Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. The engagement of the most adored daughter of the Li Family was broken off. Her furious family members railed against the heartless man and vowed to make him pay the price. * Later on, Li Qiao met her ex-fiancé’s big brother by chance. Some said he was the most mysterious man in Nanyang and his name was Shang Yu, aka Shang Shaoyan. While some others called him the overbearing and obsessive underground Overlord of Nanyang from whom everyone should stay away. Standing in the misty rain, Li Qiao gazed at the ruthless and untamed man with a shallow smile, said, “Hello, I’m Li Qiao.” She would become her ex-fiancé’s sister-in-law, if not wife. * Li Qiao and her ex-fiancé met again on the street several months later when he sneered at her, “Are you following me? Haven’t you given up hope yet?” A harsh voice berated him from behind, “Show some respect to your sister-in-law!” From now on, only one rumor was circulating in Nanyang City – The merciless Overlord of Nanyang had one woman he uncritically doted on. Her name was Li Qiao.

That may not be a problem, but the novel continually teases a mysterious past, with no payoff. Mc’s adoptive Li parents are total scumbags who don’t tell the truth to MC, Shang Zh, the father of the ML is also a scumbag who refuses to talk about anything. The romance here is very weak and conditional, the setting is complete nonsense, and worst of all: there are tons of c*ckroach villains who never get taken care of. MC is already: a genius hacker, sniper, fighter, stock trader, doctor, experimental field expert, car mechanic, leader in AI technology, international mercenary, person with rich money, professional auctioneeer, bomb defuser, professional drinker, and a few other statuses. Yet when her brother faces near death, she doesn’t even harm the villain. She lets others step all over her, only slowly retaliating. So what is this? This is annoyingly reading the MC not doing anything and supposedly looking great in a nonsense world with c*ckroach villains who keeps appearing that take 50 or more chapters to take down when the MC could have easily done so earlier and getting injured. The ‘super mysterious powerful’ ML who is supposedly paranoid and strong can’t even kill a single enemy and instead the writing is like “The ML had a cold glint in his eyes” or he “held a bloody hand and ordered the man taken away by the dark hall” (another useless organization that can’t protect anyone around MC or Ml). It’s fascinatingly s*upid. Novel 1/10 not intelligent.
