It's a short and cute read with two couples. Honestly the first couple was very annoying and insufferable for me, I was wishing they'd just get together and the story would focus on the second couple more T-T.

The first couple not only lacked chemistry but their personalities weren't as interesting. I love scheming shou's but this one didn't have any soul to it.. sad.

Short, sweet, a little silly, a dash hot. I like how intertwined the two couple stories are. The misunderstanding towards the end, for some people, may cross a line but it's real short. So just take it as a short and fun read.

Something went wrong in the first two chapters, they made hardly any sense at all. I assume the author was going with the idea of only introducing information as the characters discuss it, not when the reader needs it, but the beginning needed some context. I don't like the lying and game playing to meet people. It's a very unhealthy way to create relationships and reminds me of horrible rom/com movies from the 90s.

It’s a light read. Comedy, fluffy and fun to read. Instead of the main couple and characters, I like the second couple and Huang Hai. He is such a fun character.

People should read this novel.

The story has two couples. The first one is about the MC and his longtime crush from the same school, and the second is about MC's friend slash partner-in-crime and an artist he meets and mistakes for someone from the triad.

They're very cute together and the youthful and fluffy flavor of first love practically floats off the screen.

The second couple's interactions and increasing closeness are intertwined into the story, so we get to see them both simultaneously. If the first couple is sweet and cute, then the second one is hilarious, steamy, and... also cute XD

I found the contrast between the MC acting adorably pure and innocent with the ML and the domineering way he commanded his friend particularly entertaining. All the interactions are fun to some degree and the story doesn't stagnate anywhere.

The only thing that made me hesitate was the bit before the end.

The ML tries a somewhat forceful method to make the MC admit the truth about his identity. It isn't actually as bad as it could've been, but it got a bit out of hand later on. The ML wasn't really to blame for that and it was cleared up quickly enough that it didn't bring down the mood for too long.

Thankfully, that was the only low point in the entire story and it was resolved fairly quickly.

Honestly it barely made me care about the characters. Even the second couple I wasn't that invested.

There's tons of stories that uses deception to engage couples. While I don't like the idea it is after all fiction. Conflict can be interesting or engaging but the way the story was structure I felt rather bored honestly.

It doesn't have a focus and the ridiculousness of the situations.

Plus this is supposed to be comedy but I'm not even amused or even chuckled. This is perhaps I have a different sense of humor probably... more>> but it's really not that hard for me to enjoy the absurd.

I might have rated lower but the story is not that terrible to the point I felt like it doesn't deserve for other to read.

This story is a matter of taste and I can see some good reviews on this. Therefore I don't discourage you to not read this but give it a try. The chapter is short enough to read around 5-10 minutes according to your reading comprehension?
