just to say I didn't notice it was BL until the completion of first instance but under the circumstances where I thought there was no romance I continued to read it

(only martial arts manhwa and self development manhwa are the ones I read with no romance)

then when I discovered it was BL I still continued

(only read manga, manhua, manhwa for that before dropped all of them once I got out my rotten girls phase expect "I want to be a big baddie". But novels were a big... more>> no since all BL have more romance which I hate to read word by word in manga I can just skip those kind of chapters but in novels I can't skip them otherwise I won't know where I got lost)

(I read GL in novels more since its almost comedic when the characters are like "you come to my aunts so much that I almost thought that your car and house is just for decoration but still I never thought that you as my ex I have to call you auntie now" from nephew's point of view its normal in male and female but when its two girls its funny and romantic.)

(other example - from a girl whos a lesbian wants to blackma...'ahem ahem' convince her father to let her marry a girl "shen wan study and become so important in my dad's company that you can marry me" hence shen wan was forced to do homework while shedding tears of why is it that her wife was just playing games. but of course she had an answer "my dad is rich" hence she was forced to do HW then when her wife was convincing her father a few years later " dad shen wan's so important that the company can't do without her right" hearing a yes was all she needed to 'convince' her father to marry her.)

that got long but still BL novels are not my type but I like this one so recommended. <<less

Let me sing some praises for the 39 chapters I've read.

Interesting world building that actually connects the MC's original world and the game in a meaningful way, there's an ongoing mystery that gets supplied every now and then.

The characters are quite nice, even cannon fodder and mini-side-characters are flashed out enough, they have a good dynamic with each other and distinct characteristics.

Games so far lean more towards action than puzzle, the aspects that have to be figured out aren't really for the readers to guess, lots of information just isn't... more>> shown but solely thought of by the characters. It's not thriller/crime but action.

There's some face slapping typical for OP survival game MC's: "weak newcomer lol" - "wow, so strong".

I'm VERY glad the writer is obviously aware of how overused that is and always ends it quickly, often in the same or at least next 1-3 chapters. I just don't have the patience for this low-quality drag anymore.

Some players actually notice that his behaviour and reactions aren't normal for a newcomer and are wary of him right away. Very nice, very realistic touch I haven't seen often.

MC is mostly OP, there are some instances in which he has to rely on others but they are rare.

He's well-rounded and has a characters that fits his background.

If he can realistically safe an innocent player, he will do so.

But if a player hurts other people, MC not only does nothing for them, he directly kills that person.

He cares for humans, tries to be very nice, but in contrast to most novels of this kind, he's a true survivor of the last days instead of a goody-two-shoes who makes you wonder how he managed to live through an apocalypse.

And he's a little bit crazy, which is fitting as well.

ML is a violent lunatic towards all living things, he's charming, frightening, blood-thirsty, and very OP.

In short, he's pretty insane and matches well with MC, they both have a somewhat warped perception and character and seem to be evenly matched in terms of strength.

They respect each other, work together, and have a nice chemistry.

So far there have been some homoerot*c moments and neither of them acted like a 14 years old kid, no blushing or other bulls not befitting of adult characters.

I have expectations for the rest of this novel, right now I can only recommend it to those who like action, horror, some gore, and a truly strong MC. <<less

So far so good.

The MC has the power to recall dead souls (but these souls are just a replica, not the actual person) and make an army. There's not much strategic thinking nor tension since the main casts are so OP, so it's more of a feel-good action than a horror/thriller novel.

This author tends to make her CPs very powerful so there's no roadblocks. It's cool and very satisfying to see the MCs gaining popularity, though it falls a little short on the infinite flow end.

The arcs (till 100) are... more>> not scary at all so you can read it at night no worries, but if you prefer high tension, high risk infinite flows, this might not be it.

The MC is very kind, he tries to help but also has a morality line he adheres to. He loves human since human species were basically extinct in his original world, and tries to save everyone.

They go deeper into his morality ground later on, and I really like that he's more of a grey character as oppose to how I assumed he was a holy mother type.

As for the CP

It's mainly ML flirting and pursuing him while MC just lets him be, but MC is slowly opening his heart to him and it'll get sweeter later.

So far, plot is going well. At this point, the 2nd world has just ended. Pacing is quite good, plot and writing flow also good. The characters in the novel have a good amount of depth into each of them. Seeing is interesting and looking forward to how the story and world progresses until the ending.

My only regret is that I didn't realize the novel was still ongoing so I can't binge read until the end. Currently looking forward to more chapters from both the author and translator. I really thought I would drop this after a few chapters because the protagonist is described as someone overflowing with kindness. Fortunately, he's not the irritating kind as that would make me drop this in a matter of seconds. He is kind, but it has its own rules.

For the plot, so far, it's going well. The arcs and the characters are entertaining, especially with the new additions of character from the protagonist's world.

Edit: I'm at Chapter 191 (near the end), and I'm ending this. There's unnecessary kindness in the instances/copy... more>> that triggered me, so yeah, it became the irritating kindness. Another point is I don't really like the feeling of 'behind the scenes villain' and amnesia trope as it's not my cup of tea and doesn't feel really good. So for the sake of self, I'm finishing it in advance at this arc. <<less

This is a novel that makes me feel bad about the "NPCs" or ghosts stuck in the instances. It feels like they're imprisoned by someone and are being punished for something they didn't do.

