It's a pleasant read, but the plot isn't complex or too developed. The characters are also quite flat, moreover the title is misleading. The ML isn't a yandere, as a matter of fact, he is on the really tame side. I hoped for sth different. Most ML's I have seen are more possessive than him and HE IS CALLED A YANDERE? I'M SO ANNOYED, Istg the author just chose this title as clickbait.

Short but sweet. A basic but enjoyable QT for me.

The synopsis is more of a joke than representative of the actual story. The system is quite supportive of the MC and ML despite not showing up much and the purpose of the MC has always been to find and help the ML. As such, this story is mostly romance focused and the plot is relatively shallow for each arc. There's a bit less of the insta-love trope on the ML's side, but rather the MC tending to give the ML... more>> a sense of closeness and familiarity that often quickly turns into love. The yandere-ness also isn't really all that obvious compared to other QTs. We see hints of it but the ML usually suppresses it quite well.

Major gripe: in the 2nd arc the MC and ML stray into danger that they knew full well was going to come with almost 0 preparation. MC literally almost dies (!!) due to their lack of any protection while staying in enemy territory. I was actually raging bc the MC and ML are supposed to be like OP with some sort of SSS level physique but they just are immediately taken down by the villain's people and then MC is starved and almost drowned. One of the dumbest things any MC has done. Another thing is iirc sometimes the ending of certain arcs wasn't actually concluded properly. We would just kinda transition into the next arc without really closing off the previous life.

Overall wasn't bad as a junk food BL QT. Romance was cute and the MC and ML would always be obsessively in love with each other after getting together in each world. <<less

A bit underwhelming.

I don't think there were any plot holes remaining, but I also feel like nothing was really answered. Despite the high number of chapters, the length is quite short, and so everything feels a bit lacklustre and flat.

To be honest, I'm also still feeling a bit confused with the plot. The underlying plot is explained at the end but I don't think it's clear enough - though I don't know if that is due to the writing or if it was lost in translation.

The title and summary, quite... more>> frankly, have nothing to do with the novel. None of the characters are yandere, it may come across subtly at times, but in a very basic way. If anything, the MC cones across as a bit of a sad*st in the earlier arcs.

I also feel that the MC regresses as the novel continues. He starts out quite bold and shameless, but ends up quite the opposite by the end.

I think people have a misconception about this novel. The ML is obsessive, but he's not the yandere candidate. The only person who's flirting is the MC and there is a small reference to the MC being the possible yandere in chapter 47.

This was ok.

The title and description are both kind of misleading. If you're willing to describe the MC as a yandere then this could be considered a soft entry to novels that feature yandere characters. Good for people who are reading it for the first time and underwhelming for everyone else who was looking for a legit yandere MC (or, at least, in my opinion).

Dropping this since the title and summary doesn't really reflect the actual story. I was led to believe this would be about two crazy people who are madly in love but the actual plot is actually tame and not as entertaining as promised.

So far I can't really say much except that the MC doesn't really follow the character settings and that I drop this once but come back to read again. I just realize that people might have gotten confused. I mean, the title obviously meant the MC being the bigshot yandere not the ML. Anyway, I will write a follow up review after finishing everything.
