The prince, Brad von Pistel is a proud, insidious, dark-skinned, ugly prince known as the “Black Pig Prince”,

In the middle of a training class at the Royal Academy, he recalls the memories of his previous life as Kurokawa Hayato, an otaku gamer who is an Arasa-ossan. At the same time, he realizes that the world he lives in is very similar to the RPG “Final Quest” that was so popular in his previous life.

However, in the story, Brad is a villainous character who later becomes the king and is destined to die at the hands of the hero.

There is still some time before that day arrives, but if he doesn’t change his ways, he will end up dead. Brad decides to change himself and live an honest life in order to avoid the end of his life at all costs.

But as he becomes kinder to those around him, diets, and uses his knowledge of the game to become stronger, he becomes a handsome prince, and instead of just avoiding the end of his life, he ends up being worshipped by those around him!

It’s supposed to be a success story where everything you do turns out good, but the author’s personality is so twisted that even he doesn’t know how it will turn out.

Mediocre. Jumps from cliche to cliche with some glaring issues, things like some random underling being able to seriously injure the first prince of the country (before) and still repeatedly insult him to his face (after), in public, with no one doubting that it was on purpose, with no repercussions.

It's not the best novel, but if you read the description and accept it, along with that it's a jp harem with an eternal virg*n protagonist, you'll probably be OK with what you read in the story.

No real romance so far,... more>> unless you count "You're a beautiful girl" "Wow, a beautiful boy called me beautiful... *blush*" as romantic dialogue. <<less

MC was a loser Otaku who died from doing something s*upid.

Gets reincarnated as a character in a game he played.

Character is a prince and is fat. Apparently being fat makes him a bad person. The MC claims he'll try to turn himself around but is treated as a saint for basically doing nothing.

MC seems to be just as unlikable as the guy he reincarnated as at the moment. His whole cliché: "doing nice things for the plebeians" comes off as self - gratification and sophistry after making a nonsensical rant about how being attractive is the most important thing.

Which, yeah seems to be a trope in anime media but it always seems off no matter the case.

I'll try and see it as just bad writing from the author and try to stay objective. But that whole tangent put me off.

I'll give it a chance since it's only got 7 chapters, but from what I've seen so far, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Last note: the cliche "Being fat makes you a bad person" trope is so overused that it's just disappointing when you see it, why do so many writers like this trope so much? <<less

I know this is just in the works and starting to get into the storyline, but this is the kind of story I have been waiting for. However, if this isn't your cup of tea then... I suggest y'all go look for another story with a different tangent.

Moving on; having read this story and knowing that there'll be more chapters in the future. The first few chapters did feel plain at first, or redundant you could say; like, the usual "oh no, I've reincarnated!" type.

But reading further, I've gradually grown... more>> interested in this story because my main reason in reading here is because the ML (our MC) transmigrated into a villainous prince character of the game he once played in his past life! Why? Because out of all the stories I read so far, I need a hook-line-sinker for me to feel immersed in reading a story in which this story has that I am now reading.

*Ahem* Anyway, I may be thinking too much cause I'm now hypothesizing if our ML's family has some secrets or if it's the usual type of story.

I noted in one chapter that our ML has the same looks as his father while his twin brother has the same looks as their mother, which makes me think, "so, our ML is the crown prince of the Kingdom because of his appearance? Is there a history as to why the ML has that appearance? Moreover, is there something in the lines that the original game had displayed the character our ML now wore as villainous?"

Our ML's teacher is a hero and famous for defeating the demon king in the past.

Our ML always thinks/assumes that the people around him misunderstood his words or actions that one or two of our female leads "worships" him (so says one reviewer that I kind of agree with because of how it was described). But the part with his fiancée was one to behold as our ML didn't do exactly what I thought he would do, which was agreeing to break off his engagement with her.

Even though the storyline is not necessarily new, that doesn't mean that it is bad so far. It's still pretty early, but it is shaping up to have potential since it has not had any grievous flaws that would detract from the story so far. Meaning that it is enjoyable so far, and there really isn't anything that makes you stop and pause with a cross-eyed look.

Its pretty average, cookie cutter. But still entertaining enough. Another MC with Misandry/Misogyny (Cannot for the life of them have a normal/close relationship with someone of their own age and gender)

Surely needs some refinement.

Translation is ok. Honestly liked it but would never get into my "Top List of WN" and critically just based on how uninspired it is and my own jaded gut feelings as a frustrated Japanese WN reader it is more than likely to become an "unfinished" work. ✌️ The other reviews criticisms are certainly valid especially the... more>> one about how the guy who injured and openly verbally and physically harrassed a first born prince on school premises in the general public did not face any repercussions. But then you have to ask yourself

*why or how can most of these noble children mc's usually travel without an entourage of attendants or guards in public places especially dangerous dungeons..

*Which noble in their right mind would openly criticize a Royal in public especially a School full of nobles and commoners from all over the place without fearing that people from rival factions or people who have a grudge on them snitching on them and get punished for lessee majesty

*In particular on this book why did the beaurucrats siding with his brother not repress the prince in any way during all his efforts for "revival"

Honestly though. People should just relax. Its a work of fiction of a fictional world. The writer can write anything he/she wants for his own vision of that world.

It already has people with enough power to be literal nukes with just magic running around the place literally unrestrained. It's a wonder that most of the world hasn't been divided and ens*aved by the powerful few.

Logic has long left the building soon as "fantasy and fiction" genre has been tagged. <<less