The MC arriving feels like he's saving them and I like that idea.

About the MC:

The MC wants to help humans or anyone who feels human buts find their flunctuating emotions cute. He can also see when someone is not worth helping so he's not a saint. Instead, he's just a survivor who wants to help humanity against alien forces and can respect them if they want to be free.

He can be friendly when it matters and violent when necessary. He doesn't know much about random things like card games and fairy tales because of his past.

About the ML:

The ML on the other hand is more playful and bored so he always gets surprised when the MC does something completely unexpected.

Also, he mentioned it once but he feels like he doesn't belong in the instance the MC saved him from. I'm guessing this is the case since his abilities are way too violent and different from the instance MC found him in. It feels like he's literally plucked from another instance and was shoved into a random role.

It's only recently when he remembered that he may have been a player. My guess is he's either a player (probably someone who was known as a top player before) or maybe a designer of an instance? He's too powerful to be a regular person tbh.

The MC is OP but rightfully so considering where he came from and what he was doing before he ended up in the first instance. The ML is also OP so they're both equal in terms of strength and intelligence.

(They can be dumb/oblivious sometimes so it's funny when either of them becomes petty and mocks the other for it.)

I like unlimited flow/surival horror novels, especially something like this that focuses on the "NPCs" as well instead of just focusing on the survival aspect.

However, not all the instances in this novel sounds interesting or scary to me. I've read something scarier. I think only the "Lost Treasure" was interesting since there were many factors that could've cost them their lives.

Because the instances aren't too interesting, my review fell off to 4/5 instead of my initial 5 star rating. It's good but there are better unlimited flow novels. <<less

I haven't gone that far, but I really love this novel.

The plot is quite immersive, and maybe if you have humour like mine it's hilarious as well. The fighting scenes are well described and make think, " well damn."

The MC is a very realistic example of what someone who survived the apocalypse would be like. I cannot help but laugh when he states the human content of people, he sounds like a puppy. He has that fresh breath of air coupled with that poisonous tang most readers love. He is... more>> very practical and has a straight forward attitude.

The ML is a simply a charming dagger, one not afraid to show his edges. He is blunt as well and has a beautiful chemistry with the MC. It's cute how he wants to experience what the MC has gone through but unnerving at the same time due to his enthusiasm. He loves threatening people, objects and animals. He has a deeper character than it appears, and it's not some shallow depth but really complex.

The world building is amazing. The side characters and even cannon fodder all play a role in this. Then there twists in the instances as well, most rather unexpected

It keeps you guessing and right now it seems read worthy. <<less

Put me through the ringer with this one but in a way that makes me feel like I just did long-distance running! Super fun, very easy to digest. Each arc is only about 18-30 chapters long which is pretty short for unlimited flow stories! The progression also makes sense without delving too deeply into each game.

What I really enjoy is that amnesia happened to the ML and not the MC. So rare to see. I hate it when the MC's backstory becomes some big reveal at the end like I... more>> really don't care!!! Lets keep it light it really shouldnt ALL be this deep every single time!! This story is refreshing!

Although I had a pretty good idea of the ML's character at the beginning, towards the end I start to feel confused by his character's personality. I really can't tell what he's like. He feels the most vague/malleable to me, it's a little shame. But overall it's still a pretty good story <<less

I hope translations can be quicker, this has a very strong start.

MC - Chi Ting is overwhelming with kindness for humans and considers them very cute 🥰 as he's not seen them in forever. He's both strong and kind, but not dumb or naive. He's quite smart actually and has decently good EQ, like average level and is like the calm, happy-deadly sort of people who are sweet in general that don't like to use violence unless absolutely necessary. I love how he chooses to negotiate instead of resorting to... more>> violence if he can help it.

ML - Yue Ren/ Moon Blade (Pretty sure he's the ML anyways)

Enjoys toying with humans since he's bored. He's quite different so far, he doesn't give out vibes of being a godly being in the unlimited flow usually seen in ML's of this genre. He's an NPC that has somewhat broken free of a few restraints cast by the instance and is definitely psychopathic or sociopathic if he can feel emotions.

Shout out to this adorable side character Li Tao, he's so precious honestly lol. His skill surrounding Chi Ting is quite funny with how the light of kindness and good will blind him so he needs to wear sunglasses around the MC 😂. The broadcasting viewers also aren't really annoying to read and they don't dwell on MC's power or looks in the overly descriptive, mesmerised, awed type of way. <<less

The only thing I regret is reading this novel before it could be fully translated. This is my first time reading a MC with overwhelming kindness, but he's not naive or s*upid. I appreciate that he isn't just 1 sidedly OP compared to MC and is even a bit weaker. Love them both and the plot is super interesting. The side characters also have distinct personalities and are strong as well which I really appreciate.

Can't wait to keep reading when more chapters are translated. Will probably be my new fav danmei. Maybe even fav novel idk. <<less

This novel is so good. I like how it portrays humans relationships. Chi Ting is one of the best MC I ever saw, and I also like the ML (he appears in the first instance). So far, I only read up to 2 instances but it gave me goosebumps. MC don’t forget about his old team and they aren’t forgotten at all. The writing is pretty good too so even if sometimes there’s a lot of informations it doesn’t feel boring.
