    [collapse]
Well it should supposed to be like that, but unfortunately it is not.

So I will correct it again and tell the truth about PMG 2. so lets start.

This is the story about a man called "sh*t Feng" "Lin Feng".

  • To start his journey in new world and choose to walk in path of COWARDLY p**sy.
  • To seek the true meaning of s*upidity, and become the most ret*rdED person in the world.
  • Learning the art of "Letting Go the Enemies and Regret it later-on". So Drama and future Problem will keep coming.
My first review at chapter 161

Spoiler

If you guys are already read the PMG 1,

then you guys know Who is Lin Feng and how his personality or character, also as how his the story goes.

In this PMG 2, you will find a most ridiculous character of Lin Feng and also the other support Character. To the point of you might wondering it is really a Peerless Martial God 2 novel or is it just some joke novel made by fans.

To put it simple

PMG1: -Lin Feng is Aggressive and Merciless.

PMG2: -Lin Feng is Weakling and p**sy.

It is just the Character Personality. Not to mention how bad the Story line is.

To all readers out there, who has already read the PMG1 and want to read PMG 2. I suggest you should think again to read this PMG2, I didn't recommended to read this Novel. Let just us who suffer to give you the review.

Save your precious feeling that you got from PMG1. Because PMG2 will ruin your mood and feel totally disappointed.

My Review after reach chapter 684

Spoiler

Well after reaching this chapter, Ling Feng suddenly becomes more s*upid,

and the story become more and more unreadable.

the reason I can reach this far because how much I like PMG 1 and respect it. so I gave a chance to this shitty PMG 2, I was thinking that the new Author might come back to his sense to return the characters and story to become interesting as PMG 1. But the truth is totally different. sigh so much regrets to see this PMG 2.

In chapter 785

Spoiler

You will meet a sudden lame plot,

when Lin Feng Father who always hidden in Lin Feng special world,

got power up to the higher realm.

to the point that break all the fact that we all know about his Father in PMG 1.

it was all fact and even his father and mother itself that states that they will not focus on cultivating and instead live an ordinary life free from conflict.

but now, Lin Feng father is even stronger than Lin Feng..

ahhaha

the new Author must be drunk when he decided to write this PMG 2.

[collapse]

in chapter 879

Spoiler

In this chapter,

the new Author put a fatal mistake that completely show how poor his story.

As you guys known in PMG 1 almost all powerhouse or strong people can create thei own small world.

but in this chapter the new Author look like doesn't have an information about this thing,

which makes you wonder about "Is he really read PMG 1 ?" ahaha..

to even not knowing this information..

it's so sad.

Chapter 1513

Spoiler

In here finally Lin Feng comes to Earth, and he becomes Amnesia again.

what the most s*upid thing that happen is,

how the Author explain about Lin Feng current situation and how he can go there..

and it was totally nonsense. because when he comes back to earth,

his back to his former self at his twenties when he just about to die. so you can tell that the time on earth and the parallel didn't move at all..

The f*ck?

so tell me, if Lin Feng is back to his twenty, and what about his Wives and child that transferred to earth?

dafuq is that sh*t ha?

Also how could Mister time cross to earth and just suffered injure that make him lost half of his power, when mister time at that moment didn't have power like Lin Feng now.

(Lin Feng currently has power of Heavenly Ancestor realm, and it was 3 whole new level of layer realm which each realm have 10 stages. Its really really far from Mister time power at that time when Mister time goes to earth)

not to mention Lin Feng suffered lost memories, and also he might die if he hasn't has the help of Fuxi and Dao One to transfer him to earth with protection..

Chapter 1666 (Well in this chapter it shows how the Author hates the country called "Ja**n", and also "Western country / Ame**can" in the past chapters).

Spoiler

Ok in this chapter I will put it short as I can.

the Author reveal the identity of Eternal demon and his background, such as Family and their love affairs.

but that is something that in the end of the chapter that catch my attention. and it was the note from Author,

which is roughly translated from Chinese to English. it sound like this :

[When I wrote these two, I felt disgusted, but my goal is to make them feel disgusted, and as a Chinese, I want to humiliate them badly!]

