The Story started of great and I was having some misgivings for ML because he was half into the world of being a psychopath having an increasing obsession towards the MC. But these misgivings slowly started leaving in the ABO World where the ML realized that he started caring for MC more than just a possession. The MC also slowly accepts the ML without much trouble and did not keep thinking about the fact that he was man. The transformation of the ML till where I have read is natural... more>> and does not seem forced. Although I felt that the relationship progressed a bit fast but considering the arcs they have been in and the personality of the ML and MC realizing his feelings, I would say that It was not a surprise.

Each arc was well constructed and kept your attention and the translation was also wonderful. I am gonna wait for the translator to update till here because I just MTL'd to know the ending of the arc I was reading.

EDIT: I finished it! It was really good! The ML although Yandere did not force the MC and the problems were solved quickly. I had hoped for more chapters but the author ended in a good place. One of the better BL novels.

This is a good book with a good plot and I implore you all to read it.

Another must-read BL novel! MC is super cute, ML is crazy possessive. Despite that, there's no r*pe/ dubcon, which makes me like the ML so much more. The worlds are pretty interesting and the overarching plot was well-thought out. I hate system stories that don't explain how the characters transmigrated or how they're granted powers etc. The intimate scenes are tastefully done as well.

What I really liked :

Spoiler
 • Cute panda MC
 • From the Save Disk mission, Su Rui. He was a perfectionist, easily irritated and disgusted by little mistakes but he chose to give up his life for his friends.
 • MC and ML got married in the omegaverse world! I thought that was super sweet.
 • It's really heartwarming how MC and ML share the power to become a God because MC truly understands ML's insecurities, and fully trusts ML.
 • MC and ML get to spend time with MC's family as cats!!
 • The last scene. We have each other. That's all we need.

It was very well written! Simple, fluffy with a spice of angst in it. It hooked me so badly that I practically glued my face onto my phone's screen to wait for an update. The MC, although quite dense but he isn't s*upid at all to bring harm to himself. ML, is my all time fav? I admit that I LOVE male yandere. Maybe some people can't cope with ML's personality because his brain gone wrong but he is loveable to me!! ≫< Maybe this story could be on par... more>> with FOD. <<less

One word for this: Superb!!

The 2 main characters are very likable, they each have their quirks which makes them unique and irresistable to the other.

Each plot developments and mission worlds are very well freshed out.

... more>> There are funny, sad and anguishing moments in btw while we follows MC who is OP, not as an individual, but as system; he's cute and naive, but naturally quick-witted in surviving and placating ML's tendencies to go psycho/yandere. Love is maybe a bit fast-paced (not yrs like other QT) , but very satisfying and lovely as they adjusts to the other while we reaches the climax of each mission worlds.

Their relationship and emotional development came to fruitful due to MC's emphathy, honesty and willingness to accept ML; and from ML initial possessiveness to wanting to understand MC better and cherishing him; their intimacy and strong emotions for the other increases through each worlds, breaks, and ML real world✨.

Do read it! You'll not regret the time spending on it, swear!

Ps. The translator is also very lovely, love her notes/panda, and thanks to the helpers that came during her busy period as well~ <<less

This novel is great! MC is so sweet and cute, definitely a very likable character. ML might be a little crazy, but he never pushes MC too far, which is rare to see in a yandere ML.

Spoiler

They don't have their first time until they get married in the ABO arc and it's gasp consensual.

[collapse]

The settings for each arc are pretty well developed, although the length of each arc is variable. Despite that, none of the arcs feel stale and they're all enjoyable. I would have liked the series to have gone on a little longer and the ending was a little rushed, but it was still a heartwarming ending.

Too bad there weren't many explicit scenes.

Spoiler

It was pretty funny cause the author made a note about it.

Author: I want to write smuttttt!!!
Editor: I don't have time to bring you food in prison

Hahahahha damn censorship getting the best of us.

Well, I didn't finished this novel at all but the beginning is really cute and I love the possessive behavior of the host. Really, it's so funny and cute! And most of the time, you want to hug Shi Qing for being such a naive and sweetheart character... It's a really good novel, and unexpectedly, it isn't some basic transmigration story, with SQ being a system, it's kind of refreshing!

