The novel is actually very good, it's not boring.

The Female Protagonist (Su Ruan Ruan), I like her character very much. I actually didn't like a FL with a rude, cold, or shrew personality because with that personality, the FL's reputation in public is always bad and I didn't like it. And the FL in this novel surprisingly didn't have that personality, which I thank of because a lot of rebirth novel that I have read they all have this cold, rude and shrew personality which I dislike (because it's getting... more>> boring, cliché and because apparently it makes the FL 'different from other girls') and the FL reputation in the village is very good. She's a filial daughter and very good at her studies. So that's why a lot of people in her village like her. I wouldn't say she's a strong girl that can do everything in her own but she's also not weak that she need to be saved and help by the ML every time.

Spoiler

Well sometimes I dislike the FL for being too kind sometimes, I do remember that her biological mother and biological sister often came to trouble her because the FL didn't give them any foods, clothes, and tickets which the FL before rebirth did gave them those things and now they're finding troubles for the FL because they think she's starting to change didn't gave them anything after her rebirth.

They came to the FL's house and start making trouble and the FL is just, you know talking that even if she's their biological daughter they didn't gave them anything, she also said that they didn't even hug or you know her some love and that she doesn't have any responsibility to gave them foods, clothes, tickets or money. I didn't like how she just talk about her biological family whenever they came to trouble her, sometimes she uses some violence to her biological younger brother and sister but that's it.

And she didn't even think about getting revenge for being used by her biological family. You know her adopted grandmother died because of her biological sister and she also died because of her biological mother but after rebirth she didn't even calculate them to have misfortune. She just wait for them to make trouble then will avenge herself after the troubles they make. But overall I didn't like how the FL handle her biological family.

[collapse]

But I like her golden finger, a supermarket space.
Spoiler

The novel didn't specify if the foods and things in her supermarket space is infinity or not, but in the novel I remember that foods and things in the space didn't seems to be exhausted. I like how she uses her supermarket space to improve her and het grandmother's life, on how she uses it to sell in the black market so she could have money and tickets. On how she help the village because she gave them fertilizer.

[collapse]

Overall in her golden finger, I'm very satisfied.

About the ML:

Spoiler

The ML (Xiao Chengjin), he's the village chief grandson, both of his parents have a job in the country or city, while his older sister also have a job in factory because of the FL. He's also very good at his study, and I think he's also a village tyrant or school bully. I like how the ML didn't have some peach blossoms (In Chinese culture, peach blossoms are often associated with love and romance). He's actually like a tsundere in front of FL and the FL knows it, so the interaction between them is actually funny and kinda romantic. I like how both of them improve with each other, on how they became workers and helping each other to improve each other.

[collapse]

What I didn't like in novel here, and I actually skip that chapters.

Spoiler

Is where they both travel to the ancient place, they became a 5 or 6 years old child. And both of them kinda help their family in ancient to open up business, make some money and the FL actually learning medicine and worship a master. And I skip that part because I didn't see any sense for the author to add that kind of plot, maybe for the ML to learn doing business or something and for the FL to learn traditional medicine?

[collapse]

The ending is kinda rush, but it's okay because I enjoy this novel. I very recommend you to read this if you like slow pace novels. <<less

Its too draggy and boring. By the time I reached chapter 500 I started skipping chapters because it has too many filers that isn't even important to the story. You can skip a whole 50 chapters and you won't miss a thing. I am currently at chapter 800 and at this point I already dropped this novel because its just a waste of time. I am really curious about the person who gave the poison to the MC's sister but its not worth it. When I think that I have... more>> to read more chapters just to know that my head hurts. <<less

Disappointed with this novel especially the romance and the space cheat explainations.

It's an interesting cheat but it isn't really explained well even 200 chapters in. I don't know if the items are replenished or not after taking them out and supposedly things kept in the space are still in time (fresh) but somehow a watch works inside the space. It's not really explained well or really explained at all.

I do not like how clingy and stalkerish the male lead is. It doesn't seem like a build of romance just the... more>> one-sided obsessiveness

Spoiler

and then they propose marriage to each other when it doesn't feel like it's two sided romance but one sided. The entire time the FL is platonic but she just accpets it

(2nd Reread: 02/12/2023) I tried to reread, my impression is a little better than the first time, and I went a little further. But I hold to the same impression as before. It's a bit boring and slow-moving. From the very beginning, everything was set up for the FL. Not only did she have a limitless space with everything she needed, she also defeated those that ruined her in her first life, and oh, the ML was interested in her (for no apparent reason) from the very beginning. Like... more>> this, the story seemed overly indulgent. If you want to enjoy that kind of easy, self-indulgent story, it's not so bad. But yeah. In my opinion, it's a bit too stale.

So I'll be rating this now. 1.8/5. At least it's enough to round up to two stars? XD. It's pretty bad LOLOL. I thought the ML was cute at times, but that's about all that I thought was good outside of the setting and stuff (which was at least kinda detailed). As for the FL. Well, the FL was too Mary Sue and Dull. Even when she supposedly smartened up, she had absolutely nothing to her outside of the cheats given by the author, that was anything worth noticing. She had no clear desires and no fears. Making her appear very static as a character. You know, like she's just a cardboard cutout being lead around by the author.

OLD REVIEW: It's okay. No TL tho. I think it's a bit too slow moving. I thought the magical space would be explored more. But with the short chapters I guess it's a later thing? Mostly; I'm confused about why she doesn't tell anyone about the space. This isn't a transmigration novel but a time travel novel. As someone from the 60s, would she honestly keep such a good thing from her beloved grandma??? Sure, feudal superstitions and whatnot may have prevented her from saying anything. But she's meant to be a super simple girl who got cheated for everything she had because of her sister and mother. It's not very realistic or consistent, suffice to say. So, if I go back to reread it later, must remember that. It's also a bit confusing, but that could be the poor TL that I read. <<less
