Pro-Mom Fan Transmigrates into Villainess

Qi Anan transmigrated into a super popular male abuse novel.

In the novel, the male lead Jiang Lu was a powerful and miserable beauty. Because of his birth, he suffered from all kinds of scorn, and his exquisite and beautiful appearance became a label of shame. During the dark years when he was rejected by thousands of people because of his disabled legs, only the female lead gave him a little care.

Fans of the novel agreed that sadomasochism came from the work of the female lead, but for the oddball mother fan Qi Anan, her son and daughter, she loved them all, and she strongly believed if there was someone to blame, it would be the poisonous and evil villainess!

And Qi Anan transmigrated… and became the villainess in the novel.

The end of the villainess was terrible. When she was young, she couldn’t be loved by the male lead, and she retaliated against the male lead with paranoia, ruining the male lead’s life by herself. In the end, the male lead developed into a nouveau riche in the business world and paid back twice the humiliation he had suffered.

As a qualified mother CP fan, Qi Anan, of course, chose to tear people up: Baby cub! Mom won’t let you be abused here! Just concentrate on falling in love for me! Be a bit sweeter!

She relied on her status as the daughter of a wealthy family. “Mother” Qi Anan was quite competent, implementing the pampering route to the end, and raising the cubs gently and purely, super considerately, and definitely the best in the world!

She was looking forward to it, and her daughter finally appeared.

Qi Anan took the camera, secretly hid in the corner, and shipped her CP: It’s coming, it’s coming! Lock them up! Hurry up! Press her against the wall and kiss! Mom will record the most beautiful moment for you!

However, Jiang Lu looked like a different person. He looked at the female lead indifferently, his eyes were dark, and his expression was gloomy: “I’ve told you, back off.” “Compared to her, you’re unworthy.”

Jiang Lu walked alone in the boundless darkness, never thinking that there would be a bright day in his life.

One day, various scenes of the tragic end of his beloved girl’s previous life appeared in his mind.

He found out with chills all over his body that the mu*derer who caused her tragic death… turned out to be himself?

They are so sweet!! The MC is the best person ever. She's endearing and very lovable. ML is also someone you can't help but take care of. I love their romance so much. I like how the antagonists do not constantly bug the MC and ML. They appear from time to time, but not so much that it's irritating to read. I want to read the extra stories, but I couldn't find the raws. I hope someone can provide the site where to read the extra stories TT^TT

This is such a fluffy and short read T^T. MC is such sweet cutiepie, she always cares for ML and protects him all the time. And ML really deserves the world

Spoiler

ML has such a huge inferiority complex towards MC. He considers himself dirty just because his mother is a prostitute and has seen some dirty things (yknow his mom and his men) growing up. He thinks he doesn't deserve such a kind, clean, and innocent MC. Of course, MC doesn't really care about his background and still loves him a lot.

Anyways, OgFL is such a b*tch. MC was initially nice to her because she wants her CP to spread some sugar and dog food. But OgFL thought MC was just acting nice and was being a green tea 🙄🙄. She was also interested in ML at first because of what she saw in her dreams (past life), but when she found out ML's background, she immediately felt that ML is dirty and disgusting. Good thing MC realized it early that OgFL is not like what was seen in the OgNovel and that she (OgFL) didn't really respect ML as a person that much.

[collapse]

This is a good short read if you want to take a break from all the drama and dog blood!! <<less

Cute, short read. Honestly a shorter version of "Transmigrated in the '90s as a little Dumpling" (moving forward referred to as TALD and I would consider this a sweet, slice of life story). With that being said this is going to be a double review about the both since I just so happened to read one after the other and just can't help comparing the two against each other. "Pro Mom Fan Transmigrates into Villaness" will now be referred to as PMFWTV.

World Building/Plot Delivery: PMFWTV has a pretty compact plot... more>> that is engaging and well paced so you never feel bored. TALD is a slow paced slice of life that really focused on character development sometimes read too slow for me.
PMFWTV

Spoiler

I like how you go into PMFWTV knowing exactly who the people involved in the main plot of the book our MC transmigrates into and what role her OG Host plays. This makes it so the story has an additional plot line/story surrounding the Original Book that our MC transmigrates into and the interactions and intersections caused by the Butterfly effect our MC creates. Because the story is shorter, things is constantly happening which makes this very enjoyable as you learn and discover new things about the plot and you try to foreshadow what will happen next. Although things happen quickly, it still happens in a manner which makes sense and doesn't seem abrupt.