2/5. It's not terrible, but... it's just not my cup of tea. The relationship between the MC and the ML isn't balanced and the ML has more power over MC despite being the host of the system.

The characters are cliche and boring. The ML is your typical cold silent (kinda) yandere type while MC is the cute and shy klutz who gets constantly teased and pushed around by the ML. Frankly not a dynamic I'm fond of. While I know many (many) female readers love that type of relationship, the... more>> power unbalance is just not enjoyable nor attractive to me.

Next, the ML falls in love (obssesses over) MC way too fast, way too easily. I could understand if the MC was at least charismatic and had something that made him unique, but he's frankly boring. Like I said, he doesn't have much personality beside being your typical bullied shou. The ML is also someone who has been abused and betrayed by many of his loved ones through his entire life, which is why I have a very hard time accepting that he would clutch onto the first rando who shows him hope. He's been here before, so while I know he was at a low point in life he shouldn't be so blindly trusting of the MC.

The ending was alright. Came out of nowhere and felt too easy, MTL made it a bit confusing, but it wasn't boring or rushed, so that's a plus.

All in all, it's fine. Nothing extraordinary, many cliches and wasted opportunities, but not terrible. Still bitter about the ABO world. Rolled my eyes hard when
Spoiler

it was revealed that the MC was actually an omega. Would have been so much more interesting to keep MC as a beta but noo, author had to go the easy route and keep the unbalanced power dynamic between him and ML. A shame.

Would recommend if you like that kind of relationship dynamic and aren't looking to read something deep and touching. <<less

I give this book a 2/5, but if I could, it would be a 2.5

This book isn't necessarily bad, per se. But it isn't by any means good, or even average, either.

It's very simple, with little to no depth with regards to world-building and character interactions. I guess you can't expect much more from a story that constantly bounces around to new worlds, but that doesn't change the fact that everything feels so shallow.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't start reading this story expecting it to be the next 1984.... more>> However, I did expect that it would at least be interesting enough, fluffy enough, for me to ignore all the shortcomings.

And for a while, it was. But I was getting bored of having to read about new characters and settings every 10 seconds, none of which were strong on their own. It was like wading through lukewarm water.

It started to feel like there was nothing really happening. Sure, the MC and ML were completing the tasks and earning the points, but to what end? So little would happen in the ML's og world every time they returned that it felt completely pointless.

This could have been made up for by having interesting characters, but the MC and ML are so bland even dry paint has more flavor. Especially the MC. He can't make up his mind about his feelings and constantly jumps back and forth on the matter, and it's annoying to no end. His "depth" is that he's ditsy and wants to come across as strong, since "that's what real men are." 🤦‍♀️

But with the start of the

I actually enjoy Reborn as a System (RAAS) a lot. It doesn’t have a perticularly deep plot or unique premise but it’s enjoyable. The characters are interesting, strange even, and it doesn’t stress you out like some novels. RAAS is an enjoyable light read or a guilty pleasure.

However, it’s hard for me to get through the current arc. It’s not really about the MC but the side characters. It just felt a bit wrong. I’m lying. Rather than the actual event in the story it was reading some of the... more>> reader’s comments. Like we all know bl normalizes a lot of messed up things, but we all know it’s not actually appropriate.

I don’t if I’m older than most of the other readers but it left me uncomfortable.

Spoiler

So basically, in the current arc, the side relationship had an age gap of 20/30 years. Those are predatory relationships. Definitely not okay. Age gaps usually of that nature evolve from grooming. This is actually not what occurred in the story at least to my knowledge, but the fact that the older party is a maybe “unrelated uncle” just makes me so uncomfortable.

Then we got “ if you won’t let us be together I’ll kill myself”... honestly yikes.

Next everyone makes it seem like the patriarch is unreasonable for being against this relationship. This man is actually very controlling and a horrible guardian, but that doesn’t discredit that he’s right about this.

But there’s more. The main factor allowing this relationship is love defeats all barriers. Like No The FUQ IT DOESN’T! Love needs conditions and boundaries.

