Description

Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.

He transmigrates into each world as a cannon fodder. The original cannon fodder would always be pregnant when he transmigrates over. He was forced to be a father in every world.

It’s impossible for him to have the child unless…

The former campus king: I will give you 10 million yuan if you have the child.
Xu Ze: Okay.

Rich man: I will give you 100 million yuan if you leave immediately after giving birth.
Xu Ze: No problem.

The slag film emperor: I will give you 200 million, so give me the child.
Xu Ze: Okay.

CEO: I will give you one billion yuan. You worked hard.
Xu Ze: Deal.

After the deal was sealed, the slag men would chase after him with their child.

Xu Ze: This has nothing to do with me.

Let me just say, I feel cheated by the title.

Please continue reading at your own risk, I feel like my entire review is a spoiler.

I can't avoid them when I'm writing this to explain.

... more>> -Each arc is long, as you can see there's 30+ chapters in one arc. This is solely for the first arc. I don't think I wanna continue tho.

-Plot holes, cold MC, indifferent MC

-ML sleeps around, but suddenly starts falling for the body that MC went into. Even tho MC has changed drastically when occupying the body, ML questions it, but always makes up some lame excuse for why MC is acting different despite ML sleeping with the original and interacting with him for MONTHS prior to MC taking over the body.

-ML and MC never really develop romantically, it's more of a physical exchange and ML getting jealous and thinking they're together and MC is like "NAHHH"

-Contrary to the title, MC has little to do with the child. He gives birth and offs himself, system brings his own body to the world for 10 years, he sees the child twice and then f*cks off to the next world.

Why is it so hard to find a cute bun raising story 😩 <<less

I really can't rate this well, because the more I kept reading this novel, the more UNCOMFORTABLE I became. I absolutely hated the almost implicit r*pe situations in this novel. By the second arc, I was already feeling effy but as we reached the third, I absolutely loathed the direction of the character's choice.

The protagonist itself isn't really hateful, on the contrary, his indifferent, slightly pessimistic and exceptionally realistic outlook renders him quite attractive. The world building is also quite well done, and retains logical sense. Though the pacing is... more>> really really slow, the author does take time to create ambiance and express emotional entanglement. The way the novel dealt with mpreg was quite logical and in line with biology to a certain degree.

To me, the attraction of a quick transmigration novel is the overturning of one's eventual character fate. It doesn't have to be dramatic nor face slapping, but it needs to be a proactive stance from the protagonist's side. For me, this is what I was missing while reading this.

Spoiler

I desperately hated how the protagonist seem to accept the scum men to certain degrees after they spontaneous became caring towards him. I understand that since its not the original soul, and does not necessarily have the same emotional entanglement as the original body owners, he doesn't need to readily go for revenge. But I couldn't stand the fact that he knowing about the fate of the original soul and occupied body suffered from these "male leads", still accepted them physically and to a certain degree mentally (-emotionally). Even if you reason it as them being the father of the child in his stomach, they did indirectly cause the death of the protagonist and the child in each of original instance. So should he let them still be as entangled with the original's body?

Another things is that the male leads/fathers turn weird after the protagonist leaves. Its okay in the first arc since its just a little self harm and he has people around who actively participates in his recuperation but instances like the 3rd arc, where the male lead carries around a life size protagonist's doll and treats it as person is very detrimental to the child thats been entrusted to him..... I cannot help but feel bad for a child that grows up in that environment. Even the second arc, I pretty sure the child raised will consider himself an abandoned child adopted. And we don't what the repercussion of growing up with the obvious looks of his father will impact him, especially as his uncle knows of his existence. It seems callous towards these children.

[collapse]

I felt dizzy and thoughtfully about morality and the idea of consent again after reading this. And can only say if your picking this up, thinking it's a sweet parent child BL novel, then don't. This novel is more focused on the entanglement of the pregnant protagonist and the sperm doner father and how the father aka the respective male leads come to regret their choices towards the original body owner after being entranced by the protagonist. <<less

Gotta say, the plot is okaay..😑😑😑 its not the best out there 😄😆

But the MC 😼😻😻😻...

He's the best! 😍😍😍😍😍

I just love how cold he is... so much that he seems scummy 😁😁😎😎 he is very self aware and sticks to his decisions. So unlike other MCs who change their attitudes and plans once they fall in love.

