couple and find them entertaining (in fact, I was even traumatized by many of them), but this story is so cute and uplifting that I was smiling and giggling from start to finish.

The characters are charming and sweet, and their interactions are both fun and heartwarming. The writing is also excellent, and the story flows at just the right pace. Every moment, from the sweet romance... more>> to the amusing scenes, is enjoyable. It's truly a lovely read that leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Oh my... love it so much...I'd rate this novel over 5 stars if I could! One of the best short novel. The translation is well done too!

Sweet+cute+humorous+smut+originality... perfect length... so well balanced... left me light 💓 as much as enjoying a real "red bean ice" cup🍹🥰

I was just looking for a short story to fill the spare hour I had. In the end I spent more than 2 hours slowly reading, because I was enjoying it too much. This story was so perfect and the several s*x scenes were soooo HOT!!!!

So glad I stumbled on this little gem without knowing what this story was about!

This is the story of a super Tsundere CEO gong (the filthy rich one) & his beautiful little wifey, who becomes an actor just because he had no idea... more>> how to pass his idle time after marriage.

The gong is an EXTREME VINEGAR JAR. You follow their married life, the Gong's antics being a tsundere vinegar jar and how his adorable, handsome shou appeases the Gong's temper. Not only is this story super HOT but super funny as well. Enjoy!!

I literally left this on my list of "maybe I will read it someday but not now because it doesn't seem that interesting to me."

Wow.

I regret it.

This was so wholesome and cute and fluffy and adorable.

I'm very disappointed that I didn't give this one a chance until now. It's so refreshing to read after all the depressing ones I have read. Lol.

I absolutely recommend it. Read it for daily fluff on the go.

Loved it!!! Rarely get to see a tsundere gong or ml. Generally they are either shameless and blackbellied or cold and aloof. Tsundere mls are just so adorable 🥰

Wholesome of sweeto fluff and lovely dynamic between the two leads wrapped up neatly in 22 chapters.

Short and sweet... it has funny and interesting characters, great smut, delicious food and fun dialogues. I love tsundere ML so much, his tsun personality is very cute. Also, I loved MC's approach to his acting career. He basically treats it just as a day job, only taking roles in line with his limited abilities and has no aspirations of becoming film emperor... lol... this was really a fun read... next time I read it will be with some great Red Bean Ice <3

Just like the title

The gong is a huge vinegar jar but the MC always can deal with him splendidly

I love their interactions and the ending is so sweet

This is a light short story that you can read while eating ice cream

Like it's title, this novel is so incredibly sweet and refreshing! ML is easily the cutest, tsundere character I've had the pleasure of reading. All his antics from sending "hate" comments on Weibo in jealousy, to backtracking and doing his best to hide his affections, to his convoluted actions of showing care to the MC... gosh it's so cute!

This novel is a good deviation if you're into entertainment novels but are tired of the MC being incredibly gifted in acting/is a famous bigshot on screen. While our CP has the... more>> stereotypical archetypes of being a rich CEO and small actor, this whole novel is focused on their home life and love. MC isn't acting cos he likes it or he wants to be famous, he legit just did it cos his husband introduced it to him LOL. In fact, his true talent lies in making sweets... Which is great because it feeds his little vinegar jar of a spouse.

It's short enough to read in one sitting and I guarantee it'll leave a sweet taste in your mouth. Easily one of my fave short novels hehe I loved it a lot. <<less

Tsundere but doting Gong✔️ Very understanding Shou✔️

Each chapter although very short, it still gives you a lot of fluff and funny moments. I love how the little wifey understands his husband's silliness and how the husband in return dotes and protects his wifey although most of the time he's eating vinegar.🤣🤣🤣

This is a really nice novel it's like a mini fairytale story but BL style.😍

Short, fluffy, sweet. Been putting this off because there wasn't much description and it's short.

Smut 3/5, not bad but the lead up is quite random, so insufficient build up and description makes it a bit hard to fully enjoy.

The leads have certain points of cuteness, but it's trying to squeeze a lot of things into a very short novel, so I struggled to get invested in the couple.

Maybe it's because I don't like love at first sight that isn't built upon, and the MC feels quite useless in general (LOL),... more>> I prefer stronger leads. ML's tsundere-ness is cute.