[collapse]

TALD:

Spoiler

Comparatively with TALD, even by the end, you only know that our MC was a Cannon Fodder, and ML was a Villain. Why was our MC's OG Host a Cannon Fodder? And who was she a Cannon Fodder for? No Clue. This was very frustrating for me as a reader as I just wanted to know, especially since reading this there was the stereotypical thought of if-I-leave-this-City-I-could-potentially-avoid-the-death-flags, which means the OG MC must have been in the same city? But I wouldn't know since this was never mentioned. Additionally without the interaction between the OG plot characters and the butterfly effects from our MC, TALD loses an additional layer of suspense, so a lot of times while I'm reading, it feels like the story is dragging. I had to occasionally stop for a breather and do something else before I returned to this story to continue, there were times where I had to convince myself to continue reading to finish since I was close to finishing. Also note that the first 10 chapters of the extras basically reads as a continuation of the main storyline which is why I'm at c115 and decided to drop the last 10 chapters. Honestly the whole backstory of MC transmigrating into a book seemed more like an arbitrary plot setting that the author created just to have a reason or background surrounding a 10 year old rebirthing into a 6 year old body and providing our MC a "starting pack" with a brief understanding/knowledge of some characters

[collapse]

Character Setting: In both stories ML has a tragic backstory and is then healed by the warmth of our MC, and because of this our MC becomes the bottom line in the ML's heart and cannot be touched.

TALD:

Spoiler

This is where TALD shines, very unique, our MC was originally a 10 yr old who transmigrates into a 6 year old so her thinking is still very childish/naive. Absolutely love how although she is a very warm and likeable little dumpling, as soon as people say anything bad about our ML, she immediately changes and is very protective. Has a very great Meng aspect to her character, and although dense/naive she is very straightforward which eliminates the wishy-washy nature of some plots that just drags because the MC is 1. Dense/naive and doesn't get hints and then 2. The MC is too embarrassed or shy and that's all you see for the next few chapters as misunderstandings continue or a plot drags on. So very grateful for our MC's character setting otherwise will definitely end up dropping this story partway through.

The supporting characters also have a very well fleshed out personality and they aren't there just to move a story along and then forgotten. I have to say the highlight however is our ML. The character development for our ML is very realistic, his personality/attitude changes very slowly over the years through the influence of our MC and her family and the warmth they give him without any expectations, but there are a few core aspects that don't ever change which is greatly appreciated. Granted TALD is also twice the length of PMFWTV which allows the author to flesh out the characters better and display them better.

This story heavily focused on Character Development, so no true antagonist in the sense of our MC/ML had to deal with/interact with and overcome, but the plot progression that caused our MC or ML to pause and grow, or caused the reader to understand the inner workings (or another facet of the character's personality) was truly amazing.

[collapse]

PMFWTV:

Spoiler

Unfairly I cannot speak about PMFWTV without comparing to TALD, since that was what I ended up doing the whole time while reading PMFWTV. MC in this story is also similarly very heartwarming and friendly and is able to make friends but becomes courageous/outspoken once our ML is bullied. I appreciate very much the trust she has for the ML at all times but unfortunately is not as well delivered because of the shortness of the story and the compactness of the plot. ML is very protective of our MC, however at times it has the stereotypical chinese ML prototype of silent alpha who doesn't communicate - which isn't really realistic and frustrating to read about since communication is the key to a healthy and long lasting relationship. ML has his inferiorities that doesn't disappear immediately which I very much appreciate and also appreciate the interactions between MC and ML throughout.

Can't say much about Supporting Characters as they were really there as a plot device and used when convenient or needed, not saying they were bad characters just nothing super memorable.

Antagonists were very clearly antagonists, nothing really redeeming about them which worked for this story and is why it made it a well paced short story.

[collapse]

Disclaimer: I am a huge proponent of a Character's Setting, if I like the MC I can finish reading a story despite plot holes or not great world building. On the other hand, If I REALLY like a plot, I can also deal with an annoying MC. I also read TALD first before reading PMFWTV so whilst reading PMFWTV, I kept comparing the characters to TALD which wasn't really fair because TALD is basically twice as long as PMFWTV and the focus of TALD was truly the development of the characters.

Disclaimer for PMFWTV:
Spoiler

With the disclaimer in mind, I didn't hate any of the characters in the story they all acted within their roles in the story and moved the story along. Similarly I read TALD first before reading PMFWTV so this review may be heavily biased because I couldn't help comparing to the Character development in TALD.