But Xu Ze 😆😆😆!!! Once he decided not to fall in love, he won't. And I LoVe IT! Such a fresh MC😊😊😄😄

Let me preface by saying that I have read my fair share of quick wear/transmigration novels and this one is the first where the tasker had to carry out a child in every world. It's quite refreshing. In the beginning the worlds seemed a bit monotone due to them all being modern. But towards the later part of the novel the worlds switched up a bit and became more interesting.

As for characters... The MC could be considered a bit cold-hearted or unfeeling in the romantic area. Since I am similar... more>> to him in this aspect, I can't really fault him for leaving the ML after giving birth. At least he opened up a bit to the ML towards the end, despite his feelings not yet reaching the extent of those of the ML. One should note that the MC is not completely unfeeling as he always learns to love his child despite the baby supposedly not being his but that of the original body's owner's.

Regarding the ML, he is not always a scumbag. In some worlds he is a scumbag, but begins to care for and love the MC after finding out about the baby. In other worlds he is a loyal dog from the get go. It's a nice change of pace that keeps the story interesting.

As I read I was curious about how the author would wrap up the story because it seemed like the story could go on like this indefinitely since the MC showed barely any character development. When I finally reached the end, I didn't know what to think. I wasn't necessarily dissatisfied nor was I especially happy with the end. I just felt like "Eh, okay" with a mental shrug. For me, in this novel the process seemed to be more interesting than the end goal.

Those who enjoy world-hopping novels and don't mind m-preg would surely enjoy this novel. At least, I did. <<less

This was pretty boring imo. Arc 1 is so unbelievably boring. ML falling in love with MC was cliche and boring, just because MC was coveted by other people, he got jealous. And when MC "conviently" and "nonchalantly" acts a certain way (the way MC's eyes look makes ML's heart beat, MC's sleepy appearance is cute to ML, MC unconsciously smiling at ML), ML falls deeper in love. Like the other reviews say, completely absurd how ML falls in love with MC.

I'd prefer if MC was colder to ML since... more>> he deserves it. But nah all these "unconscious" acts MC does, including the fact that MC can sleep with ML without any feelings, are all conviently plot devices for ML to fall in love.

Spoiler

In Arc 1, MC dies after giving birth and is granted a new body in that same world to get his vacation. Then 2 years later, he meets his son and the son conviently loves MC and ML can't help but love and remember MC.

Honestly I would have preferred if MC survived and just up and left with is money. His contract with ML says he can't appear in front of their son. So I would have preferred MC doing that, and ML regretting it but allows the son to see MC. Basically I just wanted the ML to suffer and never get back together with MC and MC being allowed to see his son.

I read arc 1 and skimmed through other arcs as I'm a bit uncomfortable with those abuse. Yes, abuse. Thought it happen more in the original world toward the original owner but I just can't accept it.

As you can see the other reviews, I was s*upid to believe them. Slight spoilers ahead (?)

I was going to read it with mind saying that MC was cold and all toward his peers and child but ah-hem. Dude, he's cold with his reason. First of all, if MC was to fall in... more>> love and stay together with one of the ML (in any arc in the story) I will burn down the author's home. Seriously man! ML are all scum among scums. The tr*shiest scum of all are them. Even the story "Don't pick up boyfriend from the tr*shbin" won't have these type of scums. They're at least better than these scums here 50%. GUH! Can't tolerate those tr*sh action of them and each arc is so long, I cannot wait to read their abuse but it seems not satisfying to me. It's a bit dull at some point. The revenge wasn't satisfying so I might drop for a while before pick it up again but too much abuse made me want to just go in and slap them one by one as the revenge should be faster damn! <<less

I don’t really get the low rating. In all honesty, it’s not a must read and you’re probably not missing out if you skip. However, I do think it’s better than most of the quick transmigration novels on here.

I think most of the problems people have are with the MC. However, I feel his character is one of the best parts of this novel. Let’s get into it, but let’s first cover our bases.

