The title of this novel is very misleading. Or more like the title is a promise that was never fulfilled.

Call me a sucker but it did make me shed some tears in angst. It pulled at my heart and j was really excited for how it would end but then... they dropped the ball. The story is an emotional tug of war that was never fully completed. So if you like constant heartache and a unfulfilling ending then this is your jam!

The girl is a fool. I dont even feel sad about it anymore. In the beginning it did seem tragic but it keeps repeating and the MC doesnt seem to learn. I dont like her at all, although it might just be because I really just dont relate to the way she loves that guy. But yeah it might be a nice story just that its not my cup of coffee so imma stop.

If you’re into seeing how many tragedies can happen to one person for no reason, then I’d recommend this book. I think the author wants you to feel sorry for her but it almost becomes comical after the next over the top f*cked up thing happens to her.

It’s better than Marriage of Corrosive Love, I guess. At least she tied up the loose ends, though it was more like that superfluous character descended from the sky, slapped a shitton of duct tape across it, spit over his shoulder and called it done. Also there’s a ton of typos in the Chinese version. Desperately needs an extra to settle the resolution.

The theme is good for angst. But unfortunately the author doesn't seem that good at the plot. It looks so messy and she / he just wanted to pour anything angsty into the story. I didn't even shed tears. I usually have a soft heart but not this one. I don't recommend this. Not at all. The cover is just a bunch of craps. And the title too. There's no happy moment a bit. And the happy moment just described in two paragraphs. If this novel is a bit longer... more>> with a more detailed plot and description it will be more good. Unfortunately the author seems pretty rushed to finish it. So don't read this. <<less