[collapse]

Disclaimer for TALD:
Spoiler

With the disclaimer in mind, the MC annoyed me at times but was able to get through because I absolutely loved the ML. Not to mention my preferences are for more OP protagonists and hate the super dense/naive kind. But the Author did a good job in delivery that the denseness/naivety of our MC was well controlled and for the most part didn't annoy me. As compensation our MC is super direct so the love interaction didn't drag once MC discovered it so my annoyance was like a rollercoster I'll get really annoyed and our author will make me then like her again with a redeeming point. The plot annoyed me as well because I just wanted to know why MC and her family ended up being cannon fodder, who were they to offset to make look better in the OG story?! But what saved this world was if you didn't think that our MC transmigrated into a book, as just a stand alone Rebirth, it's pretty well written. Once again I read TALD first before reading PMFWTV so this review may be heavily biased because I couldn't help keeping the strengths of TALD in mind while I was reading PMFWTV. Similarly, if I read PMFWTV first, I might not have been able to stand the slow points in TALD and then ended up dropping it.

[collapse]
TLDR:

Spoiler

PMFWTV: 3/5 starts. 62 chapters. Style is short cute read about a tragic ML that is then healed by our MC. Author does a great job building the world and delivering just that, a short and cute read that makes sense and is enjoyable. Please note above disclaimer which may have influenced why I rated it 3/5, would probably have rated it higher if I didn't, 1. Read TALD first and 2. Didn't read them back to back.
TALD: 4/5 stars. 125 chapters (105 + 20 Extras). Style is a sweet, slice of life story about a tragic ML that is then healed by our MC. Author does a great job building and displaying the characters and character growth but sometimes it reads a little slow/dragging, probably due to the character setting our author created. Honestly if I read PMFWTV first, unsure if I might have dropped TALD partway through due to how slow it was especially if compared to PMFWTV.

I'm going to rate 5/5 for enjoyability but 3/5 for realism. The premise is that the FL sees the ML as her 'son' and the original FL as her 'daughter' which leads her trying to ship them together and remaining a bit dense for a while to the possibility that the ML would like her.

The ML does have a lot of self-esteem issues due to his troubled home-life and being ostracised and bullied by his classmates. The ML doesn't believes he is worthy of the fl, however the FL is... more>> always supporting him and trying to promote his self-esteem.

And so, as this is a saving the ML novel, the FL likes and trusts the ML unconditionally. Not going to lie the FL is a bit of a Mary sue but she's not an annoying one. I.e. The prettiest and romantically sought after girl in the school trying to save the equally attractive, smartest but somehow excluded ML trope.

If you enjoy healing novels this is a great novel to just sit and read to. I feel like I didn't do a good job selling this book but it's a really sweet with a little angst near the end which I like.

Sidenote: I've read the main story (up to ch 68) and slowly reading the extras which are fluff galore. <<less

I was expecting a fluffy lighthearted plot... but it's actually covered with a deep, heavy and heartbreaking shell...

Spoiler

ML had a very difficult life, but he was super strong in surviving.. in his "past" life, he remained cold-hearted and his heart was hard and frozen..

In the current life, ML tasted the bittersweet taste of care and love from the FL. Also, his melodrama about his own worth was the biggest challenge in their relationship.

FL was living her life in the cloud after her transmigration. She probably didn't fully accept her reality. Once she realised her feelings for the ML, I guess things just came crushing down. But she adapted well..

[collapse]

I like reading about their super sweet romance. FL is the ML's anchor to his morality~

The friends are awesome, and even the villainess (QZ) is great in her portrayal of a green tea.

Also, the extra chappies are wonderful 🌈

All in all, recommended reading!👍🏻 <<less

So cute.

The FL is nice and the ML is good too but I feel like if we didn't know his thoughts he would look like a scumbag who ignores the FL and is cold all the time.

I kind of don't understand why she likes him so much

... more>> And his actions kind of make it seem like he likes the ogfl.

But because I know their thoughts it's cute.

And the FL knows his character and thoughts because of the book so u guess she understands him

Doesn't change his actions but it's still understandable

I wanted to see further development like with her family members

Idk it just would have been nice <<less

I enjoyed reading this. The story and characters are good. The face slapping/drama parts is not overboard imo. It feels more realistic/relatable I guess compared to other novels that go way beyond reason or rhyme.

I like the FL tho I got a bit annoyed at one point because of her intervention (not persistent) with another's love life (early chapter) but it didn't last long since she didn't insist on it in the end.

ML's life is really sad. I like him. He deserves to be happy.

QZ is really s*upid. At first... more>> she only wants food, clothing and a life free of monetary issues which she already got. Being greedy, delusional, and two faced bit*h can never end well.. <<less

Giving this a 5 star.

I know its cliche but Im a sucker for these kinds of stories. I have read a lot of transmigration or reincarnation to a novel stories. And there are things I noticed with these kinds of novels: 1) the transmigrated MC sticks to the plot regardless of the deviation of characters, 2) MC has 100% faith in the ogML or ogFL regardless if they deviate on their presumed character or personalities.