I don't mind people patriotism and also since this Novel is originally from China/Chinese, but to obviously show some ill-intent and like a kind of hatred/Grudge. if feels a narrow-minded people

[collapse]

Chapter 1673

Spoiler

In this chapter the Author brings up the conflict about Japan - China that was a hot topics couple years ago in real life. And also contain some American agressive action.

What islands are China and Japan fighting over?

The Senkaku Islands dispute, or Diaoyu Islands dispute, concerns a territorial dispute over a group of uninhabited islands known as the Senkaku Islands in Japan, the Diaoyu Islands in the People's Republic of China (PRC), and Tiaoyutai Islands in the Republic of China (ROC or Taiwan).

well, now I know why the Author hold a grudge to japan, and also the reason why the Japanese in this novel is described as a Villain and bad guy who is shameless.

the other content in this chapter is about Assassin Group that take place in those island.

And how the American tying to size the island to make it their own base military there..

if you are smart,

now you will also know why he hates these both Japan and American.

Chapter 1693

Spoiler

AUTHOR NOTE (In rough English)

[There are many readers and my reactions, why did you write about Lin Feng as tr*sh, why he was the most famous person in the battle world, why did you write about him to come to the city, why did you do all this in the city, why did you do this in the city as tr*sh, Brother why did you do this in the city as an ending, all of this have a reason, there is a reason for it, there is a reason for why you become weak!]

the main point is about how the Author make Lin Feng come back to earth and live in city, but what happen is Lin Feng become a piece of sh*t and weak. Then the Author promised to the reader that he will make Lin Feng become strong again and comeback to the Battle world (Different dimension /Original place) , but after certain time what the Author said not yet come and even become more worse, some sh*t keep appearing and the Author seems like just spouting some bullsh*t in the novel, it makes the reader irritated.

The Garbage Author even just don't give a sh*t about them (reader)

lol.

[collapse]

The Author is totally shit

soo sad. the Author also keep mentioning to readers to not blame him (in Author Note at the original Chinese). but the reality is he was a garbage Author that turn PMG 2 into such a shitty novel. why would readers not curse him with that quality?

Personally from the start to the end of his Journey is already bad and not worth, but the worst is in the Earth Arc.

In this Arc, the Author totally write a story and plot that he himself not even know what his doing.

(I guess you will know when you personally read it, but I didn't recommended. But if you guys insist, well don't say that I didn't warned you.)

THE SHAMELESS THING IS, THIS NEW GARBAGE AUTHOR KEEP BEGGING MONEY FROM READERS LOL (in the orignal Chinese novel)

EDIT (ch. 510) :

If PMG was Dragon Ball Z, then PMG2 is not even as good as GT, it is the Dragon Ball Evolution live action movie equivalent

At first I gave this 3 stars because very early on it felt like it was true to the original, but it has quickly deteriorated. The writing is very childish and cheesy, specially intimate moments between friends, family, and lovers, far too cringey. All of the characters feel very different, Yi Ren Lei especially has her story butchered, and Lin Feng's personality is... more>> all over the place, one minute he is ruthless the next minute he is letting his enemies off easy, or outright forgiving them. At one point he actually threatens to sue his enemy. Oh how the mighty have fallen. PMG was my first novel so it has a sweet spot in my heart, but reading this sequel has soured it. This new author should have just written his own independent story. <<less

This is a crappy continuation that should have never been written. The domineering, ruthless and determined Ling Feng has been neutered and he became an indecisive bit*h creating his own problems. He has people trying to kill him and he just let's them go when he would not have hesitated to kill them in book 1. The author wants to try and make it seem like Lin Feng has grown but, all he has done is become a pu*sy who lets enemies live and they always come back to cause... more>> trouble.

The author eventually gets with the program and gets back to the usual Lin Feng for a bit but, he has a bad case of making too many of his enemies like c*ckroaches that always seem to find a way to survive. It's like the author has no other written ability other then to reuse the same sh*t over and over

Spoiler

At one point he simply let's one of his enemies live for no apparent reason when he could easily have had him killed by the Blood Emperor watching his back.

