Probably the least-appetizing title possible for a really sweet novel, lol! The world here seems to combine the concept of spirit pets/spirit guardians (like in sentinel/guide stories) and omegaverse. The MC is an omega with a cute little piglet spirit pet. The ML is an alpha with a snake spirit pet. What a combination haha! This story takes place in an omegaverse decades after significant protection reforms have been passed to protect and encourage the development and education of omegas, so I'm guessing this novel will be more sweet and... more>> fluffy than dark and r*pey like some omegaverse stories can be. Our MC is a graduate level researcher in his 20s... not quite clear yet what exactly he studies except maybe agricultural/veterinary science?

Apparently he was the childhood friend and sweetheart of the MC up until MC was about 6 years old. At 6 years old, the MC experienced a really high fever and lost his early childhood memories, thus forgetting his alpha friend (prob fated-pair I'm guessing). Also ML's family had to move away for various reasons and so he couldn't stick around and make friends with the MC again. But it's obvious he's always been determined to make his way back to our cute MC and rekindle their relationship.

All the chapters after ch.20 is locked. That’s why the listing ends there even though they’ve translated up to the 40s.

The bashful shou x bold gong dynamic is so old school and cliche. The MC and ML has a college professor/ research student relationship but their relationship looks more like an idealistic high school puppy love that you see in a shoujo manga rather than a mature couple that would be more fitting with their age.

This is a typical slice-of-life novel mixed with a sweet childhood past that connects the... more>> MC and ML together. While the concept of having a childhood connection is sweet, it makes the current relationship seem superficial. Besides their past relationship, there’s really nothing else that makes me ship this CP.

The characters have their own spirit pets that resonates with their owners’ emotions and it adds a whole level of cuteness to this novel. The MC has a pig and the ML has a snake. There’s a lot of cute moments between these two pets.

There’s actually some explicit content rather early on in this novel which surprised me. The timing was rather inappropriate (and kind of random) because their relationship had barely started. The MC may be an adult, but he seems to have the mentality of a minor (his timid and cutesy personality is too child-like) which makes the s*xual content really uncomfortable.

I stopped reading because this untimely progression of the relationship tells me that the author did not put serious thoughts into the relationship of the CP. It’s all about fluff and spicy smut.

If it weren’t for the explicit content, I would’ve recommended this to high school aged viewers because of its similarities to shoujo manga. <<less

Very tender, a super light and short read that you can read it in less than a day 👌💕.

This novel is great dog food, highly recommended for hanging out or getting your fill of sweetness, no drama if that's what you're worried about as from start to finish everything is cute.

From the main couple, secondary couple, the relationship of the guardian buddies and the childhood love of the kids, all of them have a happy ending (Well the secondary couple's that they give to understand in one of the extras as well as the childhood love of the buns 👀).

Tags: light hearted story, ABO, Mpreg, s*upid and naive MC (with a pretty face. Author seems to just wants to give ML a reason other than his smell to fall for him) no logic, story is not that high quality

Boom in love, no development at all!

If you are bored you can read this story, just ignore all those brain holes and it will be quite enjoyable!

They knew each other in their childhood, but ML was forced to move away when he was 8 (?) . The dependent and used to ML since he was a baby, omega MC couldn't cope with the sudden change and got a high fever for several days, that was live threatening for him so the doctors decided to close his glands. Duo to his high fever he got memory loss.

Now ML is back and MC reacts to his pheromones.
