I never actually thought this would be awesome.

but folks it was awesome! I like how balance the drama and the romance.

Ive read this more than 5x already and its really hard to find good novels which doesn't have those cringy and typical ML dominant abused power and MC soft white lotus.

If your into strong personality MC and supportive ML then you'd like this one.

Fluff so fluffy but plot progress well and character development 1st before Romance and its so fulfilling

Love the equality between partner and MC solve own problem w ML helping only when MC ask it shows ML is confident in MC doing it himself

A good story, even though it was a long journey, it doesn't feel that long. The theme was great and the plot was great, it'll be great if there are more angst between the MC and ML but even without that, the plot went on well.

Basically a rebirth story that shows the rise and improvement of the MC, along with a little bit of romance and fluff. In this particular story I feel that the character development was first and romance second. If you prefer all out romance plot, this... more>> story is not for you. <<less

For me, it is a fantastic novel. I love the interaction between the MC and the ML and I also love the MC's character. He is very independent and capable. Enjoyed how the novel is paced well and that they don't immediately fall in love at first sight. It made the novel much more realistic. There were also ambiguous moments that were filled with tension. Loved those scenes particularly. It's cause though they somewhat have feelings for the other party, they don't seem to say it out. Instead they accept... more>> it and return the small gestures (made it so much sweeter). It may be a little repetitive throughout the novel but honestly, it's a modeling novel so what do you expect the story to have other than modeling?? (Oh though there is acting as well) Personally, I think it's a light and cute read so it's worth trying it out.

Love the counterattack against the 'villains' and the face slapping too! Also love the ending so much!!!! I actually found the novel to be quite romantic :) Like its super sweet and heartwarming and I really enjoyed the 200+ chapters worth of dogfood :> <<less

Read it. Don't hesitate.

I really liket it and never got bored.

The couple is really cute and they believe in each other. Their love never wavered since they established their relationship.

My opinions on the extras :

The extra made me cry (chap 231->237) but I enjoyed reading them.

BUT the extra (chap 138->143) are not my cup of tea... It's the story of 2 other people from the main story. But the vibe of these chapters is completly different from the previous chapters... too dark and sad after sooooo much fluff...

  1. Best mushroom husbands pair
  2. Really loved the dynamics between the couple. Their love did not begin as "love as first sight" or dropped from the sky out of nowhere. It was slowly built up, step by step, before reachinf the deep mutual love level it is today.
  3. MC has very good people skills, mostly due to his past life. He does not take any bullying or slander lying down and knows just how to make the enemy bite their own tail. He also does not take any of ML's nonsense.

I have read this a long time ago and forgot which chapter I was, but I dropped it as mentioned by most of the reviews here, it’s repetitive, to which others (like me) find it boring. It was good at first but when stuffs kept repeating, why would I bother to continue with the read? Might as well skip to the ending. Anyway, it’s not that good nor that bad for me. It has it’s fluffy, sweet moments and some satisfying face slaps at the same time some viscous... more>> ones that shouldn’t have gone overboard. No notable side characters either (at least to where I stopped).

Still, the decision is up to you if you want to read it. This is just my review towards this novel~ <<less

okay here we have many reviews. Some of them said that this novel are great and some of them said that it is a tr*shy novel. But what am I think ? Its fluffy light novel. Yes honestly I dropped it one time cause after read some ch I can only find how op and perfect MC is and a daily boring life of him, I was thinking the story hadnt anythings other than many dog's blood part about how 2 op MC and ML after many misunderstood and soup... more>> opera things are going to be togheter but I pick it up again cause I see this novels in many lists and guess what? I dont have any regret after read it.

yes I dont deny that MC and ML are really op (for ML is kinda annoyong I guess? I mean how could a model just for Designing became topest model ? Even didnt do modeling for many years, really? Are you kidding me?). But I didnt dislike it at all and ML wasnt that proud and annoying guy that I think first, he is really a cute tsundre boy. And yes the story hasnt any special plot, most of it is about how MC and ML defeated villains and face slapping events but its funny and enjoyable. And I like fashion and modeling so even though the story has manythings about it I didnt hate it and its interesting for me.

about the plot and character the first thing is that their love interaction satisfied me. I want to read the scene that MC is hurt or be bullying and ML gone crazy, in this case this novel is a good thing, another thing that I like is

* 2/ 5 at the most.. * In the very first chapter a supermodel from our earth transmigrated into another promising, young and more beautiful model who just committed su*cide over his douchebag boyfriend in a parallel world.. And Voila.. He became the best of the bests in the blink of an eye.. That's right.. Everything changed overnight.. No need to guess the plot anymore.. The protagonist doesn't just have a golden finger, rather he has a Golden body..

* MC is so SO talented that No One except the... more>> ML can be compared.. They are so beautiful, really So Beautiful that it has to be mentioned in EVERY freaking chapter.. Anyway every single human being is charmed by them..

* The ML is as typical as possible.. He is the world's number one fashion designer.. He doesn't even need to walk on the ramp much to become world's number one supermodel for seven years.. Most handsome and versatile man in the whole universe.. To be precise he is The God of the fashion industry..

* MC's ex beau and some other small scale villains are as braindead as a rock.. Pitiful cannon fodders..