They sent a group to kidnap 2 of his wives and their newborns and setup an ambush to kill him. After killing most of them the son of the Heavenly Emperor arrives to kill him but, the Blood Emperor comes out to kill them instead however LF just let's them leave.
It makes zero sense other then to drag the story out and even the Blood Emperor doesn't agree. There was no threat from the Heavenly Emperor because at that point in the story the Blood Emperor was at peak strength which was equal or greater then the Heavenly Emperor who was severely injured from an earlier battle. Everyone knows this but, LF the c*ckroach creator just let's him leave instead of killing him.

Then once again that same son tries to kill Lin Feng when he's trying to secure the Chu family to his side. What does Ling Feng do? His opponent uses his so called sure kill move and after Lin Feng undergoes a breakthrough, instead of killing him in retaliation he simply lets him leave like a b*tch.

Later one of the c*ckroaches kidnaps his Grandson with the help of someone who was using the situation because he wanted to form an alliance with Ling Feng. He did not get involved with helping the c*ckroach and allowed Ling Feng and him to settle things on their own. So what does Ling Feng do? He abandons him and lets him live.

Over and over he has seen that there is always a way for someone to come back from being killed or abandoned and yet the idiot decided once again to leave his enemy alive.

After being resurrected you would think that he learned his lesson from the previous c*ckroach who orchestrated his death but, this author just ends up destroying a good character for a lame fan fiction. Over and over his past enemies come back to cause trouble and the idiot just keeps repeating the same mistakes.

This author ends up ruining part of the ending of book 1 for Huo Shi Yun and Mu Yun.

Book 1 ending for Huo Shi Yun:
"A thousand years, you're so silly." Lin Feng walked up to her and took her in his arms. Huo Shi Yun shivered. She had never felt so happy in her life. How painful, a thousand years of pain! At that moment, she finally felt happy, and she couldn't stop crying uncontrollably.

At the end of book 1 after searching for Lin Feng for 1000 years they are finally reunited But, apparently that meant nothing to LF as we never hear anything in book 2 about her.

Book 1 ending for Mu Yun:
"Mu Yun finished healing people and she sat down next to a tree. She looked nostalgic.

At that moment, someone brought a chair over to her and sat down next to Mu Yun. She turned her head and looked at him.

She didn't want to stay away from him, ever again.

Mu Yun had been in the tribe for a thousand years, she had never left even for one day. On that day, she finally left with a young man. Nobody blamed her. They just hoped she'd have a happy life."

Unfortunately, she doesn't get to be happy. This ending implies that she will finally be with LF however, after he takes her with him he apparently never accepts her.

We see her again when he returns to back to his home world were now she runs her own sect of healers. He is unconscious at the time but, she helps heal him and then asks for them not to tell him she helped.

So we're to believe he showed up to take her away after she waited 1000 years and after that he ditches her? C'mon now! That is not something LF would have done but, because that's how the new author wrote it, LF comes off looking like a dick. If he was not going to accept her then he never would have taken her away.

This novel even makes Lin Feng into a real dick. Over and over we have seen him come to the defense of female friends and/or loved ones whenever they are being forced into a relationship with someone they do not love and yet, here in Book 2 he basically manipulates/forces a girl to have to accept his friend as a potential partner because he doesn't want her chasing him.

This girl is the last Inheritor of an Ancient Dragon Sect and she originally chose LF as her future husband to help revitalize her sect. She does not try to pressure him because she knows he is trying to keep his distance so as to not get her hopes up as he already has many wives.

First he offers her help by introducing her to Some Dragon's he knows to help her with Recreating The Sect she is an inheritor for.

He tells her that she can have an alliance with his city so her Sect will have it's own region like all the Ancient sects that are coming out of hiding.

However, when his friend tells him he likes the girl and would like to pursue her LF ends up basically putting her in a position where she is forced to accept the feelings of his friend even though the one she cares about is LF.

When the time comes for her to Setup her Sect he tells her he will not form an alliance with her unless she can form another alliance with another Powerful Sect or City. He does this knowing that the only option for her is his friend who with LF's help, setup this little scheme to put pressure on the girl to accept his offer for an alliance. She does not want to accept because she knows this guy has feelings for her and she has feeling for LF but, LF knows that her creating her Sect is very important to her so He puts her in a situation where she has no choice but, to accept the alliance thus giving LF's friend the impression that she may accept him.

