I became the villainess who grew up in the same orphanage as the male lead.

Whenever the male and female leads were about to get together, this villainess would pretend to be sick to drive a wedge between them.

It was cute. MC is sickly but still manages to be proactive and a badass swordswoman, while the ML is a genius and super obsessive over MC. The ognovel's plot is not what it seems either, there were more twists and turns behind it, and the use of multiple timelines was handled pretty well. Reasonable resolutions, some good heart-clenching moments sprinkled in, and it all leads to a wholesome fluffy HE.

ma gad, I just read it and it's so good, the ML already showing his clingy and obsessive behavior towards the MC since the first time they met 💁🏻‍♀️ but I knew the MC would be a dense protagonist as usual 🥱 she's cute and kinda funny tho

Some plot holes & frustrating moments, but overall a good light read that's cute & doesn't drag on for too long.

Pure speculation on my part, but it feels like the supposed heroine of the novel just replaced the MC in the original storyline - a healing mage (which are usually only supposed to appear from MC's elf bloodline) that's the treasure of her father & brothers, men who get in the way of the crown prince & her relationship bc they're overprotective. They get together because she saves him &... more>> blah blah blah.

Still don't know if og heroine is evil or not, but her family definitely is, and they did not deserve to be forgiven by ML. Like seriously, these people conspired to kidnap you, erase your memories, kill your mother & sister, and use you as a battle puppet. You're forgiving it all just for a girl? She's making the pain go away with her magic but isn't her family the source of all your pain? Isn't this just a conspiracy to keep you from getting revenge? And it seems like it worked in the original story because these villains all got pardoned just bc they promised to no longer do illegal things. Like wtf?

ML has a curse that makes him forget about precious people to him like the MC, so I guess og story he just forgot everyone except the heroine. That's still pure speculation on my part, but I'm calling it now, and somewhat not looking forward to being right. I hope author can write less stressful cliches. Please. <<less

I really like it personally. TheFL is great and I love the ml's behaviour towards the fl. I can't say much with just 5 chapters and it'll probably take some time to get to know more of the story since the updates are nearly non existent. A shame tbh cause I really want to know how the story will progress

Totally recommend it!!! You've got read this one🔥🔥❤️❤️

This was one of best reads... this novel has everything (romance, action, comedy, character development, emotional) in just right amount.

The plot is so good... it has such good plot twists it keeps you hooked until the end, the storyline is easy to read and the best part is auhtor didn't drag the story too much.

... more>> MC is now in my favorite list... MC is reasonable, funny, smart, strong and equally lovely.

ML is jem, ohh his obsessive side is represented so well, it doesn't feel toxic.

Side characters are also so good... even the villain characters were described very nicely.. author didn't just pop out the villains, there was background story even for the villain.

Overall loved it... Translation is also good. <<less

Loved it!!! I haven't read a nearly completed rofan in so long and this was so good fr

Ria is believably capable, competent, and, when it comes to Luka ofc, a little oblivious or in denial. The story also feels like it treats her with respect. It doesn't feel like she unreasonably gets damselled, if that makes sense. There's moments where Luka does save her, sure, but it's not excessive. Her abilities also feel reasonable given her past life, and I like the relevance of her past life to her present.

Her... more>> feelings towards Luka make sense and feel like they progress naturally. Their dynamic together is so good because Luka is obsessive and overprotective and all that fun stuff, but Ria takes that obsession gladly. Ria is not very normal for him either!!!

Anyways... THE TWISTS ARE SO GOOD!!! Trust me, there soooo worth it. Feels like a play on the structure of rofan stories too, so if you like seeing unique things done with the structure of the genre, read it!!!

The pacing is really good, too. Doesn't feel like a drag or like unnecessary things happen. Plus, I like how it feels like it's setting up cliches and then delivers something unexpected. I got hooked by the promise of cliches I love and then was pleasantly surprised when it did not go the way I was expecting and instead delivered something better.

I came here because terminally ill female lead and obsessive yandere is my guilty pleasure, but they didn't fall back on the FL coughing up blood and ML reacting. Ria basically succeeds in hiding it the entire time??? Luka doesn't find out until it's basically resolved and he doesn't have an excessive reaction to it. Ria also did not just pull a runaway fl. It was just intended to be temporary so she could cure herself, but the misunderstandings from the communication failures were soooo good even if a little contrived.

There are some minor plot holes and set-ups that feel forced, but I will forgive them because their payoffs, especially the emotional ones, are too good.

(Listing what I remember... The sword tournament at the end, I get that it's kinda symbolic given her previous life, but the setup feels kinda ridiculous lmao. Major events are also pushed by one-dimensional characters which can feel kinda cheap, like Luka's necklace somehow being taken by the Claire motivated by a one-sided crush on Senia. There's also the whole getting the children and only the children out of the labor camps and then just... leaving everyone else behind to return to them for a plot point far later).

There are side characters too (especially in the latter half) who I wish we could've felt the presence of more.

They're fun and interesting when they're there, but it's quite jarring when it feels like the trend with all the side characters is that their presence will be felt sm and then suddenly when their sort of "character arc" is filled they're almost absent from the rest of the story. <<less