Thankfully, our MC in this story, though she believed in the characters because of what she... more>> read in the book, she wasn't all that naive and ignorant. She realized quickly that she can't trust the supposed ogFL. She realized that in her current life, they are no longer paperman and has to live life as it is. Thus, she manages to realize her love to the ML as a more than a friend or more than a mother love.

The story is sweet and cute. Not too angsty and not focus on revenge.

It’s a 4.5

its a cute lighter short story. Both leads are adorable, loved them both. Romance is candy sweet, can’t get enough. There are some plot holes but it doesn’t deter the story. This story is like a refreshing sherbet after a heavy meal.

yes, ML falls in love first and it is pretty early I guess because no one has ever treat him tenderly?. And yes, ML has an inferiority complex towards FL because of his mother and environment

though sometimes it doesnt make sense when FL created a concidental occasion to help FL and ML, from the very first go ML never minding SFL. And thank God, FL is not that oblivious of being a CP fan as it is quite early when she realized SFL had bad intention towards ML

it should be around chp ± 25?

This is a good read! The storyline is good, there's some plothole in it but it doesnt play big roles much so you can ignore it. MC acts genuinely and isn't annoying, the ML is hardworking and very doting on MC. I would recommend to those who wants light read with not much conflict with good romance and storyline.

A very common plot nowadays.

- FL who transmigrated into a novel as the villainess ✔️

- An ML with a tragic background ✔️

... more>> - OG FL who's actually a btch ✔️

- the FL with no real talent, skills, or edge aside from being positive and loyal to the ML ✔️

As you can see, just what I said, the FL is very boring. Aside from being "like a little sun", she really doesn't have any uniqueness as to speak of. She's just very good and kind to the ML and that's it. She's just a goody two shoes but not like a s*upid saint (good thing). Nevertheless, I don't like such a monotonous FL like her.

As for the ML, well, of course a tragic background + traumatic experiences are needed lol. Anyway, there's really no unique characteristics about him as well, it's just that, in order to emphasize his rose to prominence, a very tragic background is needed and then of course he is very cold to everyone, until the FL came. And then he's only good to her. Typical ML with a tragic background, I must say.

As for the conflicts, there's really not much. Aside from the leads' family problems, there's just the OG FL. But all in all, I think the biggest conflict in the story is the ML's psychological trauma and perception of himself. Aside from those, there's no scheming from others (well, aside from that s*upid ex of the OF FL). Also, it's ridiculous that the FL's mother never appeared even once.

Overall, it's kinda boring for me perhaps because I've read a lot of similar plots like this one. 7/10. <<less

This story is simple, sweet with very little drama/face-slapping. FL is a mom-fan, meaning she thinks of the oriFL and ML as her kiddos and she LOVES them to bits along with the CP. So when she transmigrates into the villainess who bullies the ML and FL, she obviously doesn't do it anymore and instead strives to protect ML.

FL is a Silly White Sweet and wins ML's heart. She initially wants ML and oriFL to be together but realizes that oriFL is actually a scheming lady who doesn't care for... more>> ML and instantly her love for her "daughter" vanishes lol.

There's really nothing much to the story. Just enjoy it if you want a soft fluffy story to pass time. I do adore the brother who is such a siscon.

Love the extra stories!!! Very good addition to the story.

Spoiler

First extra is of ori Jiang Lu taking over Jiang Lu's body and wondering why he's married to Qi AnAn. He quickly realizes that she's not the same person and wants to divorce her regardless cause he thinks he's supposed to be solitary and separate from happiness lmao. But he doesn't because obviously the cutie AnAn manages to make him fall in love with her again. A really nice read tbh.

Second extra is also really good! AnAn loses her memory and marries a low ranking guard. I won't reveal much of this but I'd love to read a longer version of this lol.

[collapse]

Would've given it 5 stars but felt that some scenes were abrupt. Also how did ML rise to fame so quickly? Didn't make a lot of sense but okay.

Spoiler

I also forgot to mention another part which I loved: ML regains memories of past life (book plot) and worries. FL TELLS HIM THE TRUTH that she's a transmigrator!!! So good haha.

MC is a good person who will try to see people's good sides but once she confirms that they are not good she will then avoid you. Just like how MC likes the og FL but when she knew that og FL hates her. She avoided her and wont talk to her.

MC loves ml.

The first time was love for the character. Love for friend, to realization of loving ML as a man that she wants to spend her life with. There was no denial. I mean there was but she... more>> did not avoid ml, she wanted to find out how and why she loved the ml.

There was no " im not the OG FL so you shouldn't love me." She realized that he was no longer a character in a book. MC and MLs friend Yu talked sense to MC giving her a courage to confess to ML. <<less

I felt the ending was a bit abrupt. Looking forward to QZ's ending, wedding atleast. It somehow ended after all about the past life was revealed and they finaly did xoxoxo.
