Description
Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Su Yanyi: The president of Resplendent Entertainment, the legendary Entertainment Queen, and the support pillar every artist wanted.
She lost everything to one scheme, and only then did she realize that the man she had always treated with coldness and indifference was actually deeply in love with her. At the end of her life, she was left with endless, irreparable regret.
“If I am given another life, I will make every single person who owed me pay me back a hundredfold, and I will do everything within my power to ensure you a safe and happy life!”
Maybe her persistence was simply too impressive, because in the blink of an eye, she returned to a time three years ago and obtained a very special System—The Virtuous Wife System.
Was this telling her that she had been the Entertainment Queen for too long, so she should try something new and become a virtuous wife instead?
Qin Jiran: The new generation Film Emperor, handsome and domineering, a lofty male god in the eyes of countless fans.
In his entire life, he only ever loved Su Yanyi. It was a pity that she did not love him back, and even after three years of marriage together, it was all still just a contractual transaction to her.
“Yanyi, do we have to divorce?” Hidden within the man’s cold, hard expression was deep sorrow and despair.
In both her past life and her present life, their fates intertwined. Su Yanyi was reborn back to the day they were supposed to divorce.
Will she adhere to the choice she had made in her past life, or will she embark on a different path?
With the help of the Virtuous Wife System, the dense and stoic Su Yanyi set out to pamper her oblivious husband, stumbling over her own inexperience as she tried to convince him that no, he was not having auditory hallucinations, and no, she was not feeling ill!
Just, why was the first task —make him smile genuinely ten times— already so difficult?

At first it sounds like a revenge type of book but it isn't, revenge is like 0, 001 part of the book and actual book is about??? It feels like the book is filled with empty slice of life stuff and mls cooking takes half of the book that's why I found somewhat boring since I prefer a mix of revenge and angst or at least some action or anything interesting.
The protagonist and her male counterpart both struggle with social skills, leading to awkward interactions, like her ungraceful praise of an assistant:
" You, not bad" I mean wtf is this? Are you a robot that's just started to interact with humans?
Both characters are pretty shy and their relationship just too slow and without any substance...
They're cold so if there was no rebirth no system and no enemies these two would never get together.
And about book, it lacks narrative and substantial dialogue, the netizens comment take half of book, I mean. The leads talk to each other two or three sentences in every 5 chapter and that's it.
And author randomly inserts info they never really open up about like mentions of the protagonist's family involved in mafia-like activities, but fails to explore these themes deeply, which could have added needed excitement and coherence to the plot.
Overall, the book misses opportunities to develop its characters and plot, leaving much to be desired in both romantic and narrative substance.
System is the most interesting thing about the book imo and normally systems are background helpers
I only started to reading cause I was told FL is top and ML is bottom but I think they're both bottoms
Okay their socially challenged interactions were a bit funny in early chapters and system was interesting and characters aren't annoying so I'll give 3.5

- MC's revenge is childish: Dear God. Where do I even start with this one? Should she eliminate 9 generations of her enemies' families for her revenge to fit the 'queen' scale? What even is that? She's vicious. But not excessively so. When she finds her enemy to lack IQ, she stops putting too much effort into it and enjoys her damn life because she rebirthed
lol. I'm glad she's not consumed by revenge. And villains of this level are not worthy for much time to be invested in them either.
CONS: Is this novel without any bad points? No. It is too Mary Sue & Gary Stu-ish. The villains are basically paper villains. The fans and basically everyone loves them too much. It's annoying, but not overly so. I've come to expect it from Chinese entertainment novels. The system is not utilized to it's fullest potential. I felt it was a shame since it was such an interesting premise. I will update this as I read more. I may change my review accordingly based on my position then.