* MC's agent is only there to highlight the MC's intelligence.. Gosh !!! Such amazing incompetency.. <<less

Overall, this is fine. I like how cunning the MC can be when provoked. He wasn't the typical saint like type of a character. He wasn't weak, and I like that he has a weakness (ehem, acting). The ML wasn't a control freak, and kind of respectful to the MC. However, if you're sensitive to xenophobia, I don't recommend this novel. Some racial comments/slurs were mentioned, and it's kind of going to attack you if you're from the countries mentioned.

It is not a type of novel I'm reading usually but this is truly a good story. Even for me, not interested in modern days and show biz tags. And also cute. Especially mushrooms.

Main couple is two models and mostly store tells about modeling. It was very new experience for me. We are here to accompany Ming Yu to become number 1 global top supermodel. Story is not boring, characters are not saints and have differences. Some of them you'll like and some is like "why is this guy so... more>> s*upid??", very similar to real world people.

From the beginning I had a strange filling about ML, but with the flow of story I start to like him. He is good to MC, but also has his own thoughts and ways. Love story is slow, but sweet. They start to understand each other more and more.

There is also a comedy under stone which I like.

Also, I like the translation very much. There are some typos with names and small errors, but now much. Translator did a good job.

I read this novel within 3 days, and there were many different emotions. In the end, I even start crying over some parts and that's is quite strangle for me. Mostly I don't cry even when some of characters are dying. But, maybe, it is just me.

I recommend to read it if you have free time, even if you don't read such stories usually <<less

Very sweet and fluffy. Although at the end I was hoping for the MC to be ML's exclusive muse. That's all my dissatisfaction. Overall, it's great. A pair of the best designer x best model.

Reading it for 3rd time, surely one of the best BL novel, the chemistry between the ML and MC is absolutely worth re-reading this novel.

Absolutely love the way how the relationship between ML and MC progresses in a reasonable pace and no unnecessary dog-blood plot between their love.

Even though the story is pretty realistic it doesn't vane the interests of someone who is here for a fantasy ride.

Worth 5 star rating.

I've read many chinese romance novel out of boredom and compared to those this one has less drama, but at the same time it is more ridiculous. I didn't read many reviews before I started reading this else I might have avoided it.

Pretty cool novel and a great journey to the top. It stresses on the journey more than the destination. I don't find it too unrealistic. There are people who are naturally charismatic and who do have the figure for being a model. MC isn't too far off from what is found appealing in modeling.

As for the xenophobia others have commented, it did not completely throw me off nor made me aware of it until I read the reviews and reread the novel. It's there, it becomes obvious when you acknowledge... more>> it, but mostly, it feels more of creating a paradise rather than Chinese patriotism. I did find it a bit disgruntling how perfect the country was, but I couldn't really fault the writer either.

Even when the American guy came and everyone spat against him, it still was understandable to me. I mean, if someone was super racist and hated my country just for its people, I would react viciously too. Like, some of the things he said were rude, especially in a world where fashion is of great influence and he is technically the reader's representative of his country, so... It's not like countries haven't done this before - I mean, Germany for example, completely ostracized and criticized for World War I and II. They might be the trigger, but they weren't the only buildup to the climax.

Still, the MC and ML were the main focuses and it was nice to see their relationship develop. MC doesn't want to rely on ML, great! ML isn't deterred and still courts MC, never too aggressively nor forcefully, great! If you're looking for a story that explores the journey to the top from the eyes of a prodigy, a couple that gives a lot of dog food unashamedly, and a dose of weird quirks and weaknesses, this is your novel. <<less

I'll give the story 4 stars just because towards the end, I started skimming through towards the end of the story. Probably after 200, but everything else was really good. I found the ML and the MC to be super funny. I loved their bickering. It's weird how some people think it's slow but they didn't know each other. Everything started at chapter 30-40 where they started to interact more. The ML is so thick-faced and shameless; it was beautiful. May contain spoilers. I don't know how to make those spoiler boxes so I'll just say it.

This story was simple, fluffy, feel good. I read some complaints about the annoyance of so much emphasis on his looks to the point that whenever he's in a scene it's the best, most perfect, most beautiful, etc to the extreme.

It's about supermodels. It's about his climb to the top. Of course there is going to be excessive amounts being focused on looks and talents. It didn't get to me. It's basically every other... more>> sentence but the story is simple so I was good with it.

It was a guilty pleasure for me because the bad guys get what's coming to them and then some. No one ever gets the upper hand and the ML and MC always win. It's satisfying to see the bullies fall and all their plans backfire on them.

It didn't 5 stars because around chapters 199 to roughly 227 is 95% fan comments discussions and notices of gathering achievements for the leads. It wasn't terrible but it was tedious when I wanted to get back to the main couple. Even though the information is about the couple, it wasn't the same.

The translator did a great job. They also made a wise choice. There were some extras that didn't get translated because they were of a side couple and there was angst in their stories. Rebirth of a supermodel is a perfect story without angst (aside from when the bad guys are defeated) and with only good things happening in each chapter. The few extras with another couple with their angst would have taken away from it.

It's not a deep story. It's just simple and sweet. <<less

Ok. I melted. This story, even if unrealistic with how the world works, is still quite lovely. I really like stories where the couple doesn't have unnecessary drama and is just strong. In both feelings and power.

I know that behind the story were unused potential. Potential that could make it even better. More spectacular. But somehow I just fall for it. Maybe it's because of the time that I read it. Maybe not.