She ends up getting hurt by LF and tries to convince herself to move on but, at the end of the day LF comes off looking like an as*hole for manipulating her.

Reminder : That's not the same author as the one who wrote Peerless Martial God (+Ancient Godly Monarch & Legend of Futian).

This second author will transform the Lin Feng ruthless/decisive and smart into some merciful/idiot and indecisive MC. Utter tr*sh. Definitely not reading that.

Well I thought this will be good sequel for PMG but I was totally disappointed. Lin Feng became more arrogant and worst he becomes p**sy. There's so many characters trying to kill him and he spared most of them (9 out of 10) not because he's being merciful but afraid for further complications. I hope the new author maintained Lin Feng's character during PMG1 which is free and unrestrained. Another thing, why everywhere he goes, he keeps looking for trouble. He's a magnet of trouble, my conclusion is, he is... more>> annoying. I hope that they won't continue translating this novel because it would be a waste of time and money. All in all, this is a tr*sh sequel for PMG1.

My suggestions to readers, if you like reading arrogant and pu*sy main characters. The this PMG2 suits you. <<less

Before we start, I'd like to believe I wrote this review assuming the people here read the first series.

My review in reading 183 chapters.

Honestly, while many people who have read the original PMG series come here reading the sequel because they thoroughly enjoyed the first one. I, for one, am one of them. But while many of us want to read for the sake of the story, the style the second author creates is just too different from the first one.

For one, the author tries to create suspense in fights... more>> in a terrible manner by letting MC's enemies provoke him over and over before he actually fights. When he does, they attempt to kill or cripple him and when he wins, he doesn't do the same. The motto used to be a tooth for a tooth but I guess the author now just wants to let everyone live. Any cannon fodder character that appears gets knocked out now and he lets them live usually with 3-4 chances if the author intends for that character to come back to get more screentime. When any actual character that can match him in strength appears, it's almost always a draw or either side escapes. There is next to no killing now if compared to the first series from MC's part.

Secondly, the author tries to create a personality in the MC's wives. While I understand what he's trying to accomplish since most of his wives didn't get screentime in the first series, now most of them become jealous of another potential character being possibly added to the harem. When was Duan Xin Ye ever jealous in the first series? If I recall correctly, she was one of the first ones to be accepting of his polygamous marriages.

Going back to the second point, the one who's possibly being part of the harem was introduced by arrogantly whipping people around her while riding on a horse. It's the exact scene that was copy pasta'd in the first series during the Shen Gong Tournament. The character's reaction becomes completely opposite of what he did back then where he destroyed her entire clan. New character whips people around her, he gets targeted, he stops her and she asks someone to kill him in front of his face. Not only does he let her go and forgives her in very same chapter but actually interacts with her now throughout the story and she's a potential character being added to the harem.

So in the end, a lot of things that occur in this second series where the choices of the MC are concerned and the characters around him become completely opposite of what they would have done in the past. While I might not have minded these things if they occurred in the first series, I find it off putting since they are not the choices these characters would have made in the prequel. <<less

To begin with, it's bad, if you happen to finish PMG1 don't ruin your mood with this PMG wannabe novel. From the first chapters you can see that every character in PMG2 has completely different personality. Complex and well thought world changed to linear chain of events. Author can change world rules depending on a certain event and change it to something different page after. Very often while reading you have a feeling author tried to copy-paste events from original story to make it look similar but failed. Every interaction... more>> reeks with s*upidity, I was literally amazed with the lack of sense in characters actions and what they are saying. In general it's just a fan made novel of a very poor quality, probably released to make a few extra bucks on the popularity wave of original PMG. Very sad. <<less

I LOVE IT!!!!!

The story is absolutely amazing. I was a huge fan of PMG 1. Regarding the style, it is MUCH, MUCH better! Jing Wu Hen, the first author, was bored in the end, that's why everybody was always surprised and attacks were always terrifying. The new author is enthusiastic and motivated which you can feel in the style. And PMG 1 was slow. PMG 2 is super fast, something is always happening, it is much better!

As usual, totallytranslations' translator is amazing, he's doing a great job. Always putting translator's... more>> notes and he even translates some of the author's notes which makes things even more fun.