Anyway, the author glamoraizes this relationship consequently “whitewashing” (for lack of a better word, I’m tired lma). However, this is done to be consistent with the overall plot of “love conquers all”. It’s really just support for the ongoing motif. I really just read this reacting shock, laughter and then an eye roll.

My issue is the genuine support for a relationship that is beyond inappropriate. Like ??? Is this therapy and we’re providing unconditional positive regard because this is not how it works. I just can’t because if you put any of this in a RL situation... SO MANY RED FLAGS.

I wasn't complaining before because it fiction. But some of us are internalizing. I see now why there’s the whole “it’s not just fiction” advocates. I apologize for not supporting y’all before.

Realistically, it plays into the infantization of women. This is especially true for Asian women. Please don’t give me the whole they’re men because of the societal association of feminity with gay men especially within the connotation of an omegaverse.

Y’all really ruined my day. How am I supposed to read my toxic romances knowing some of y’all believe this sh!t”

[collapse]

Anyway, I’m just ranting as per usual. <<less

I can certainly tell that I've almost never placed bad rating on a novel. But all that perfect reviews made me irritated.

This novel is boring as hell. It has shallow plot. No action.

The most important point - as a reader, in pretty much every other novel you are a bystander who can observe inner thoughts of the protagonist, and that's helps to create immersion, like, A LOT.

But here, you are a bystander of a bystander (mc) of the ml. MC does nothing except observing, no action included, no inner thoughts... more>> except constant panic. Useless, irritating, and NOT interesting in the least!!!

And don't make me recall the brain dead dialogs or blind love from the first sight.

Utterly disappointed. <<less

Although it might not be anything super unique, this is one of my favorite novels. When I feel like I need something to cheer me up, I read this because I simply adore novels where the MC and ML love each other and show their love a lot. There isn't too much extreme plot or any twists, but the last chapter almost made me cry.

it’s a good plot and has good characters, I like that the MC is the system and we get to see the system POV. The arcs are ok but it’s like the usual qt novels and ig the one I rmbr the most is the zombie arc bc it’s a bit different from zombie arcs in other qt well tbh zombie arcs r diff in many qt and this one isn’t particularly remarkable.
still there’s some new concepts here apart from the system POV we also get an ML who... more>> can go back to his own world and has a story in his own world and it wasn’t like he just died there or smthing so that’s fun. <<less

This QT book is great. The MC is really cute and the ML is so possessive. The worlds all vary and this is one of the very few novels ive read where the MC is actually the system, not the one with a system. Its a good change of pace and I like it a lot.

A different system novel than the usual system trope. The MC is the system and we have a male yandere.

The translator has done a great job.

I love the fact that in between world-hopping, the MC and ML have to return to the ML's original world and the story (ML's) continues as the novel continues.

MC might seem childish but that's because he was spoiled by his parents and older brother.

ML is the brain of the duo but is a psychopath. He will destroy everything if he loses MC.

Overall rating: 4.5

It was fun and sweet. I liked how they had a trusting relationship. Towards the end it got a bit crazy for me, but I was satisfied with the last few sentences.

Spoiler

Although the ML had the common possessive attitude seen in this type of novels, he never forced the MC. I felt like he was very respectful of his choices and what he wanted to do, which was nice to see. In the end they only had each other and that was enough.

A fairly sweet story, possessive and insecure host + accommodating system. The MC being the system was an interesting change of pace at first, but it became more like typical "quickly wear" novels as it went on. So not super original, but not boring, either.

This story is just good. One MC is super nice and kind, the other MC is psychopathic and crazy (due to life exp).

Perfect match made in heaven if you ask me.

The idea is unique. MC is the golden finger (system) while ML is the host.

The misgiving for me is MC didn't felt like a system at all. It's like he was just operating it in someway because the one who gave the mission is not him and he also don't have any privilege at all. He is like a host who need to travel the world for points.

The next one is the worlds. Some world are too fast that I don't feel the world at all. Some world is too... more>> slow that all I read was inner dialogue. But some world is fine.

I love the character. The setting they have isn't unreasonable. There's a reason why ML is possessive and why MC is naive.

I like it but I don't know if I'll read it again. Maybe in the future. <<less
