The FL and the ML confess and kiss in ch 294. All that while she still pretends to be a 14 y.o. Boy and he tells her that he does not care what she is, boy, girl or anyone else, he simply likes her, now and forever.

This novel is surprisingly good with very nice family and very nice couple dynamic, although it is rather slow and quiet with quite a few humorous passages inserted for comedic relief.

The FL as a military doctor is rather strange. I think that might reflect modern Chinese healthcare system. She is first and foremost concerned with the payment before providing even an emergency treatment, even when the patient is in acute distress and needs rescue asap, whether that person is a soldier or her own grandmother.

Also, she sort of forgot the oath that doctors give or maybe never even took it: do no harm. She purposefully destroyed her teenage cousin's arm, shattered his hand's bones, so that this brilliant boy does not pass the imperial examination, does not recover from the injury in time for the exams.

There is justification for every one of her actions of course, but even with justification it still looks and feels very odd.