Also I find it very interesting how Lin Feng has changed a little again. Now he's not the strongest cultivator in the world anymore so he adapts. He can be worried again at times. And also I love how the new author shows that Lin Feng has actually never been calm or indifferent, he tries all the time but he can be worried, nervous, sad, etc. <<less

It needs to be restated, PMG and PMG2 are written by different authors.

As a standalone novel, it would be bad but readable (hence 2 stars). As a continuation of PMG it gives you a feeling of a huge letdown. (EDIT: Honestly, the ending is such a pile of goo that I wish I could change it to 1 star).

Writing is truly inconsistent. Author makes up whatever is needed to progress with the story. Lin Feng's behaviour is inconsistent as well. And he lets most of his enemies run away again... more>> and again. Old characters are randomly dropped and/or randomly pulled out of the ass by the author again. Young masters, officials who can't bear to lose influence and other typical stuff is also there.

The protagonist hardly uses his inner world for anything. And in general, usage of his powers isn't really though over. Rather than skillfully using his skills, Lin Feng is put in a lot of cliche situations like "your crazy energy invaded my body but it fused with me so I'm stronger now".

Haremization of the novel goes through the roof. Interaction with females lacks any rationality and depth whatsoever. And they hardly play any role apart from doing some crazy things. Lin Feng is repeating his usual "i shouldn't accept you, it wouldn't be safe for you and would be unfair to you and my other wives". It's like that's the only plot idea the author has, i.e. 's*upid ladies doing s*upid things and needing a rescue'.

Not to mention, that the protagonist lets his ladies run off into danger all the time. And then he is furious that something happened.

Aaaand there is something I hate in these novels. 'Return to China arc' - with a usual strength lost, interaction with police officers, strong anti-japan hate...

Really, I'm so unhappy with the novel that I can't even force myself to make this review consistent. <<less

I haven't written on this platform for like three years but this novel is so crap that I've felt no choice but to come back and write a review.

I ended PMG1 and saw that PMG2 was immediately being translated at Ch1. I decided to leave it until it had well over 1400 chapters before I read it so that I could have a very good time.

I'm currently at chapter 546 and think that I unfortunately have to stop reading. I didn't know that this was another author but even then,... more>> this sucks tremendously.

In this novel, LF becomes a LOT more kind hearted. LF never particularly had the best personality but atleast he was genuinely ruthless and OP. Now he's no longer ruthless... or OP. He's talented, but only a moderate more than others.

We don't experience the LF who went to Xue Yue and killed anyone who provoked him. The author in this novel REPEATEDLY tells you how "Bad-tempered" LF is and how he has some notorious reputation for it.

That couldn't be further more from the truth.

Here's how it goes now:

Random Villain: "Ha, I'm the favoured son of Heaven, bow to me you peasant before I humiliate you"

LF: "No thanks" He smiles icily

RV: "YOU DARE?!"

LF: You think I should listen to you??? Who are you without your daddy's status?"

RV: "I'll kill you!"

LF: "Yeah, whatever. I'm leaving" *tries to walk away*

RV: *surprise attack to try to kill him*

LF: *Beats him up*

LF: "Try that again and I'll kill you" *walks away*

"WOW LIN FENG IS SO BAD-TEMPERED"

Now of this seemed badly written, drawn out & boring to read then you now know what PMG2 is like.

His son is 3 levels away from his cultivation realm. Also
Spoiler

beats him in a fight

[collapse]

Lin Feng used to be almost unbeatable and now he loses frequently. He cgonstantly & desperately needs reinforcement, constantly have others sacrifice himself for him because he can't either escape or kill others himself and the author CONSTANTLY repeats how others will eventually surpass Lin Feng. The "PEERLESS" Martial God. Wut?

Lin Feng is no longer that unbeatable genius. I understood why he wasn't unbeatable or peerless getting towards the end of PMG1 due to it being the ending but for this novel, it makes no sense. Every random genius is his equal. It makes you wonder what makes his Forbidden body so special when he's basically like every other random genius.

