Really not a fan of the idea of being able to travel between worlds (i.e. The fantasy world where MC has been transmigrated to and where his likely future lover resides and Earth where his business conglomerate resides) after completing the main mission that the MC is given, namely saving the North. This is the idea that was being floated as the perfect solution for the MC and his various needs, wanting to have a romantic relationship with someone from the fantasy world and still maintain his business empire on... more>> Earth.

Honestly this is largely an instinctive dislike, meaning as soon as I read that I just thought "Oh, I don't like that". If I had to elaborate on my reasons for disliking such a setting, I'd have a hard time putting my instinctual dislike into words, but I guess it would be a mix of

1. Being surprised that someone would want to go from a wonderful (and by wonderful I don't mean "nice" but "full of wonder/mystery") world with magic to a plain world without one. In the fantasy world, by the time he completes his mission, he will likely be one of the people at the very top of the world, where in terms of power, status or wealth. And let's be clear, his OP Max-level character will have played a massive role in getting him there.

The idea that he would want to return to Earth where he doesn't have such a massive advantage, where even if he works hard, his company might become wealthy, but not necessarily among the very top companies of the world (again because he doesn't have any advantages on Earth like his max-level character) seems strange.

And even if he becomes incredibly wealthy, let's say the wealthies person on Earth. So what? He'll still be human. He'll die at a 100-120. If he gets cancer or some incurable condition, well he's screwed.

It's different in a magical world. You could become greater than human. Longer lifespan, magical cures, a body resilient to disease or damage. These things are possibilities in a magical world but not on Earth.

2. I don't like that one world sort of gets devalued through the ability to travel between worlds. If you only have one world that you can live in, that has a different sort of weight compared to being in a situation where you can travel to different worlds.

I understand if people disagree, but for me in transmigration stories, being able to travel back and forth between your original world or simply being sent back sort of cheapen the stuff you do in the fantasy world. <<less

Incredible new title. Different spin on isekai + territory development novels and really good pacing. Don’t feel like you’re skipping around but it moves pretty quickly and a lot happens in the 40ish chapters released. Highly recommended.