Plot

I think this is where most people went wrong. They went by the title rather than the... more>> description. In synopsis it states the Xu Zhe was forced into his role as a father. He also easily accepts leaving the world and child behind, but I think he get more hate from that than he deserves. He left the child with his father. Y’all act like he leaves the kid on the side of the road or something.
The synopsis also reveals how he is easily paid off to leave and is very accepting of being excluded as he truly feels nothing for the scum ML. Now the title that misled everyone is a bit of a spoiler.
Spoiler

Xu Zhe despite his indifference begins to become attached to the children he births. It reaches a point where he kind of thinks of them as one child. This becomes difficult for him and he tries to distance himself as he realizes these worlds are not his own and he will in fact not be able to stay and watch his kid grow up. Hence the title

[collapse]

Characters

MC- Xu Zhe: Cold, indifferent, and a bit unsympathetic. He truly does not give a fuq. He did not sign up to be a dad and was done with the most unhelpful system I’ve seen. As an MC be does not deserve the hate he gets. As someone who can physically give birth, getting reborn as a pregnant person is less than desired 🙃. I can understand why Xu Zhe who never even considered the possibility was not willing to give birth or be a father. Why would he stay in a relationship with someone he does not like for a child he does not want? Xu Zhe views himself as an outsider to do task. He views the child as the OG host’s kid and does not think he can forgive the ML because it’s not his place. However, as much as I call him unsympathetic, he’s one of the few quick transmigrators that thought of the original host from time to time and considered what they might have thought.
Spoiler

He actually does change, but only for the child. He does begin to love the children and try to find a way to watch at least one of them till they grow up. I like how the change noticeably happens from not giving birth but raising one of the children although it was a short time. Eventually, he also begins to show some wear and tear after going through so many worlds as his feelings as an outsider solidifies. He begins to sympathize and wanna help other characters out a bit more. He really had a problem the ML and his friends from omegaverse one. I was a bit shocked because usually the MC indifferent but in that arc it was literally on sight. After all those arcs the MC becomes a bit lingering affection for the past MLs but never enough for it to pass over to the current one. It’s also like a very mild, “he kind of did 1 or 2 things”

[collapse]

MLs- the scumbags: the first ML was really just a playboy a$$hole. An entitled rich kid that didn’t wanna settle down. The second ML was strangely charismatic but I could never get over the uncomfortable feeling from what he did. JAIL for him! I will never feel sympathy for him and wish him the worst. I think the third was the alpha. Really just an self centered loser. I think the 2nd and 3rd were the worse, but it’s debatable. The best ML goes hands down to Ha Dou or Han Duo... I can’t remember. All I know is he deserved better.
Spoiler

I do feel feel like Xu Zhe should have gave Han Duo a chance because unlike the other MLs he was actually not a scumbag and was trying. Although, I do get that MC didn’t trust him and wasn’t willing to risk it.

[collapse]

At the end of every arc I never felt bad for any of the MLs with one exception. And some of them deserved worse. The author actually comments about how weak we are for feeling bad for the ML after he gets his just dues. I can tell by her comments that she’s just here for a good time and is not taking this too seriously and I’m here for it.

The baby- MC’s #1 fan: I do think it’s a bit weird how mature the baby is on every world. They’re a bit too developed.
Spoiler

Xu Zhe never leaves the world without guaranteeing the baby’s safety. He always leaves the baby with a reliable guardian even if it’s not the father. I actually do not like with Xu Ze’s or the MLs parenting style. They’re not bad parents. You can really say that they’re actually very good parents but it’s not my preference.

[collapse]

The MCs bestfriend- the ML I deserved: In every world the MC has a best friend and some are better than others but they are always top tier. He’s the ML I wanted but the MC and him are never interested in each other romantically. It’s always platonic from both sides despite MC literally having seduced every other character in the arc unknowingly.
Spoiler

In one of the arcs he’s left to raise the child

[collapse]

The MLs bestfriend- a hot mess: sometimes the villain, sometimes a helper, often a h0e. Not always a bestfriend but is someone close to the ML that also falls for the MC. Is usually scum along with the ML but is at times helpful.
Spoiler

receives 2nd hand punishment sometimes.

[collapse]

wow, this review is long

Takeaway: The plot does have plot holes but I can’t remember the last time I cared in a quick transmigration, it’s a good and easy read. The MTLs are also pretty understandable. <<less

Well... I like MPreg and romance with great parenting subplot, which is exactly this, but this is not what I am looking for.