Spoiler

Some enemy plots and schemes against him for over 100 or more chapters, simply because he has a Forbidden body and they're supposedly archnemesis due to the difference in body types. So it makes you wonder, why does LF not have any personal desire to kill him? It's a forced plot point that gets old & tiring quickly. The enemy eventually kills LF (actually kills him) then some deus ex machina God turns up and brings him back to life. LF doesn't become anymore extraordinary or anything. I was expecting him to now be able to fight like 2 or 3 levels above him or atleast learn some deadly skill after TRULY experiencing death. But, nope. He legit just carries on like normal. Still lets his enemies live and is still so "humble".

[collapse]

Plus once you realise that most of LF's problems is simply because he's wearing a "simple black robe" so random enemies want to fight him because he looks out of place and different you wonder whether the author is s*upid or if LF is s*upid for simply not wearing different clothes.

I, unfortunately have to give this novel up.

PMG1 was a fun ride.

This was a disaster and I recommend not even beginning it. Not even the beginning of this novel felt nice. <<less

As a reader of the first PMG from the day its been translated. to de end,

i gotta say

... more>> This Novel, is so AMAZING.

the best thing since sliced bread.

It breathes new life into the overly seriously series by completely neutering the MC. It was needed, as he was far too decisive in his decisions so making him a cowardly little beach is the perfect way to promoting character growth.

Randomly throwing these plot points from the first series is genius, destroying any sense of possible flow and dare I say, originality whilst at the same time, producing cringe worth moments and epic face palms from all the readers of the original series.

Dare I say, this is the penultimate of the series, it literally cant get worse from here on out. <<less

What do I say about PMG 2. It's well meh really. The start is fine feels like an actual continuation rather then a butcher up story. But it is a butchered up story. Lin Feng is so different that I wonder if the new author even read the original or just the sparknotes version and just started to type. LF is all over the place, being a f*cking coward and not killing people to just wiping out sects left and right. Also why is it that the age expectancy changed... more>> so much?! It's like the most idiotic thing to redcon! Also why does he never, ever, f*cking use his spirits!? I so want to be done with this because it is making me rage at the s*upidity! It has gone way too long with too much BS that if you are not a PMG fan just skip it, and if you are a fan of the original dont even attempt to because it is garbage. Also I can't stop reading it even if it's tr*sh, I have to finish any story that I start lol

Edit: dropped it at 1507. Could not for the love of God continue it. It started to become very political, injecting in a hate for the west that earlier chapters didn't really hace and that the original never even hinted at. Also now they can go back to Earth or something like that? Like really?! Wtf is the point of making him reincarnate then if he could have just been brought into that world to begin with?!!! Ugh it just really angered me to a point that only NTR has managed to. So just don't read it please sa e yourself. <<less

The dialogues will make you cringe so bad the only way to get over it was to think a 6 year old wrote it out of boredom!

The first one wasn't that good but it wasn't bad either... if not your usual cliche chinese webnovel. Good in the beginning, while no follow through.

I was hoping the 2nd one would improve even for a bit. But unfortunately it got so much worse.

Everything from world building, to plot, to character building went s*upid bad compared to the already barely edible 1st... more>> novel.

This is just abysmal!!!

Avoid. <<less

As someone who immensely enjoyed PMG I am finding this sequel to be very lacklustre because many of the details I liked are no longer present in this new story.

The new author seems to have decided that so long as he has a land with emperors who smile coldly while looking at others disdainfully but understand them perfectly, the rest of it is unnecessary.

I read some other reviews and it seems others agree in general. I'll keep reading but I'm not devouring it like I was before, now I don't... more>> really care. <<less

This is without a doubt one of, if not the worst novel I have ever read. It started off as something akin to fan-fiction and then stole the characters and r*ped the lore. It's terrible. I'm disappointed that Jing Wu Hen would allow this tr*sh to mar the legacy of Peerless Martial God. Du Wei Q should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Not worth reading unless you want to get mad while reading. TLDR: PMG1 is only so so, PMG2 is much much below so so.

Spoiler

If I recalled correctly, at the last part of PMG, Lin Feng picks up Yi Ren Lei and Mu Yun as his wives. But at PMG2, it looks like it never happened.

