Description
Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Lu Zhi Wei is an often overlooked person. Her father didn’t dote on her, and her mother didn’t love her. She lived alone till now. Her sense of existence was so diminished to the point that even if someone had accidentally bumped into her, that person might not even realise they bumped into someone.
Her life was simply tragic and absurd.
Until one day, a “male protagonist halo” crashed onto her head, and her life flipped upside down. Along with it, came something called a system. The system requested for her to immediately become a protagonist, doing everything the male lead should do and making it a perfect world.
Lu Zhi Wei: ?
Lu Zhi Wei: Ridiculous, I’m a woman!
System that refuses to listen: I don’t care. If the mission isn’t completed, I’ll give you an electric shock.
Lu Zhi Wei who’s fearful of pain: Okay bro, no problem bro.
But as the missions went on, they discovered something was wrong.
The female lead, she——
Completely! Didn’t! Follow! The! Script!
System: ?
Optimistic Lu Zhi Wei: Look on the bright side. I can even become the male lead, so what if the female lead is a bit rebellious?
System: I can’t bloody look on the bright side……
This kind of female lead with incredible dodging skills was too ridiculous!!
In the end, the rebellious and ridiculous female lead finally followed a plot point. She fell in love with the “male lead”.

You'll be reading them going through "three" lifetimes and understand what I mean by fate.
Enter our MC, very optimistic, warm, and gentle. She has the personality of a responsible older sister and those around her are attractive to her warm personality.
LZW is one of the poor victims of the system (not only based on summary but also in general) her whole "transparent life" is the system's fault and she believed she could help those like her by doing the 'main' mission of the system. Only to find out the system was the cause of her said invisibility.
After finding out, LZW refuses to cooperate with the system and was even reflecting if everything she did (including loving SWC was because of the system and not her own effort) she decided to choose the extreme method (killing herself) to end this "novel world" or supposed second layer and basically sacrifice herself to save everyone from this corrupt system logic even if the price is that everyone forgets her existence for good and she will never be reincarnated either.
Enter our FL who falls in love with LZW by HER OWN will. Not because of the system and not even because LZW was the "male protagonist." She truly loves LZW as she is.
This was even proven later when LZW sacrificed herself and the world reset to the very beginning where she first met LZW.
SWC didn't forget about LZW and the plot twist is because she had a "system" of her own ever since she was 8 years old. Her system on the other hand opposes the system logic that is controlling LZW though.
SWC hated having others control her fate even if it was the system but it was because of that she decided to cooperate with this opposing system.
Thanks to the system, she was able to see transparent people like LZW. And that's also the reason why she believed whatever LZW said whenever LZW brought up her painful past experience as unbelievable as it sounds.
The only reason why I said three lifetimes is because in the first life as the novel world or formally known as the second layer world, because of the unstable world the OG ML's halo fell on LZW and even SWC who had the system at the time, never expected to have it fall on LZW nor did she know she was the new male protagonist.
So LZW having the "male protagonist" halo was a coincidence for everyone including the evil system. Hence, I say they were fated when they fell for each other.
Second life, where it's the original world not dictated by a novel plot and the first layer world, we find out SWC still has memories of LZW even after her sacrifice because it was due to her own system.
She later reassured LZW that she loved her for herself and not because of others (aka system or plot). Oh, she also hated the scenic spot LZW killed herself at because it was heartbreaking to see her lover kill hereelf like that.
Third lifetime, a completely parallel world without any system interference. Here we witness LZW leading a normal life but pursuing acting before SWC. LZW won film empress award and two TV empress awards. She was an accomplished actress reaching the age of 26.
Enter SWC coming later as a junior starting out, at first glance LZW was already attracted to her appearance but they stayed as strangers no more, no less. (That did change later and to sum it up, they fell for each other once again.)
Wu Jun Sheng (Lao Wu) : I'm going to be explain about our MVP first for a reason, he deserves it. Lao Wu is a system administrator working under the system that labeled LZW as the male protagonist.
In the beginning, Lao Wu was seriously focused in completing the system's mission goal. But over time we see character growth within him. He started sincerely caring for LZW and even became a male mommy fan for her due to her tough experience as a transparent person.
He also revealed key information on someone he loves. His white moonlight.
Lao Wu's sincerity and empathy grew to the point he started developing self awareness about the system's decision. He even assisted LZW when she decided to end herself to end the novel world by breaking the system's rule in exchange for his own life. He took advantage of his authority and used the main system to avoid having LZW be erased from existence and even prevented her from forgetting all her memories.
That's why Lao Wu is MVP!!!
Lao Wu's white moonlight. Her real identity later turned out to be SWC's own system who requested SWC to cooperate her in destroying the second layer aka the novel world that they live in.
She also protected SWC from having her memories erased when the world reset after LZW killed hereelf.
Originally, he was suppose to be the second male lead who loves SWC based on the novel but his fate was changed thanks to LZW. He because an affectionate little brother instead to LZW.
He also didn't turn evil as his original fate. If it weren't for the system's shenanigans, he would have remained as someone kind and polite as always. Later on he got over his white moonlight and "feelings" for SWC thanks to LZW.
Then in the story later on, I started rooting for when he interacted with LZW's little sister. He also ended up falling for the little sister and got together with her.
Even when the world reset, YXZ still fell for LZW's little sister. It was very cute.
LZW's blood related little sister. In the novel world when LZW was a transparent entity, she tried her very best to remember LZW.
She put in effort by writing many reminders and even had a journal to remind herself not to forget LZW. She was doing her best to the point of obsession. Then when LZW obtain the halo, she indirectly found out LZW's career as an actress and supported her as an iron fan.
Also, because she truly loves her older sister she also because defensive whenever someone tries to steal her position as the little sibling. You already guess how her and YXZ interacts since YXZ treats LZW as an older sister sincerely.
But because of this it also brought the both of them closer and they ended up having mutual feelings for each other. To the point I wanted an alternate novel on their perspective and life.
I hate novels that goes back in time at the end, making everything that happened useless. Sure, the characters that really matter remember, but everyone else? Just gone. All the relationships, how everyone met and how movies turned out? None of that happened. Sure they do some of it again, but it really isn't the same and it's basically just a time skip back to where we were but clearly things have changed a lot.