Actually the premise is great: he gets transmigrated into a male body which can get pregnant and is pregnant when he took over, the original owner used to be lovers with the other father of the child, and the ML will slowly warm up to them (MC and child).

Here's the reasons that killed the story for me:

Spoiler
    • The MC so fckin cold, like real cold, a scum, and a manipulator.

I mean, I get it, it was emphasized I think more than 5 times in Arc 1 alone, it was related on how he grew up... but this one is too much. In Arc 1, it was mentioned a few times, especially when he's nearing his labouring, that he's already attached to the child and has some affection for it, but he was still able to leave after giving birth, cus money is more important for him (which is also said so many times), and the ML took care of him for like 6-7 months, took great care of him, love him, worries for him, changed into a better man for him, and I am not saying that he should fall in love just because of that.

But somewhere in ch. 30, there's one paragraph which said that he found amusing to play with someone else's feelings when he saw that the ML is so in love with him, so caught up to him and hopes that they will be happily stay together even after the child is born, as their relationship is simply contractual and he (MC) is sure will definitely leave after giving birth, but he still didn't reject the ML's feelings, responded to ML in sx, and acted gentle towards him, even after knowing ML's feelings, still accepting ML's affection, getting the other's hopes up, and simply left him after giving birth, leaving the ML hanging.

Kek. The ML before changing is better than him, at the very least the little lovers of the ML is very clear that their relationship with ML is just money, sx, reputation, and vanity, no manipulation of feeling or getting hopes up before leaving. I mean, I have seen manipulator MCs and enjoyed them, simply because it is deserved, but this one, nop. I don't see why the ML deserved to be manipulated and kept hanging.

Then what? They met again after childbirth then he saw that the ML is still very much in love with him, took advantage of that, had some father time with his son, and lived with them happily ever after. Lyk, What the frikin fck is this? Where's your oh-so great conviction that spanned more than 30 long chpaters that after giving birth, you will never meet again, no matter what? That you're only after the money and you don't give a fck about ML or the kid, as technically, its not yours? And theres not even a mention what he feels for the ML. For months, you were so cold to them, didn't care and even manipulated them, and suddenly, after months of not seeing them, you're gonna come back and start a happily ever after? T fck is this.

    • Gary Stu. And its even unreasonable.

Everyone.. just likes him. Not super liken where everyone just fawns up to him, but there's at least 3 other than the ML who likes MC, and it's simply because of his face, mainly his eyes. And everything just goes to his wayn like hiding his pregnant belly. wut?? ??? ?? ???. jpg. Like how?

    • Based on their dynamics, this love will definitely not work. But of course it did lol

Every single time, only the ML puts an effort for their relationship and wants their relationship to progress. The MC is either "idc" or "i-don-give-a-fck-cuz-im-only-here-for-the-money" or "i-still-don-care-cuz-im-cold".

[collapse]

Yea, don't like it, dropping it, and never gonna be back. Or maybe I will cuz the ML is a deserving cinnamonroll uwu.

I just finished arc 1 and currently in arc two.

So, this novel is all about MC needing to successfully give birth to the orginal's child. I supposed the original will die after giving birth.

I just finished arc 1 so I'm still not sure about the main plot of the story. But one thing that made me rate this as 4★ is the attitude of ml.

Is not that I hate him for being a scum in the orig plot line. The ml's changed of attitude and behavior when MC transmigrated to... more>> the orig body is absurd.

Well, let's say that MC have a Max charm in his eyes that made every men fell in love with him in first sight, I just don't know why ML was obsessed with him.

Unlike the scum Shou or scum gong novel, both MC's have time and feelings to invest in ml's heart. But here, MC just came and ML automatically beloved him.

Well, . let's say that this is like the novel the villain with ten thousands fans, or that ML and MC have previous entanglement I'm their orig lives...

Anyway, MC is cold and indifferent. After experiencing his first time being a dad, he chased over the warmth he felt after being a dad. But well, MC is very rational and decisive. Which made me like him very much.

Though, I pity ML a bit, I think he deserves it.

The whole novel itself is plain, the plot is filled dog blood. But what made me continue reading it is the development of both protagonists.

I'm curious about MC's identity and the reason for his QT. Additionally, ML as well. I think his the same throughout. I do t think it's VR. So I want to know why ML is following MC world from world.