What I hate from PoMG2:

    • Cultivation level is sooo much easier to achieve. If it's only Lin Feng it still make sense. But it didn't make sense that so many people (Lin Feng's enemies) who were thousands years of old, who stucks at the same cultivation layer for so much time could suddenly easily increase their lv too multiple times
    • It took Lin Feng 100 years from last peerless layers to god's layer at PMG and at PMG2 he tooks only 3 years to jump 2 big realm layers. And the joke was later he used some blood pills giving it to Mu Chen and other people at Continents of Nine Clouds and people also could jump those 2 layers easily. At later part, it becomes more absurd, Lin Feng could casually given cultivation level to others easily. What's the point of cultivating then? And what's more absurd, he can raise other's cultivation realm to a realm just 1 big realm below his current realm
    • Many inconsistent things, many skills unused especially the spirit world. When he moved first time to Continent of Gods, it was said that he could only bring 3 peoples which are his parents and Liu Fei. Later on it was said that there were also guards in there and also some beast and so on.
    • The half later part of PMG2, becoming more and more infuriating. Lin Feng's enemies all were very talented and have same level or even bigger level than him. And unkillable too, always could run at the last minutes
    • I hate the wives and the sons part too. All Lin Feng did was always saving his families and friends here and there and he likes always leave some of them somewhere and that's become his weakness later on exploited by his enemies
    • Tiantai everywhere. This IMO was also the dumb thing that Lin Feng always build. When he's gone the enemy will control or bully it
    • At later part, if you still reading this crap. Just avoid the 'earth arc'. This one is a major letdown. Cultivation realm is obscure here and doesn't make sense. Many characters should be at weak realm but appeared much stronger. Ancient China characters keep popping up anytime as the author's like. Anyway just skip this arc, until Lin Feng going back to World of Battles

The MC is the s*upidest MC I have seen in all the webnovels I have read. All muscles no brain. If you want to read a book where the MC is plotted against non stop because he lacks intelligent. It is actually very frustrating to read. Lastly, the plot is very repetitive, dead people coming back alive to plot against MC. Very boring.

If you liked PMG1 (I personally rate it 5.5/10) this really nothing near. (I rate PMG2 2/10)

The "write" is pretty bad and the history is a total mess and boring.

I can say I read and didn't at same time, because the history is so bad and boring that you just want to skip lines, chapters even a whole arc.

PMG1 left several plot holes, but PMG2 is a black hole itself.

Unlike PMG1 I recommend to read (but not expecting much) this one I really don't recommend.

Nowhere near as good as the first. Different author... different writing style. (Much worse style btw) At least this author was consistent in the fact that Lin Feng has weapons and techniques he never had or learned just to fit the current scenario. Many editing mistakes too. All and all the first novel dwarfs this one, but it's still a good read and better than a lot of the sh*t Wuxia and Xianxa novels out there.

Continuing on from PMG1, this story had monumental potential. Unfortunately, the author changed. As a result:

1. Time lost all meaning and it became impossible to know how old people were or when specific events occurred.

2. Some important characters from PMG1 were completely forgotten.

... more>> 3. The abilities of the the MC and others were never constant and always changing. To the extent that even when it was possible to use some abilities to avert a crisis, the author just decided that the MC no longer had such abilities.

4. The temperament and attitude of the MC were never constant and vastly different from the MC of PMG1. As a result he needlessly offended and killed people he didn't need to and let people live and be kind to them when he should have killed them. In short, he became an indecisive coward with short term memory loss.

5. If you are Chinese person then you would feel a strong sense of patriotism because towards the end the author let a lot of his personal feelings enter the story by making everyone other than Chinese look like horrible, s*upid bullies that hate China. So yeah, he seems to also be a hardcore nationalist.

6. The plot was a complete mess and completely glossed over and outright delete key events that would have made the story 100x better. Instead focusing on irrelevant filler nonsense. Hence, making the ending horribly rushed.

All in all, if you are not an educated person with common sense, then you might enjoy reading this. However, it was legit painful to read this to the end. I have read many novels, but this was hands down the worst. The only reason I did was because I always finish any novel I start reading. I hence had to continue since I loved PMG1. However, this was downright criminal what the new author did to the story. I won't be surprised if he hates the original author in real life and perfpusfly ruined the story to get revenge for something.

Alas, this venerable is thoroughly dissapointed. <<less
