Quick Transmigration꞉ The Cannon Fodder Supporting Female Lead Couldn’t Care Less

A new employee named Yu Guang came to the Quick Transmigration Bureau.

She was a gentle and polite person. However, she had a shortcoming: she was too principled, and thus liked to “use reason” about everything.

After a meeting and a discussion, everyone was happy to assign Yu Guang to the Holy Mother Support Department, which no one wanted to be assigned to.

At the same time, they also paired her with an old defective system, hoping that it would contribute to their “progress” in its own unique way.

Everyone thought that the holy mothers were a group of unreasonable and unlikeable creatures and hoped that Yu Guang would simply expose their true nature and reveal their hypocrisy.

However, unexpectedly, under Yu Guang’s watch, the holy mothers stood up!

What was the big deal about being a holy mother? With proper education and guidance, even holy mothers could create miracles!

Under Yu Guang’s guidance:

– The white lotus holy mother in a CEO novel: “Don’t pity me just because I’m delicate. I can cry while throwing bricks at you.”

– The charitable holy mother in a historical drama: “I want to use my money to help others, but I can also rob the rich to aid the poor.”

– The kidney-donating holy mother in family novels: “Oh, you poor thing in need. How could I stand idly by as you suffer? Here, I’ve tied up all your family members. Just take a pick and stab whichever one you want your new organ from.”

After they conducted an interrogation, Yu Guang’s colleagues at the Quick Transmigration Bureau discovered that there seemed to be an issue with Yu Guang, the task receiver…

Yu Guang: I, Yu Guang, am a person with three principles. I love providing love-based education, overshadowing the romantic lives of the male and female protagonists, and by the way, I’ve also overturned the Quick Transmigration Bureau.

Colleagues: You could just tell us that with your mouth. Please put down that brick in your hand!

[Please note that this review is made by the translator of the story, so it's bound to be biased. Not proofread so expect lots of typos/grammar mistakes.]

I like this story, a lot.

    • One factor why is because it's a QT, which is my favourite type of Chinese novels.
    • Another factor is because of Yu Guang, the main protagonist, and her mysterious backstory. In my opinion, the author did well in teasing her past and how they affect her throughout the story. There's also 08's backstory, which intrigued me as well, though not as much as Yu Guang's.
    • I like Yu Guang's interactions with 08, which is clearly the way that the author explains Yu Guang's reasonings to us, the dummy readers /jk
    • The arcs are generally interesting. Yu Guang kept me on my toes with how she deals with her opponents.
    • Yu Guang addresses one of my biggest dislike about counterattack stories. As far as I can remember, she never punishes her opponents for things they haven't done in that life, only the ones they had; there's a part where she explicitly addresses this in Arc 14 as well.
These were the factors that kept me reading (and translating) even through some annoying parts of the story. Don't let my 5-star rating fool you; I don't think this story is perfect.

    • Yu Guang is a Mary Sue, painfully so. I don't like the way that Yu Guang is somehow always right as well.
    • The nationalism that's so apparent in some modern arcs really got to me.
    • Some arcs are longer than (I think) is necessary and made me feel like the author is just dragging it out at that point.
    • Some plot points feel like they come out of nowhere and are just baffling (e.g. The 'secrets' Yu Guang deduced from the storyline in one certain arc).
Still, to me, the good in this story outweighs the bad and that's why I decided to translate this story. It's far from a masterpiece, but it's still so, so enjoyable. I hope some (if not all) of the issues I mentioned will be addressed in the sequel, but for now, I'm enjoying this first novel just great.

This is the milder and elaborated version of 'professional avenger'. The difference being the MC in PA kills the scum while the MC here makes the c*ckroa.... opps, the scum feel why are they still alive.

In a nutshell the story is about emotionally abusive parents who repent their actions after being physically tortured by their kids.

Translator pls continue translating this novel. Thank you

The translation was okay and the 4 stars is for that. As for the actual work, this is not as engaging as I thought it would be. I read till arc 3 but I found them long-drawn. Each arc could have been completed in 10-15 chapters but it went on and on till 50s or more.

Good read for those who enjoy seeing MC getting revenge on people who ab*sed the original owner, the premise is simple, original owners wished for taskers to take care of their relatives despite the fact that their relatives were awful to them, hence why most taskers didn't want to take these tasks.

The MC have a screw loose (or pretended to be) and basically would exploit the loopholes in the tasks to ab*se these people. Some may enjoy this type of revenge, I honestly got a bit tired of it after... more>> the 1st arc. I couldn't understand the MC's brain of thoughts and can't tell what's going to happen or what she's planning to do, the 1st arc took too long to finish I ended up feeling tired by the end of it.

So I ended up dropping on the 2nd chapter of the 2nd arc, couldn't stand reading the original owner's backstory and that the MC transmigrated a bit too late, it seems that the MC could only transmigrate at the point of original owner's death or after, so it feels like a bit too late for a second chance since the damages had been done. I would've preferred for the MC to transmigrate earlier so that the damages could still be salvaged.

Honestly, I would've given it 3 stars, but that wouldn't be fair since the writing is okay, I just don't like that the MC transmigrated too late, so I settled for 4 stars <<less

Look, I was about to drop this novel because I thought the MC would be the head general of white lotus holy mother like the summary described. I went in with the expectation that probably the MC was an annoying green tea spirit on steroid.

But chapter 3.2 convinced me. Holy hell that chapter was unexpectedly entertaining and it has the coolest one-liner ever.

If you know Gokusen, imagine that she's more like the villain version of Yankumi.

The premise is interesting. MC is awesome, intelligent, competent, & has her priorities straight. I love seeing how MC can conviniently interpret everything differently while knowing what both sides meant. She's really observant like Sherlock Holmes. It's great how MC can deal with high blood pressure inducing things & disgusting self-righteous, double standard hypocritical real & fake holy mothers. We can learn a bit from her methods & perspectives so not only will we not be harmed by those scums of society who love to eloquently ruin ppl while putting... more>> themselves on higher ground, but also turn the tables & make them taste their own medicines. LOL It's a bit unfortunate that MC has to rely on her superior physical strength a lot of the time. Sure, I agree it works when dealing with really unreasonable ppl in places/eras that the modern democratic law doesn't reach, but I really wanna see MC using more methods in the context of intelligence or other skills/techniques.

Our dear MC acts like a proper protagonist. She doesn't need a ML to save her, clean up her messes, sing her praises, ab*se/trample on her dignity nor force her to forever be #2. Every arc was a good read until close to the end of arc 5 (?) 'the whole world knows I work hard' (around ch 200-252). China's nationalism gets really annoying. The discrimination against all 'foreigners' got really disgusting so I just skipped to the next arc.

BTW, I was reading MTL after ch 151 since I really couldn't wait for the translation & MTL was quite readable for this novel. The translation is still a lot better than the MTL of course. <<less