...

Okay...I skipped reading to the end when I finished the inferior and superir human beings arc. This arc is the start of MC having wavering feeli gs for ml.

But I'm really curious about the ending so, I just went and read the last few ch.

Well, I thought there's a plot twist. But I guess not.

After the apocalypse arc, where MC (human) + ML (treepeople) + baby lived happy life upto MC's end of life span, there's only one chapter, well, the ch 156 explaining everything.

I dont understand the mtl much but it seemed that
Spoiler

MC is a tasktaker, and ML is a mutated original inhabitat of a certain world? (I'm not sure about the ml's identity, but in the end, he appeared inside the system space where MC emerge when he talked to the system.)

MC and ML seemed to be in some kind of husband and wife task. And in the end, MC just pushed ML and he was now a free soul?

But from my understanding... the arc 1 to the end, MC and ML have already played it. And ML always played the scum man, and MC is the pregnant abused person. Anyway it seemed that MC did all these in order to became free from ml? And maybe the reason why he was so cold and indifferent is because he was abused too much?

Ah~ I don't understand. The author became lazy explaing the conclusion.

[collapse]

I don't understand the ending much, more like it's "..." like your brain go blank not understanding what just happened.

Anyway, the baby is also the same from every world. <<less

I think this novel is ok I’m just upset with the third arc. How can an omega who is pregnant have an estrus? It’s basically like a woman’s period and only happens when they aren’t pregnant. Being pregnant his body shouldn’t be telling him to get pregnant. Having an estrus during pregnancy seems like a big plot hole to me that just forces him and his ex husband to be together

Just finished this novel. Before reading I had a mixed view because of vastly different reviews.

First, MC here is not all good, shy, virg*n and innocent "holy mother", forgive everything kind of shou. People don't like him because he leaves ML and baby in every world? But that is the main PLOT of this novel, he doesn't belong there, he is not allowed to stay unlike other QT novels where MC stays with ML till death in most worlds. I don't think some even understood what they were reading. At... more>> least read the description first. Also each worlds MLs are scum. They forcefully aborted the child, abused, sold original hosts body to others or killed the original body owner. If not directly killing, they were fooling with others in bed when original host was calling for a help and died. Or forced them to commit S*icide.

I think our cold hearted, detached and emotionless MC was the most suitable person for this missions. He only cared about his missions in this worlds, and that is giving birth to this baby who never had a chance to be born. And that was also the only regret or last wish of their real fathers. MC wasn't too depresses or shocked after looking at original body's memory, yes he shed few tears in some worlds after getting the memory. If MC wasn't this emotionless and calculative, he would have wanted a revenge or would have acted too suspicious around ML because of his emotions. But he was calm because he only thinks about what is the best thing to do for the baby, not things that would be helpful to him or any others. All the original body owners were innocent people who died cruelly and tragically because of ML, even their baby was not spared. Why people want him to fall in love with those MLs? I actually enjoyed seeing them in regret and pain. In the first world MC has no attachment to the baby, well because it's his first world, weird pregnancy without his consent, it's not his body, not his memory, not his child, not the person he slept with and got pregnant, not his life.
Spoiler

Of course he would want to leave as soon as possible after completing the mission. Specially there is this annoying scum that wouldn't leave him alone.

[collapse]
He started to love and care for "his" babies starting from 2nd world. But he has time limit in each world so I don't understand why people are complaining.... <<less

4.5 for arc 1, and 5* for 2 - LOVED arc 1&2

3.5* for arc 3 and 4

This is a difficult story to rate because there is huge quality difference between arcs.

Arc 1 /4.75* - 35 chapters or so and is NOT a QT novel yet, but rather a well paced slice of life story. I LOVED it, but the author should have ended this arc after MC died instead of having an epilogue and let MC meet the kid. That was totally draggy and gave the ending of this arc... more>> a bad aftertaste, as it is unnecessarily cruel towards ML and the kid.

The system only appears at the end of this arc, and only then the system explained to MC that he can hop worlds.

Arc 2 /5* - Excellent arc, but I recommend to skip final chapter of this arc! In the final chapter MC abandons the kid and moves to arc 3.

This arc was tragic but it had some slightly bittersweet parts as well. I loved the scum ML here a lot in the end and truly felt sorry for him.

MC seems somewhat moved in arc 2 and since it is QT, as a reader you hope this is the start of character development. But.. NO. Sorry... And that is why I dropped the novel after arc 4.

Arc 3 and 4 had a whole different quality. Whilst arc 1 & 2 had many chapters and were almost short stories, but arc 3 and 4 and I guess also the arcs after that are much shorter. Characters and scenes were not so fleshed out, same for plot. Also the characters became weirder and weirder.

I flipped through the end and not sure MTL was correct, but it seemed that there is no HE?? I would love this story and part of the charm is that MC is a very cold one and provides some good scum gong abuse, but thats under the premise there is character development and there will be a good overarching story. But as far as I can judge now, it doesnt.

I recommend to only read arc 1 and 2 and dont see them as a connected story, but separate short stories instead. Maybe that was also the initial plan of the author when she wrote the lengthy, kind of slife of life arc 1, but in the end she chose to make it into a (weird) QT novel. <<less

If you are expecting romance or that the MC will change his personality, sorry to disappoint but it will not happen.

This is probably the first time when I like MLs more than the MC. As they had more character growth and were more human than the MC. It's really hard to connect or relate to MC as he is stone cold, detached 24 hours and honestly selfish.

All in all, didn't enjoy it but didn't hate it and the ending was super anticlimactic and so unsatisfying.

I would describe this novel as dog-blood.

By shapter 17 I had dropped this novel when the MC had been r*ped by the ML.

I don't know if there's something wrong with the MC when he didn't get do anything when being r*ped and acted like nothing happened afterwards. MC didn't get angery when ML broke into his room.

... more>> MC says he doesn't like being physcially intimate with ML, but reading it seems to me like MC doesn't mind be indencently assualted.

I think MC is dumb for letting the ML have his way with MC. MC also thinks the everything will be over after the baby is born. <<less

So far, I actually like the MC's detached character. It's really not his body or his relationships at all, and from a third party perspective it's clear the ML is scum. Very appropriate responses! Very coolheaded MC!

ML is emotionally entangled very inexplicably though. It doesn't make sense that he fell in love at all, but at least in this first arc it's not utterly unbelievable that he would develop some feelings for his child and thus the carrier given his excessive kindness to past lovers even after they schemed another... more>> person's child over his head. Ngl what makes me the most mad are MC's classmates. I know they weren't being malicious and they genuinely care about MC, and MC didn't care about the issue that much, but how can you just expose his sexuality when he's not officially out of the closet yet???? And then proceed to spread this information publicly with basically-strangers??? But also there was no explanation at all in the beginning about what happened (it does come later though). Also, I'm personally not a fan of mpreg stories when the mpreg doesn't really make sense and is a 1/9999999 probability event. Originally, I thought this would be a story focused on childcare and family every world, but that's basically not the case at all. He really doesn't like being a father lmao, it's just for the money (which, given his situation, I can't blame him either). After the child is born though, we do see some emotional entanglements, but it's more dogblood than fluff.

Each arc is also quite long, but personally I would get bored halfway though and skip. Technically I read the end of the first three arcs, but I skipped like half of each. <<less

both MC and ML is a scumbag literally scumbag, which were not that surprising.

When I finished the first arc, it makes me wanna drop it so bad why? The way that the MC just left without even thinking about the child is just so frustrating I mean ik that the child was not he's but the original MC still he didn't even consider asking the system if he could stay for the child so he could take care of him he only care about the money and he's beautiful life... more>> he's selfish isn't he. But on arc 3 he ask the system and the system accept which was a big character development I thought this would continue.

still I continued to read it, idk what to say about this novel but still it's good ig?

don't really know why the MC and the ML continued the transmigration.

anyways it's happy ending. <<less

After reading it until the end, I don't know how to rate it. (Lol) Maybe the author's theme is dark fantasy? Because I'm confused of what is the purpose of MC's transmigration to the "world of scumbags" and the MC and ML acting as actors or following the script? And I don't think the ending can be considered as truly happy ending, as you read the thoughts of MC at the end. Anyway, I don't think I re-read this story.

Yeah, a cannon-fodder male MC left the scum ML forever while the ML raised their child alone.

Whoa, this is bad.

Tragedy is the tag.
